We had dinner here tonight with high hopes after reading the reviews. The food was fine - nothing special. However, our service was not great - very absent for most of our meal. Also, we don't mind a lively atmosphere but the noise level was very loud and disruptive.

We dined out on the patio with a large group and it was great. The service was wonderful, the patio is really comfortable. I even brought my pup, with no issue. The food was fantastic, as always. The portions were large and we all left full and happy. Overall, excellent experience, we will be back.

We were a walk in and although we were sat after 20min I absolutely do not recommend doing that. This restaurant is way smaller than I expected and in the winter months too cold to sit outside. Make a reservation! Outside of wait time etc. the pasta is DELICIOUS!!! We enjoy two pasta entrees that our waiter suggested and he didn't miss at all. Also, the Focacia bread and the meatballs ( not pictured ) were so good we ordered multiple. I feel so blessed to live so close because I can't wait to actually plan our next date night here.

The space is cozy and cute, service was sufficient and my Aperol spritz was pretty good. We had meatballs and focaccia for starters, lasagna and chicken pesto pasta. I enjoyed the appetizers, but was not particularly fond of the main courses. I don't believe I'd return.

Very solid Italian restaurant with some really good focaccia. It was cold the day we went so we didn't sit outside, but they also have a really nice outdoor area with seating.

This restaurant, tucked away in an "alley" is moderately sized and well decorated. The service was great, our waiter was kind and offered good suggestions. I ordered an Aperol Spritz and enjoyed it. It was light & refreshing. The focaccia was warm & fresh. I ordered the mushroom pasta and I thought I was okay. I felt it was somewhat underwhelming. The portions are pretty large as well. Would come back and try another dish.

The food was good, the service was ok. The atmosphere is horrible. You can not hear anything. It is so loud I was yelling across a two person table. I could not hear my server, I could only hear super loud noise. We had headaches when we left. We will never go back there. We went hoping for a nice evening. For the prices you would think there would be some ambiance. If you call the bartender shaking martinis and the tables around so loud that you can hear their conversations, if you call yelling across the table to your wife so she can hear ambience then I guess it's loaded with it. I will post photos only because the food is good. But I would order it to go. There is no way this place is worth making a reservation at 8:45 on a Friday and having that much noise.

This is a beautiful restaurant with a bar and indoor and outdoor seating. The food is Italian and very authentic. The service is fast and they waiters are attentive and kind. I went for a party, which they had a beautiful setup outdoors. I ordered the focaccia bread for appetizer which was a must! Super delicious. Then the lasagna, I had a hard time choosing but that lasagna was the best! Super crunchy and all ingredients made in house. I will say it is pricey everything is around $20-$30 maybe a special occasion place but it's worth it. I took half the lasagna home.

This place is a hidden gem in every sense of the phrase. Tucked down a softly lit alleyway, it honestly felt like I was shopping for something at Hogwarts just trying to find it. When we arrived, the place was absolutely packed--and this was a Thursday night. I've rarely seen a restaurant filled to the gills on a Thursday, but we quickly learned why. The hostess let us know there was no indoor seating available, but she could seat us on the patio. We were starving, didn't hesitate for a second, and said yes--cold night or not. Hunger always wins. She was very polite, walked us through the setup, and made us feel welcome right away. Julian--who I believe is the owner or general manager--came over personally to apologize for seating us outside. He had heaters moved closer to our table to make sure we were comfortable. That extra effort went a long way and really set the tone for the night. Above and beyond customer service. Our waiter was just as welcoming and attentive. I asked him what his favorite dish on the menu was, and without hesitation he said the lasagna. Funny enough, the hostess had mentioned it too. After ordering drinks, the entire table went all-in on the lasagna--and I can confidently say we made the right call. They brought out bread first--crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside, perfectly paired with oil and garlic. A simple touch, but an excellent preview of what was coming. Then the lasagnas arrived... and wow. These were massive, almost reminiscent of a shepherd's pie. There was a flaky, golden crust on top with cheese and garlic crisped to perfection. Turns out that flaky layer was actually the pasta itself, used as a topping--genius. It came out piping hot, and after the first bite I'm not exaggerating when I say this was the best lasagna I've ever had in my life. It wasn't overly cheesy, the sauce wasn't runny or overly thick--everything was perfectly balanced. Every bite was followed by a genuine moment of "holy shit, this is incredible." And here's the kicker: I'm not even a big lasagna fan. It's not my first, second, or even third choice at an Italian restaurant--but I'm so glad I listened. This felt like a five-star dining experience. If I lived closer, this would be a biweekly stop without question. I can only imagine how good the rest of the menu is, and every time I'm back in Fort Worth, this place will be on my must-visit list. 10 out of 10 across the board--food, service, atmosphere, and hospitality. We were also told they have a pizza joint opening soon, so keep your eyes open for that. Julian, thank you so much--it was absolutely amazing. Hidden gem doesn't even begin to cover it. Tucked down a lit alleyway like something out of Hogwarts, this Italian spot was PACKED on a Thursday night--and now I know why. No indoor seating, cold patio, didn't care. Hunger wins. Julian (owner/manager) went above and beyond, moving heaters and making us feel genuinely welcome. Service across the board was top-tier. Everyone recommended the lasagna... so the whole table ordered it. Best decision we made. Hands down the best lasagna I've ever had--perfect sauce, not overly cheesy, massive portions, and absolutely on point. And that's coming from someone who usually skips lasagna. And somehow, after all that, they still saved the knockout punch for dessert. We ordered the tiramisu, and it was absolutely decadent. Light, creamy, and airy with just a subtle hint of chocolate. The coffee flavor was perfectly balanced--not overpowering--and the biscuit had the ideal amount of crunch to tie it all together. Every bite felt intentional and refined. I could eat this every single day without hesitation. 10/10 food. 10/10 service. 10/10 experience. Every time I'm back in Fort Worth, I'm stoppin' in!

