The captain makes sure everyone has the best chance to find fish while the deckhands seem to enjoy some unspoken battle amongst themselves to see who can be the most helpful! You will never go without bait. Rods & reels provided for the whole family. Even if you bring your own gear, they have it so dialed in from the rod size to the reel capacity to the line diameter to the oz & hook sizes! Respectfully leave your gear home. It's worth the $5-$10 to let them do it. Then after you fill your cooler, they gladly clean your catch to your liking (dressed or filleted)

For $100, they'll bring you out from 6:30am-2:30pm, provide the pole, hook, jig, and explain everything you need to know. If you caught a fish, they provided buckets, and at they ends they gutted your fish for you. Everyone working on the boat was very genuine, really helpful, and wanted us to have a great time. In the middle of June you're looking for Bluefish, porgy, striped bass, and fluke. We went on a new moon, and apparently on new moons and full moons, the gravity shift changes the current and makes fishing more difficult. Long story short, we didn't catch a lot, but we had a great experience. They also gave us extra fish to bring home which was really nice. If you're in NYC and want to go fishing, this is an accessible spot to go!

There's parking available upon arrival. There's seating alongside the body of water. There's various activities available to do here including walking, taking a seat to overlook the water or people-watch, picnic, BBQ or grill, fishing, and running or jogging. The area is definitely kept clean. There's plenty of trash cans available here as well. I'm looking forward to returning here for some more relaxation.

That is why it is called fishing and not catching. I done very well every time on this boat. Your even see me on his website pictures of the great fishing. We were given bait by Ian and were set up to succeed. Whenever we caught a fish, Ian or Frank would come right over and help us unhook and either keep it or throw it back(small or shark). If we broke line or lost a weight or hook, either man would quickly get us ready again with a new setup. Whatever fish we were able to keep, Frank filleted for us right on the boat.
