Tagliatelle al funghi (top) and spaghetti frutti di mare (bottom)

Came here for date night with my bf and I'm glad I booked reservations in advance cause it was busy! It's tucked away in the alley with outdoor tables and a more secluded patio as well. Inside sat quite a few tables but it did get quite loud. The vibes felt very "summer in Italy" and the food was amazing. We started with a couple drinks, an espresso martini and passione. Espresso martini was strong while the passione was fruity. Focaccia was paired with a nice olive oil. Ricotta scarpetta was incredible. Light and fluffy that paired well with fruit. Highly recommend. Tagliatelle al funghi was so rich and delicious, if you love mushrooms, this one is it. The thicker pasta is what really sold us. Spaghetti fruitti di mare was ok, wish we had more than shrimp since it stated seafood medley but it was still good.

My wife and I visited Bocca Osteria Romana this past Friday and had a mixed experience. We sat at the bar and really enjoyed the meatballs and bread, great flavor and a solid start to the night. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. After ordering our pasta, we waited about 45 minutes with no food. A couple sitting next to us who arrived about 15 minutes after we did ended up receiving their meals before us, around the 55-minute mark. At that point, we decided to ask the bartender to cancel our entrees and just bring the check for our drinks and appetizer. The manager came over and asked us to stay, but we declined. He did insist on having our food prepared to go, which we accepted, and mentioned it would take another 5 minutes. It left us feeling like either the order was never rung in or the ticket was lost in the kitchen. We understand it was a Friday night, but the restaurant didn't appear overly busy, and an hour wait for pasta is simply not acceptable. My wife and I both work in the food industry, so we're not quick to complain, but this was disappointing. As parents of three kids, we don't get many opportunities to go out together, so we really value those moments when we do. Sadly, this experience didn't live up to expectations. On a positive note, we ended up grabbing food down the street at Arvizu's taqueria pop-up, where the service was incredible. The owners (Omar & Julio) were welcoming, and our food came out in less than 2 minutes. That level of hospitality really turned our night around.

The food, services, and vibe were all wonderful! If you want an authentic delicious treat definitely visit this place, the arancini was perfection, all the pasta was melt in your mouth, sauces were not to heavy well balanced, portions were good. The staff were attentive and friendly. Overall a very nice dinner.

We had dinner here tonight with high hopes after reading the reviews. The food was fine - nothing special. However, our service was not great - very absent for most of our meal. Also, we don't mind a lively atmosphere but the noise level was very loud and disruptive.

We were a walk in and although we were sat after 20min I absolutely do not recommend doing that. This restaurant is way smaller than I expected and in the winter months too cold to sit outside. Make a reservation! Outside of wait time etc. the pasta is DELICIOUS!!! We enjoy two pasta entrees that our waiter suggested and he didn't miss at all. Also, the Focacia bread and the meatballs ( not pictured ) were so good we ordered multiple. I feel so blessed to live so close because I can't wait to actually plan our next date night here.

We dined out on the patio with a large group and it was great. The service was wonderful, the patio is really comfortable. I even brought my pup, with no issue. The food was fantastic, as always. The portions were large and we all left full and happy. Overall, excellent experience, we will be back.

The space is cozy and cute, service was sufficient and my Aperol spritz was pretty good. We had meatballs and focaccia for starters, lasagna and chicken pesto pasta. I enjoyed the appetizers, but was not particularly fond of the main courses. I don't believe I'd return.

Very solid Italian restaurant with some really good focaccia. It was cold the day we went so we didn't sit outside, but they also have a really nice outdoor area with seating.

This restaurant, tucked away in an "alley" is moderately sized and well decorated. The service was great, our waiter was kind and offered good suggestions. I ordered an Aperol Spritz and enjoyed it. It was light & refreshing. The focaccia was warm & fresh. I ordered the mushroom pasta and I thought I was okay. I felt it was somewhat underwhelming. The portions are pretty large as well. Would come back and try another dish.

This is a beautiful restaurant with a bar and indoor and outdoor seating. The food is Italian and very authentic. The service is fast and they waiters are attentive and kind. I went for a party, which they had a beautiful setup outdoors. I ordered the focaccia bread for appetizer which was a must! Super delicious. Then the lasagna, I had a hard time choosing but that lasagna was the best! Super crunchy and all ingredients made in house. I will say it is pricey everything is around $20-$30 maybe a special occasion place but it's worth it. I took half the lasagna home.

