I'm giving 4 stars because I did not get to try "Pi"! I came here on a whim with my grandson after school for a bite to eat and so he could try the pie because he loves pie! This was a Wednesday late afternoon so it was empty. Service was great! It was a clean environment with outdoor seating which will definitely be nice come warmer weather! The fries are so yummy and their ranch! We both got pizza and both were really good! Unfortunately, we did not get any pie... We had to abruptly leave! I will be back again to try the pie and to try a few more things that I saw on the menu I would like to try!

Holy moly these were the best pies we have ever tried!!! Delicious, fresh made daily, and outstanding staff. They explained every pie to us and they were so many delicious options haha. Some pies can be heated up while others shouldn't. We did not order any food but that also looked great as other people around us ordered. Highly recommend to anyone! P.S- Their seasonal pie is the Rhubarb Pie only available for the summer!

I love this spot! I always try to stop by when I'm back visiting family in Colorado Springs. Their cluck and shrooms pot pie is cozy winter perfection, but I decided to try the new-ish steak hand pie with a side of brussel sprouts this time. It was delicious and paired perfectly with the blue cheese sauce! They had been cleared out of most sweet pies by the holiday rush, but their coconut pie is one of my favorites when it's in stock - almost cheesecake-like in texture. I think they're a little gem! I've had one visit where the pie was less fresh than usual, but every other time has been 10/10. You can order frozen pies to take home as well if you'd rather bake them at home!

The savory and sweet pies here are absolutely outstanding. My wife and I (and our three Whippets) visited for the first time today, and we were all blown away by the food. I had Julia's Child (beef bourguignon with mushrooms, carrots, onions, and bacon in red wine gravy). The pie crust was perfection, the beef tender and very plentiful, and the gravy was silky and rich; it was outstanding with the crust. My wife had the Southwest pie, which is green chili, black beans, onion, tomato, and roasted corn served with sour cream, superb. I highly recommend both pies. We had a side of Fried Brussels Sprouts, which were super-crispy, tossed in house-made honey mustard, and topped with crispy bacon. OMG! I'm usually lukewarm to rather cold toward Brussels sprouts, but this was an epiphany for me; this dish was so good I may have to order it every time I come here. Sweet and savory, crispy; my wife and I fought over the last bite. They make a larger portion to share as an appetizer. If you are not sure you like Brussels Sprouts, do try them here; you may become a convert, as I did. Service was excellent, and we sat on the nice outdoor patio with the dogs. Ended with a piece of Key Lime Pie, one of my favorites. The version here is outstanding, with a super-silky, not-too-sweet custard bursting with lime flavor over a delicate crust. WOW! Now it does get better! You can take home any of the savory pies, frozen and bake them yourself (instructions included). We took three other savory pies home with us to try. Our server, Karen, could not have been more engaging. This is really a hidden jewel in the area, well worth the drive down from Woodland Park.

Soooo good! The food was delicious, service was fast and the place was overall so pleasant and cozy. Reasonably priced and let us sit around forever to chat! Thanks for a lovely (and delicious) time! Definitely recommend

We couldn't have love this place more. My husband despises pot pies and was not excited about trying this place, but he was thanking me after we left. It was the ultimate comfort food. Everything we had was delicious.

The pies were delicious! I had the Rosemary's Baby (chicken pot pie), and my husband had the Julia's Child (beef bourguignon pot pie). They were both savory and had great flavor. I did think the Julia's Child was richer in flavor, and I do prefer beef over chicken on an average day. You can't go wrong with either pie. The mini dessert pies were also delicious and good crust. The service was top notch. Both people working in the dining area were friendly and made us feel super welcomed. The restaurant isn't big, but they have a variety of seating - regular tables, two person high tops, and bar seating. I can't wait to come back and try the Guiness Sakes (Irish stew pot pie).

Sweet & savory pies, say no more! We got 4 savory pies and the family loved each of them. The Tex Mex salad was absolutely amazing with so much flavor. We got the 4 small pies - Peppermint, PB, Rhuberry, and the Blueberry and each one was amazing. The blueberry tasted like a donut, but the peppermint was a favorite! Recommend getting a few to try. We cut them into quarters and it was enough for us 4.

This small, cute cafe is hidden away - FIND IT! Lots of people have found it already, and the tables filled up quickly inside. There's also a nice patio but it was too breezy today for the needed shade umbrellas. I was greeted and seated immediately and my drink order taken while I looked to the menus (sweet pies or savory, sides, salads, shareables, and sandwiches). After getting input from two or three of the staff, I decided to try the Julia's Child which is a Beef Bourguignon pot pie with a side of Honey Mustard Glazed Brussel Sprouts. Both were evilly delicious! Since I did not have enough room for a piece of pie after this wonderful lunch, I decided to order a slice to go. The server suggested I get the slice of pie in a box to go, but have it heated up so I could try a bite before I left. Great idea! I ordered a slice of the Amaretto Toasted Almond Cherry pie and it smelt so good, I immediately opened the box and took a bite. It was divine, but I could not eat another bite so I brought it home. I really look forward to bringing my husband here because he loves chicken pot pies, especially homemade ones which I cannot make. We will be back soon!

I had a delightful time here! My friend has been bragging about this place for a while, so was super excited to visit once I was in town. The place is a decent side and has a mix of table bar in high top seating. The staff was super friendly, and checked on us often. Parking is great, the restaurant is located in a small strip center. I visited during a weekday around dinner time. We tried the brussels sprouts (4/5) hand pies, Rosemarys baby (4/5) and, of course, the pie! Rosemarys baby had a golden brown and tender crust. The gravy and filling we're both great. I particularly really enjoyed the Key lime pie. It was a perfect blend of sweet and just the right amount of tartness. I should've taken a slice back with me! The brussels sprouts were also pretty tasty. I never thought about putting honey mustard on brussels sprouts, but it definitely works! If you're looking for a family friendly, no frills restaurant (with greats jams ) you've picked the right place. I'll definitely be back whenever I visit the area again!

