    Breakfast Poutine

Hubby and I went here the other day for breakfast, first time. Small, quaint, clean and friendly staff. I enjoyed the Breakfast Poutine, which was a decent portion of food and great flavor from the green chile. Hubby had the French Toast, nothing fancy. A little pricey ($14) for 2 slices of bread, butter and syrup.

Visiting from out of town and stopped by impromptu. The ambience is very low key local and comfortable. Service was great; very personable. The food......delicious, good portions for fair prices. I would definitely come back and recommend to anyone looking for a light or hearty breakfast. We might even comeback tomorrow on our way out of town!

Cran mimosa and breakfast quesadilla with egg, bacon and cheese. The adobo sauce on the right was AMAZING!

Very cute spot in downtown CoS! Our server went by "the guy with the great hair" and he was lovely! Attentive, kind and patient (since we went in with a 2yr old). We sat on the top level with a lovely view of DT. I ordered the breakfast bacon, egg and cheese quesadilla and it was delicious! The adobo sauce they have is amazing and made in house! I mentioned to the server that it should be bottled for retail. Thank you again, had a great experience!

Such a cute place. Staff were very friendly and service was great. The food was delicious and lots of it. Well priced. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Stopped in here after a trip down to do the Incline and we sure were satisfied! Staff was happy to make accommodations for GF. Everything was delicious. The coffee is SO good - from a local roaster too. Fun diner vibes too.

The Impossible burger is on gluten-free bread that looks like a hamburger bun, but it is actually a sweeter breakfast bread

Rating as someone who is looking for Gluten Free places to eat. They have options but i would not say that it's a lot. Some may say it is. But I am looking for 90% of menu GF and i just didn't feel like it met that. there is no GF Hamburger bun available they use some kind of breakfast bread which truly looks like a hamburger bun. However, the taste of it definitely taste like more of a breakfast bread. I think it has like a sweet taste to it so it kind of throws off your hamburger it's not entirely awful, but you can kind of tell again that it's not a hamburger bun just because of the taste. The fries are not fried in a separate fryer. However, the server did let us know that the only kind of things that are fried in there are not breaded. She mentioned that they fry some chilies in there, but it's not breaded and then mentioned some other things so we made the decision to have fries because it didn't sound like there was true cross contamination if the things put in the same fryer do not have gluten in it So the fries were really good. I would say 10 out of 10 on the fries. Our plate had very little fries, but that's OK. It was an OK portion I would say. They do have gluten-free French toast options so that was nice Maybe the gluten-free options are more under the breakfast menu Maybe I'm just disappointed that the hamburger didn't have real gluten-free hamburger bun ? I wouldn't say I would not come back. It's definitely not my top five of gluten-free places. I have been to restaurants were pretty much everything on the menu can be made gluten-free or is gluten-free and you're overwhelmed That's kind of what I'm looking for and I just didn't get that at this place Now, if you don't have celiac disease or if you're just gluten intolerant then this place might be just awesome ! Again, not that I wouldn't return. It would probably be in a couple years after I've tried other gluten-free places to see if it's at least in my top 10 It's definitely not gonna make my top 5 The staff was really nice. We got to sit outside. We weren't able to really see how the inside looks. However, some of my family members went in and said it looked really cool. I personally didn't go in there but from pictures it looks really cool. Kind of reminds me of the breakfast place snooze, with the more brighter colors anyways, I would say try it if you're not gluten intolerant or celiac disease I mean, tried either way, but I definitely believe there are a lot more places that are more gluten-free than this place

The service wasn't the greatest. They forgot to put in our order, and they rushed the food and then took another 20ish minutes before the food came out. The food was incredibly heavy, but that was out fault for ordering so many potato-based dishes. The poutine was a unique take, but I personally would've preferred a traditional poutine. The southwestern scramble was pretty good and had a nice balance of flavors. The huevos were fine, but not quite the flavor profile that we're used to. Wouldn't mind coming back to try their French toasts.

Food was flavorful. The sweet potato fries were good just a little burnt for my liking. Such nice and sweet customer service. The place is a vibe and cool

We sat at the bar and Colleen was our bartender, she was awesome! We had the egg egg rolls and they were delicious. We saw other people's food and everything looked yummy! The hot sauces were soo good! The atmosphere was fun with many antique toasters for decoration. I would recommend this place to anyone that likes breakfast food!