We had reservations and were sat right away. From the start everyone was very welcome and the ambiance truly gave little Italy comfort. Every dish and wine was amazing. I will say my favorite dish was the vodka pasta, the pasta made in house made ALL the deference. The tiramisu was TO DIE FOR. My fiancé was absolutely obsessed as that's his favorite dessert item. Overall, I will definitely be returning and trying more items on their menu.

This place is a hidden gem in every sense of the phrase. Tucked down a softly lit alleyway, it honestly felt like I was shopping for something at Hogwarts just trying to find it. When we arrived, the place was absolutely packed--and this was a Thursday night. I've rarely seen a restaurant filled to the gills on a Thursday, but we quickly learned why. The hostess let us know there was no indoor seating available, but she could seat us on the patio. We were starving, didn't hesitate for a second, and said yes--cold night or not. Hunger always wins. She was very polite, walked us through the setup, and made us feel welcome right away. Julian--who I believe is the owner or general manager--came over personally to apologize for seating us outside. He had heaters moved closer to our table to make sure we were comfortable. That extra effort went a long way and really set the tone for the night. Above and beyond customer service. Our waiter was just as welcoming and attentive. I asked him what his favorite dish on the menu was, and without hesitation he said the lasagna. Funny enough, the hostess had mentioned it too. After ordering drinks, the entire table went all-in on the lasagna--and I can confidently say we made the right call. They brought out bread first--crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside, perfectly paired with oil and garlic. A simple touch, but an excellent preview of what was coming. Then the lasagnas arrived... and wow. These were massive, almost reminiscent of a shepherd's pie. There was a flaky, golden crust on top with cheese and garlic crisped to perfection. Turns out that flaky layer was actually the pasta itself, used as a topping--genius. It came out piping hot, and after the first bite I'm not exaggerating when I say this was the best lasagna I've ever had in my life. It wasn't overly cheesy, the sauce wasn't runny or overly thick--everything was perfectly balanced. Every bite was followed by a genuine moment of "holy shit, this is incredible." And here's the kicker: I'm not even a big lasagna fan. It's not my first, second, or even third choice at an Italian restaurant--but I'm so glad I listened. This felt like a five-star dining experience. If I lived closer, this would be a biweekly stop without question. I can only imagine how good the rest of the menu is, and every time I'm back in Fort Worth, this place will be on my must-visit list. 10 out of 10 across the board--food, service, atmosphere, and hospitality. We were also told they have a pizza joint opening soon, so keep your eyes open for that. Julian, thank you so much--it was absolutely amazing. Hidden gem doesn't even begin to cover it. Tucked down a lit alleyway like something out of Hogwarts, this Italian spot was PACKED on a Thursday night--and now I know why. No indoor seating, cold patio, didn't care. Hunger wins. Julian (owner/manager) went above and beyond, moving heaters and making us feel genuinely welcome. Service across the board was top-tier. Everyone recommended the lasagna... so the whole table ordered it. Best decision we made. Hands down the best lasagna I've ever had--perfect sauce, not overly cheesy, massive portions, and absolutely on point. And that's coming from someone who usually skips lasagna. And somehow, after all that, they still saved the knockout punch for dessert. We ordered the tiramisu, and it was absolutely decadent. Light, creamy, and airy with just a subtle hint of chocolate. The coffee flavor was perfectly balanced--not overpowering--and the biscuit had the ideal amount of crunch to tie it all together. Every bite felt intentional and refined. I could eat this every single day without hesitation. 10/10 food. 10/10 service. 10/10 experience. Every time I'm back in Fort Worth, I'm stoppin' in!

The food was good, the service was ok. The atmosphere is horrible. You can not hear anything. It is so loud I was yelling across a two person table. I could not hear my server, I could only hear super loud noise. We had headaches when we left. We will never go back there. We went hoping for a nice evening. For the prices you would think there would be some ambiance. If you call the bartender shaking martinis and the tables around so loud that you can hear their conversations, if you call yelling across the table to your wife so she can hear ambience then I guess it's loaded with it. I will post photos only because the food is good. But I would order it to go. There is no way this place is worth making a reservation at 8:45 on a Friday and having that much noise.