Incredible. This place is so good. Super unique. The food is excellent. Service is wonderful. I can't wait to come back again and again

    Brussel Sprouts Shareable

Very impressed by this place. Nice and clean space, staff was very attentive and food was delicious. We had the Brussel Sprouts Shareable, Julias Child and Rosemary's baby. Each pie was perfectly seasoned. The crust was an amazingly crispy and flaky perfection.. I highly recommend this place.

    Do they have gluten free?

No! The number one reason we went once four years ago and I just went back with a friend. My significant other can't eat there, so although we dine out often, there's no gluten free meal except for a medium size salad that won't be a dinner for him

The last time I was there was just for drinks and dessert. The bartender made me a really bespoke drink for me that fit my dietary needs at the time and was delicious. The mountain view outside the windows was gorgeous. Based on the ambiance inside the restaurant, it looked like a more upscale restaurant, which is why I can understand the dress code, but the vibe seemed quite casual. And I was surprised at how kid-friendly it was! There were multiple people there with little children. Our waiter was nice and attentive. For appetizers, we ordered the Trout Rillettes and baby gem salad. The trout was very creamy and the salad was underwhelming for $16... it may look big in the photo because of the angle but it was small and it reminded me more of a wedge salad. For dinner, I had the Seared Salmon with crab fried rice, it was underwhelming for the price, and my husband had the Seared Red Snapper and said it was "too fishy". He didn't finish it. The kids entree, chicken tenders and fries, was a very generous portion and of course, she loved it. Overall, view was amazing, service was good, food was underwhelming for the price.

To access patrons must be brought to the park entrance by a bus run by the park. At the park entrance a 3 $20.00+/- must be purchased and the patron can walk through the park on a paved path or go by electric vehicle to the restaurant (bus and electric vehicle are handicap equipped and provided at no additional cost). The distance from park entrance to the restaurant is about.8 miles ant the scenery is jaw dropping. The park is in a box canyon with sheer walls of between 500 feet and 950 feet and the whole path is through a mature forest with astr running along side. Once at the restaurant youwill find a taste fully furnished restaurant in the mountain retreat style an outdoor covered patio ant the base of the 7 falls. Guests may use elevator to ascend to an observation deck built into the cliff or ascend by stairs along the falls. The restaurant itself serves upscale food for both lunch and dinner. Meal price varies between about 20 dollars per person and 90 dollars per person including beverages and desert. The food is ordered lactate. The staff from mattered to wait staff is outstanding! Many are repeat foreign people from English speaking countries who are trained and very what to provide excellent service. My dining experience from a food service standpoint was not up to Broadmore standards it was in some cases served cold under cooked and missing menu noted ingredients. All unacceptable food was replaced with B other menu items there was a satisfactory bill adjustment and we were provided complementary desserts. I attribute the deficient food quality to kitchen personnel still being trained to resort standards and a one time issue. B sat other times including my 1973 honeymoon I have received excellent food service and memorable meals. N I will not hesitate to return and encourage others to enjoy a terrific resort park experience and hopefully Broadmore level properly prepared menu items. Although the menu descriptions were appetizing Since I unfortunately suffered from the preparation matters discussed I decided not to comment on the menu. Bill G

We were looking for an outdoor activity that showcased some of the beauty of Colorado along with a meal. Seven Falls and Restaurant 1858 appeared to fit that bill perfectly. The location is stunning. The falls and surrounding areas are gorgeous. It's a nice little physically activity on the way to your meal that allows you to enjoy the outdoors while still being accessible to people of varying ages and fitness levels. I looked at the menu before choosing to come here and was prepared for a large bill with the high prices. The pictures looked phenomenal, and I don't mind paying a high price for the beautiful setting and a delicious meal. But the food was mediocre at best. We ordered the charred brussel sprouts, which appeared steamed or baked and then lidded, with no char or crisp at all. We also got the bacon wrapped shrimp and nachos, which were decent. Kind of insane for $30 for 4 shrimp, but they tasted OK. My daughter ordered the steak and frites, and said it tasted weird. My husband and I tried a bite and it was rancid. The potatoes that came with this steak were the best thing on the table, to be honest. Beautifully crispy and perfectly seasoned. They took the steak back and removed it from the bill, but quite a disappointment. Everyone else's meals were OK, no one was enthusiastic about their dishes, from the hot honey chicken sandwich to the Canyon Bowl. We were hoping none of us would feel any repercussions from the steak that has gone bad. The person who has the Canyon Bowl with pork ended up violently ill for 24 hours beginning 12 hours after consumption. We could blame it on other things they ate, but this was the only thing that they alone ate, and no one else was ill. Considering the condition of the steak, perhaps the refrigeration had gone down for a time? I'm not sure what happened there, but for the price, I really had higher hopes for the meal. If the meal had been a better experience, this is a place we would add to our list of must-do's for out of town guests, but we won't be back, sadly. Side note - You do have to take a shuttle from the parking lot to the entrance to the Seven Falls park, and you do have to pay for entry to the Seven Falls park to access the restaurant. We arrived an hour before our reservation time, as they suggested, and were still 15 minutes late for our reservation, so make sure you allow maybe 1.5 hours.
