We have our "go to" Indian take out but decided to try something new for Mother's Day. Ordered uber eats so I have no information on the restaurant appearance. Delivery was quick so I would say service is good. Food was good. It didn't have the layers of flavors and spices that we are used to. I would call it average. The saag paneer was very different from what we are used to eating. It was an ok dinner and we may have to try and eat there. Maybe we will get a different opinion when eating in. read more

It's a very cozy and lovely place to eat. Service was very good. The waiter recommended we try the Chicken Seek Kabab Masala, which was delicious! We also got the shrimp biriyani and that was ok and had good flavors. But the kebab was the star. As an Indian, I went with medium spicy to be safe (every restaurant is different), and it wasn't spicy at all BUT I'd rather have flavorful food than spice for the sake of it. Also, seeing this neighborhood, I would assume most of their regulars would find it spicy, so they're definitely catering to non-Indians and I respect that. Business, you know. Before Marigold, was Tapas, I had craving for Indian food with hot spices , been a while, the Malaysian restaurant closed down on Garth, will be a rotisserie joint. I hollaed at the Mrs. If she was down for some spicy food. So spicy it is! I placed the ordered for pick up , by the time I arrived , order was ready for grab & go. Their food did not disappoint my taste buds, I make sure some dishes were Spicy Hot. So hot my sinus cleared up. No complaint on my side, every thing was made well and cooked right. We had a lovely experience for lunch at Marigold; cricket matches on the television, warm service from the owner and staff, and absolutely delicious food. We were particularly impressed with the bone-in lamb chops (tender and mid-rare, perfectly seasoned), as well as the chicken saag. Our son loved the biryani, which was prepared to the taste of an 11 year old (mild spice, a request that we were grateful to them for accommodating!). Wonderful aesthetics and the nice indian music gives a lovely ambiance to dine indoors. the service was very sweet the staff looks out and is very kind. i liked it a lot. the food is totally awesome perfectly spiced and seasoned to perfection. i got chicken biryani, lamb vindaloo, and naan rosemary garlic. it was absolutely delightful and im looking forward to going again. finished off with dessert mango pannacotta was so good i wish there was more it finished too fast 10/10 A++ best indian restaurant in the whole town! read more

It was a good meal, but just not as good as it used to be. Truly miss their best server, Ashoo (?), too! Seems it took a sharp downward dive in his absence. The current host seems aloof and dismissive, certainly not the warmth and charm this place use to have. The staff, although demonstrating effort, can't seem to get anything right- even water refills are a challenge. Wish I read the Health Department violations before dining here. I dined at this restaurant on 11/30/2025 for lunch with my family. The food by Ravi was excellent. I had the appetizers: chili chicken, Mango Coconut Shrimp, corn were tasty. The lunch: chicken tikka, chicken saag, channa bhatura, baingan Sarson Saag, Dessert: gulab jamun and kulfi. The spiced mango mocktail hit the spot. The service was excellent . Indian with an Italian flair is how I would describe this place. Lots of traditional items on the menu and some appetizers that have an Italian twist. Beautifully decorated and laid out inside with attentive wait staff. Food was great too. Tried the chaat, eggplant and skewered chicken appetizers. My highest recommendation: Aachari Chicken Tikka (appetizer) - I think I'll order a double portion for a main next time! I ordered takeout from the restaurant through Uber. The food came quick so the service must be good. I can't comment on the ambiance of the restaurant but I was very disappointed by the food. The paneer makhani was watered down with color that stained my fingers. They literally added curry powder to spice it up but didn't make it a traditional paneer makhani. We were warmly welcomed by the owner to this gem of a place on Christmas Day '25. We wanted the Indian members of our family to enjoy a good Indian meal after indulging in our xmas traditions. The waitstaff is gracious and took time to explain ingredients & help us make selections. We also had some GF requests in our party and they accommodated us. The food was excellent! My wife and I visited this restaurant for our anniversary for the first time. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the owner himself greeted us warmly and ensured our comfort throughout our meal. My wife, who is South Asian, ordered the chicken biryani. While many places she has tried struggle to make her type of like, this one excelled. She thoroughly enjoyed her dish and couldn't even finish it all, so she ended up taking it home. I opted for the buttered chicken. I thoroughly enjoyed it as well, the sauce was excellent so when I was done with my rice ( which comes with the order ) I used the Naan to dip into the sauce. The Naan by the way, was cooked to perfection with a nice crisp. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant and comforting. However, it was quite busy, which might be a drawback if you're looking for a quieter dining experience. It's not a large restaurant, so you won't be able to escape the noise, but it's not uncomfortable either. Our waiter was friendly and even gave us recommendations. He was a gentleman with glasses whose name I can't remember. My apologies for the oversight. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. We came across MARIGOLD last minute and by fluke but we loved it. While we were there, it seemed to have a small but steady stream of what appeared to be locals. The mango lassi was amazing. So much so we all had a second mango lassi. The food was very good and we would go again. read more

Service left much to be desired our waiter was ummmm maybe a little arrogant. Not friendly nor welcoming. They spoke in a way that felt a little condescending???? We were there on a Tuesday so it was not crowded at all. There were maybe 2 other parties seated one was a large group and seemed like maybe they knew someone or that they were themselves "someones" the chef or owner came out and chatted with them at length....
