We called 911 and a fleet of cops came knocking on our door in less than two minutes. They were quick to react, immediately advised me to get on my Cerberus tracking app, and stayed with me until the thieves were apprehended. They kept asking me if I was ok and when my adrenaline went down an hour later, they even apologized for the brute and cold way they first spoke to me. (I was like, DUDE you guys are doing your job, I'm not offended that you didn't coddle me, LOL. Apologizing was not necessary at all.) Detective Michelle Reyes was so sweet, extremely professional, and gladly answered all my questions about the case afterward. The police technicians did take a really long time to finish fingerprinting my phone and miscellaneous items (they said it'd take 2-3 days... it ended up taking 17 days lol) but hey, I'm just glad they recovered all my stolen items in the first place. Had to go here to fix some legal paper work. You do have to go through a detector like at the airport. Then to check in you use a kiosk (see photo) and you get a number letter like "C301." But they are not printed consecutively so you need to pay attention or check the monitors for what numbers have been called. The people there are very friendly and helpful. I have been there twice now and both times the people have been very helpful because legal paperwork can be confusing. Since you have to go, not a bad option.

I appreciate that while we are in an pandemic that ASU has their library open for students to…read morestudy. As a seasoned adult, I do not appreciate these two Aid's. They were harassing us, having others monitor us, mocking us and waving along with talking loudly about us at the front desk and then at one point came into our study room threatening us they were going to kick us out of the library. I understand they are enforcing the mask requirement, however, we were in our on study room, door closed and didn't leave the room. The first time they came in, they told us we were required to wear masks, so we put them on. The second time she came in, I had just taken a drink and was pulling my mask back up and my study partner was doing teach-back on our topic so her mask had fallen slightly past her nose, that's when we got the lecture on pulling our masks up all the way and if we weren't going to be compliant then they reserved the right to kick us out. They were hyper-focused on us during their rounds that I didn't see them acknowledge three other students that weren't wearing masks at all. Diligence is one thing and I get they have been told to ensure students are wearing masks. However, today what I experienced from these two was harassment.

I did not have a toll transponder with me and there is no staffed booth where you can pay cash at the time. So I expected a bill in the mail. The bill arrived and it was paid by the same credit card I used for the rental. $1.60 for Tuesday's two tolls. Plus $4.95 service charge. $2.60 for Wednesday's two tolls. Plus $4.95 service charge. $1.60 for Thursday's two tolls. Plus $4.95 service change. $0.54 for Friday's one toll. Plus $4.95 service charge. Total of $6.34 for the tolls and $19.80 for the fees. It's a good thing this is "work" money because three parts "fee" to one part "expense" might be upsetting. Don't like it?
