Super Beef - on onion roll!

I enjoyed a delicious Buffalo Chicken Pizza from Marias Pizzeria. I have to say it was the best pizza I have enjoyed in a long time. We also had the Super Beef on onion roll was perfect!

a piece of pie with a bite taken out of it

The food looked great, but the amount of oil is just flat out disgusting. I don't know if it was just a bad day, or if it's a usual thing for them to put that much oil. I had to throw it away after eating one slice (that mind you wasn't even cut) because it was just way too much oil.

    Gross ass shit.

Well let us start when I order my buffalo calzone, the chicken looks like and taste it like if it was taken out of a bag from a freezer, did not taste fresh or appear to be freshly made, the calzone got me very sick I had to go to the hospital from food poisoning!!!! I want my money back or ill contact the health department and I'll sue you AND ILL MAKE SURE THEY CLOSE THIS UNSANITARY PLACE, I have seen RATS around these place and out, the cooks or cashier or employees that work here seem to keep a hygiene.

This is their buffalo chicken pizza they have no clue how to make it never go here again

They have no clue how to make Buffalo chicken pizza on the menu it says buffalo chicken pizza with ranch they said you have to ask for it I never heard of that before I'm not impressed waste of a pizza everyone knows you put ranch on the pizza it even says it in the menu ‍

Amzing Food, and Friendly Service. Must Try!

We just stopped in to get a couple of slices and the pizza is delicious! Good Greek pizza. I'm surprised at the negative reviews.

They clearly use a lot of oil on the bottom of the pans they bake the pizzas in. If you don't like oil, this isn't the place for you. But we *loved* it. I also loved that the pizza toppings went to the edge. This made the vegan cheese crispy along the edges. This approach coupled with the thin (but not too thin) dough felt like Detroit-Neapolitan hybrid. It was the best of both. (And They do offer a Detroit pizza as well, which we will try in the future.) I like my sauce a bit sweeter than their red sauce, but this was only a minor issue. The toppings were high quality, especially the sautéed mushrooms. This place was absolutely worth the drive from Salem to Medford and we will be back. I was disappointed that they no longer make the Carl Called pizza that is listed on their website. It sounds amazing and I hope they bring it back. There are only 4 or so tables so we will avoid this place during peak hours. Alternatively we could order our pizza to go and find an outdoors spot to eat. The dining area was pretty toasty from the ovens. Today was a mild spring day, yet even with the door open, I was getting uncomfortably hot. They also do not have a bathroom for customers, so bear that in mind before visiting. I would love to see this place move to a larger space with more tables. The owner and his staff clearly are passionate about pizza and really know their craft.

We enjoyed the pizza. The sauce was a bit sour and some of the pepperonis were super burnt but other than that good amount of toppings. Definitely worth a try!

The peppers weren't spicy but added perfect acid to the whole pizza. The dough was amazing and it was flawlessly cooked (which for a true Napolitano pizza is a challenge) which is a good sign for any pizza from here. The wife had the Gnochetti which had the important trick of knowing to mix the gnocchi and the short rib into one amazing concoction. Trust me on this one. We closed with the Nutella pizza which I've had at numerous other restaurants and Ciao's was hands down the best ever. Make sure to save room for this... seriously. We really fell in love with Ciao! and will 100% be coming back the next time we're in town.

We found the folks here to be so welcoming and genuine in their desire to provide a delicious meal and experience. This is a small casual cafe with takeout service and a small eat in space and in good weather, outdoor seating, though limited. Excellent prompt service by the charming staffers. Four of us shared the Fungi pizza and the Margherita pizza. Both were delicious with a crisp thin crust and so fresh tasting. In addition we tried a plate of their Short Ribs which tasted homemade for sure. The menu also offered several pasta choices. The desserts shared were cannoli, tiramisu and a mousse. All delicious. This is a definite "return to" pizzeria.

Picked the Salsiccia pizza to split between us (and a poached pear and cannoli for dessert). First, the atmosphere is great! Inviting, with great views of Ball Square and the amazing pizza oven. The pizza arrived at the perfect temperature and quickly (we learned later that a pizza spends less than couple minutes in the oven due to how blisteringly hot it gets). Great flavor and composition to the pizza -- the sausage was extremely flavorful and there was just enough cheese. The dough is top notch, with just the right amount of chew! The poached pear and cannoli were excellent. Not too sweet with sufficient complexity. Very, very nice. My fiancé chatted with the staff and learned more about the location and the pizza oven (I mean, it's just too cool to not ask to see more closely). Great service, fantastic food. Will certainly return and I now feel remiss that we hadn't yet been.

The spicy sausage pizza was excellent, the dough is homemade and tastes incredibly fresh. The toppings are fresh as well, which really comes through in the flavor. It's a bit pricey, but that's fairly typical for the Boston area. Overall, we'd definitely recommend it. I believe they offer delivery, too.