The noise level was extremely high...we literally had to yell just to have a conversation with each other. Service was also very slow. It took about 15 minutes just to be acknowledged at the bar, and close to 30 minutes to actually receive a drink. When I finally ordered, I told the bartender to make her favorite drink. She made something that included raw egg whites (which I later learned is common in certain cocktails), but it wasn't mentioned or explained at the time. A few hours later, I became very sick...vomiting and dealing with what felt like severe food poisoning all night and through the next 24 hours. After looking into it, I suspect it may have been related to the raw egg used in the drink. Just something to be aware of if you're ordering drinks like a whiskey sour or anything that may include egg whites. After getting our receipt (which you need for the speakeasy entry code), we checked out the speakeasy portion, but the vibe there wasn't great either..pretty must the same as the other part of the bar. We ended up leaving within about five minutes. Overall, the experience didn't live up to the hype for us....between the noise, long wait times, and how we were treated, it just wasn't enjoyable. For comparison, the bar next door, Archibald, felt much more welcoming. Maybe regulars have a different experience, but as first-time guests, we were not impressed.

But from the very first phone call, Sophie at Blackland Distillery showed nothing but grace and patience. She allowed us to keep pushing back our reservation without a hint of frustration, and that alone deserves a standing ovation. When we finally arrived, what could've been a ruined evening turned into one of the most memorable nights we've had. Every single person we encountered at Blackland was incredibly kind and welcoming. Marshall greeted us with warmth, and Jeremy? He's not just a bartender--he's a cocktail artist. The drinks he crafted for us were next-level, easily some of the best we've ever had. He truly understands spirits and how to elevate them. We were genuinely torn when it was time to leave for our dinner reservation at Wicked Butcher--honestly, we could've stayed sipping Jeremy's creations all night. Each one was exceptional--smooth, bold, and full of character. We poke our heads in (accidentally going through the exit door. the front door is well camouflaged) and just found a wonderful very chilled out bar. Haven't been to a speakeasy in a long time. It was dark lighting with ambient black lights and string lights to keep it dim but you wont struggle to see through. Music was not super loud and the chairs were incredibly comfortable and the whole place was laid out to just have drinks and lounge while talking with friends. No food, which is fine. You have plenty of options on the same block for that. This place is just for drinks and conversation. The seasonal menu was awesome. It iss a bar so they of course can make anything you request if you don't want a specialty cocktail. I got my favorite, a moscow mule but they had a brazilian mule on the specialty menu. I never had that before and ordered it on the spot. It was grapefruit vodka with lime, lots of fine pellett nugget ice (the really good kind) with ginger beer and condensed milk. My god it was great, they told me how they made it because i never saw milk added to this before. It was a delicious limeade that almost was slushy like, creamy and with tangy vodka. Plus they actually served it in a proper copper mug. Best mixed drink ive had period and a cool twist on my favorite standard moscow mule. The place is now going to become a frequent haunt for us. Its very laid back, relaxed, with fantastic ambiance. It doesn't get jammed packed and is not meant to get wild in. We went there around 7pm on a friday night with about 8 or so others already there with their drinks. It did pick up later with 15-20 people in there but still spacious and comfortable. It genuinely was just a nice bar to have drinks and conversations with friends. Nice music that isn't too loud so you can talk with normal voice levels. The bartenders we had were super nice and charismatic. The drinks were not expensive, a respectable 13 bucks for my mule. If you have a bill over 40 dollars they automatically add 20% gratuity to it so keep that in mind when you are tipping. And after 8pm everything had 20% gratuity added to the bill. But the service is so damn good that you will probably still want to tip on top of that anyways. I loved it so much i actually made a yelp account just to post a review. TLDR super cool speakeasy type joint, cool aesthetics and laundry theme. Not loud, good for drinks and chit chat, cool well crafted specialty cocktails that don't break the bank. Good bartenders. Good times. Cozy seats that encourage you to hang out and talk even with folks you haven't met before and dim without being dark lighting. Clean bathroom too and quick charismatic service. Hit this place up for sure even just for the novelty of it. It was a wonderful surprise bar for a date night. Pro tip for this area in general. all paid parking, some place validates some do not, i am unsure if they do here but there is paid parking right out front and also a paid lot literally across the street. But i don't even bother. About a block and a half away northeast is a big shopping complex with a target. i just park there for free and walk. its a short nice walk and doesn't cost 20 bucks.