UNBELIEVABLE food and cool location!! I will try EVERYTHING on the menu eventually. Only thing missing is a Caesar salad.

Boyfriend and I went here for an early Valentine's Day dinner. We had been in the area to try another restaurant and when we walked past this one the smell was amazing, so we added it to our list for date night. Service was friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. The restaurant is pretty small, so I would definitely recommend making a reservation to ensure you get a table. We were definitely pleased with the food. The focaccia bread is a little more spongy than we are used to but was very tasty. The sauce with the meatballs is super yummy, although the texture was a little different. I definitely enjoyed the richness of the ravioli special of the day which was served in a brown butter sauce, and my boyfriend got the lasagna which he said was fantastic although the fact that the top layer is without sauce and is a giant baked noodle was a little odd, and he said the outer edges were slightly bitter. Overall, a great destination for a date night.

We had reservations and were sat right away. From the start everyone was very welcome and the ambiance truly gave little Italy comfort. Every dish and wine was amazing. I will say my favorite dish was the vodka pasta, the pasta made in house made ALL the deference. The tiramisu was TO DIE FOR. My fiancé was absolutely obsessed as that's his favorite dessert item. Overall, I will definitely be returning and trying more items on their menu.

Can't say enough great things about this magical little spot. Took my mom for her early birthday dinner while she was in town. We did two orders of focaccia, one is not enough. The ensalada, lasagna, and the pesto pasta. All were so perfect. Our waitress was also the bartender and she killed it. Thanks for making the night so special for my momma.

The noise level was extremely high...we literally had to yell just to have a conversation with each other. Service was also very slow. It took about 15 minutes just to be acknowledged at the bar, and close to 30 minutes to actually receive a drink. When I finally ordered, I told the bartender to make her favorite drink. She made something that included raw egg whites (which I later learned is common in certain cocktails), but it wasn't mentioned or explained at the time. A few hours later, I became very sick...vomiting and dealing with what felt like severe food poisoning all night and through the next 24 hours. After looking into it, I suspect it may have been related to the raw egg used in the drink. Just something to be aware of if you're ordering drinks like a whiskey sour or anything that may include egg whites. After getting our receipt (which you need for the speakeasy entry code), we checked out the speakeasy portion, but the vibe there wasn't great either..pretty must the same as the other part of the bar. We ended up leaving within about five minutes. Overall, the experience didn't live up to the hype for us....between the noise, long wait times, and how we were treated, it just wasn't enjoyable. For comparison, the bar next door, Archibald, felt much more welcoming. Maybe regulars have a different experience, but as first-time guests, we were not impressed.

But from the very first phone call, Sophie at Blackland Distillery showed nothing but grace and patience. She allowed us to keep pushing back our reservation without a hint of frustration, and that alone deserves a standing ovation. When we finally arrived, what could've been a ruined evening turned into one of the most memorable nights we've had. Every single person we encountered at Blackland was incredibly kind and welcoming. Marshall greeted us with warmth, and Jeremy? He's not just a bartender--he's a cocktail artist. The drinks he crafted for us were next-level, easily some of the best we've ever had. He truly understands spirits and how to elevate them. We were genuinely torn when it was time to leave for our dinner reservation at Wicked Butcher--honestly, we could've stayed sipping Jeremy's creations all night. Before we left, we got to meet Sophie in person (she stuck around!), and by that time, we had sampled every single spirit Blackland offers. Each one was exceptional--smooth, bold, and full of character. Take home message: Top-tier spirits, an amazing vibe, and a team that genuinely cares--Blackland Distillery turned a stressful day into an unforgettable celebration. We'll be back... and next time, we're staying all night.
