This is the closest Chinese restaurant closest to home. And they are QUICK! I placed my order online. The food was ready before I got there, and before the advised time frame. I have been a loyal customer to this restaurant since i moved to the area in 2005. I have always had decent food there until a month ago when I ordered orange Chicken right before closing. I should have known better at ordering right before closing because what we received were leftovers. We thru it away and the next day i called to complain. We left Lucky's Chinese Restaurant in October because of prices rising (I understand that Covid caused issues- but raising them that much?) and were hoping to find a good choice. We didn't. My "fried" pot stickers were anything but fried- more like a boiled blob; The Wonton Soup was absolutely bland. My wife's spareribs were over cooked, and her rice not cooked long enough. This is the first time I have had it. Fried rice good but they didn't get my order right, I said no onions. They loaded onions in the fried rice. I can say though there onions were okay but I don't like onions still. The general Tso chicken was really good. The Hunan shrimp was nasty and fishy tasting. There was no Hunan taste at all. Worse ever, honestly. The fried wontons were good at first but about the 4th one.... It was not cooked all the way. It was gross and that ended the mean. So since this wash first time I wanted to try my favorites. After spending 32.00 including tip, I am not going there again. So let me start off by saying They Have Theeee best Chinese wings I just love them! My go to spot everyday while I was in nursing school at Bryant & Stratton ( SIDE NOTE DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL!! Teaching is one of the many things they do not do). Now I wish their egg drop soup had more flavor or should I just say had flavor lol. I will say it's best to give them numbers or be VERY clear -- we prefer to go in and wait for the order than call ahead since we tried that once and they got our order WAY wrong. Went here instead of Fuwah like we usually do, and that was honestly a mistake. We were the only ones there but they definitely rushed to get our food to us to get us out of there. The Bean Curd Szechuan Style was actually really sad and very bland. My partner was so upset about it that they felt the money spent on it was a total waste. I had their egg foo young today with the white rice and I was very satisfied with my food. I stopped eating Chinese food from another place because whatever they were putting in the rice and in their food in general would bring me serious stomach pain and it would taste funny. But the food that I had today from Wah Wah's tasted great and didn't taste funny at all and it didn't upset my stomach. I will definitely be buying food from here again! I've been going here for years... and loved it but just had the fried rice there recently and it tasted like the grease was old... egg rolls were not cooked all the way and greasy.... gravy that goes with the egg foo young was lumpy, sadly disappointed at the end of the meal. We tried Wah Wah based on other Yelp reviews. We were disappointed. While not bad, our experience was not a good one either. We ordered two dishes and were upset to find that one was 80% or more onion as filler and the other was mostly celery.
