We started with the cinnamon bun, which was housemade brioche with a vanilla sugar glaze, and honestly it could have been the whole meal. It was that good. We ordered around the table, egg scramble bowl, huevos rancheros, chicken burrito. All of it was solid. The huevos rancheros especially. Salsa roja, chorizo, queso fresco, avocado. Fresh-squeezed OJ and cava in the mimosas didn't hurt either. The food was great. Tori made it memorable. Our server, Victoria (prefers Tori) was just one of those people. She knew when to come by and when to leave us alone, which sounds simple but most people can't do it. Not performative warmth, just actual warmth. The pasta tasted fresh and the sauce was excellent. Just keep in mind that Flour and Barrel focuses on small plates, so the portion is exactly that: small. Every dish I've tried has been delicious, but the duck egg rolls, dumplings, and sesame noodles especially live rent-free in my head. I usually stick with a glass of wine from their extensive list, but I recently tried the green tequila cocktail and it was amazing. My husband always finds a fresh, delicious mocktail option, which we appreciate. Accessibility is something I consider when choosing places to go, and Brewery Bhavana is accessible for wheelchair users, including the restrooms. Being able to enjoy the full dining experience comfortably makes a big difference. I wouldn't necessarily go here expecting traditional Chinese cuisine, but I would absolutely recommend it for a unique, thoughtful, and delicious dining experience.