Great menu, lots of choices. Those serving you are attentive, friendly and helpful with the menu. I ordered a large breakfast which included 3eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns and a slice of french toast. The eggs were poached perfectly and the sausage was so good. If you like well done bacon you will love their preparation, I prefer bacon less well done so didn't eat much of it. The french toast had not soaked up the egg custard enough and was dry tbh. Syrup was imitation maple, still not a showstopper. What I didn't like was the rude manager seating people and making snarky comments about other guests. When you walk in the sign says wait to be seated. The manager barked at me when I walked in I'll be with you in a minute!! Other guests were not properly greeted either, left standing there wondering if they should walk in, leave or wait. Just didn't leave me with a warm fuzzy. If you don't like to serve the public, find another career.

Not on the menu any longer but can ask for it, apple Carmel pecan French toast

Came for brunch with our small pup and got a seat on the patio. It was so hot outside but I'm grateful for the awning keeping us shaded! The breakfast quesadilla and the breakfast tacos were both super delicious. The mimosas were great too! Would recommend!

Chefs kiss for their breakfast!!! The biscuits and gravy are legit!! I consider myself a connoisseur as I bake and make my own quite often and I was raised by a Dad that makes exceptional biscuits and gravy even over a campfire! (Go Dutch oven!). Usually breakfast places use the packet for their sausage gravy but not Burnt Toast!! Homemade milk gravy with stellar sausage, I'm sure that they used a little chicken broth for more flavor and the server says it starts with a roux with bacon grease. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!! Excellent service on a Sunday morning, smaller place with ambiance across the street from City Hall. It looks like their green Chile breakfasts are similarly excellent and we also ordered a yogurt parfait, very good!! I mulled over the avocado toast there was one with prosciutto, but still so glad to get the B&G

First off, I love, LOVED this place when it first opened and brought friend after friend there…read morebecause it is unique and fun, like walking into another era. However, the last time I went there (in 2024), we had a young man who was very rude serving us. He did not bring our drinks to us until one of us had to go ask him for our order! It seemed as though he may have been resentful, as our drinks were mediocre to bad - tasted like no alcohol - with hardly any volume...yet our bill - for only three drinks - was outlandishly high!! I was so disappointed and, frankly, embarrassed for District Elleven. How I wish I could have some kind of reassurance that this kind of thing would not happen again, so I would be moved to go back...the ambience gave me the best vibe being there, and that is an accomplishment in itself. A++ for ambience (and previously, also for drinks and food from next door); but now, F for service and drinks - so sad.

A Hidden Gem with Moody Vibes & Incredible Flavor…read more District Elleven is a total vibe--moody, modern, and tucked just off Tejon in downtown Colorado Springs. We stopped in on a Tuesday and were pleasantly surprised to find happy hour running from 4pm to close (yes, all night!). The Drink of the Week was a total standout--The Myagi Blossom, made with gin, Aperol, honey lavender, and lemon, topped with boba. Light, balanced, and not too sweet--just right. It was fun, creative, and refreshing. We sampled several small plates and honestly, they were more generous than expected. Highlights: the perfectly crispy arancini, the hummus plate (topped with caramelized onions and served with warm bread, carrots, and cucumbers--my personal favorite), patatas vovo (a delicious spin on a classic), and the artichoke de fritas, which were divine. For cocktails, the Sazerac had a bold nod to New Orleans--traditional with a whisper of absinthe that hit all the right notes. I ended the night with a dirty vodka martini served with blue cheese-stuffed olives--beautifully done. We also shared an affogato for dessert, which was the perfect finish. Service was also top-notch--our server handled both the bar and our table with ease, making us feel genuinely welcome and well cared for. This place is a gem. Whether you're just out for drinks or looking to graze and linger, District Elleven nails the ambiance, flavors, and hospitality. We'll definitely be back.

It is an underground restaurant that is dimly lit with Alice in the Wonderland themed decor, food, and drinks. The service was phenomenal. Really enjoyed the whole experience of this place (while visiting in August). Just walking down…read morethe stairs into the restaurant, i.e., "Rabbit Hole" set and increased my anticipation. What a fun idea! The ambiance is kind of both chill and yet lively depending on where you're sitting (bar or restaurant). The Alice-in-Wonderland decor, dim lighting and funky eye-opening paintings made it super fun. Our server was very attentive and our meal delicious. The goat cheese balls were a nice appetizer as was the herb crusted baked salmon and the chicken cordon bleu. I wouldn't sleep on their iteration of a "moon pie" either. It is an absolute MUST have! What is beyond WILD and now a bit hilarious is that I was so busy soaking it all in visually that I somehow missed the part about the building being a former morgue. I didn't learn that little fact until half way through my meal. Maybe that explains why none of my photos came out, or why they all came out looking crazy blurred :-/ All of those lost souls still roaming around there? What a concept! Definitely give it a try t if you're in the area.
