    Blanco Pizza

Why 5 stars? Because the meal, as a whole, was exactly what I was hoping for. --- --- --- Despite the fact that I had stuffed my face for lunch and vowed never to eat again, I started feeling those hunger temptations around 6pm. I had wanted to check out Marini's for quite some time, and it seemed like it would really hit the spot at a moment like this. I couldn't resist the opportunity to try out the blanco pizza. It looked the best according to the menu and the photos on Yelp. I really enjoyed it, but I will say, it was pretty rich, so I felt like I couldn't eat that much of it. When I checked in on Yelp upon arriving, an offer popped up for free garlic knots. Since they were free and I had considered ordering them anyway, I couldn't resist. This ended up being a great decision because the marinara dipping sauce was a way to nicely mix it up with the white pizza. My wife ordered a supreme submarini, which I only tried two bites of, but I thought it was awesome, as did the wife. Lastly, we grabbed a chocolate cake and a turtle cheesecake. I didn't try the chocolate, but the wife enjoyed it. The turtle cheesecake was fine, but I was regretting not ordering the limoncello. Rounding up from 4.5 stars to 5 here to support a nice, family business. I will definitely come back in the future!

We ordered Marini's delivery. The food is not bad but a little pricey for what you get. The crust was very chewy on the New York Style pizza but the toppings tasted good.

We just moved to Walden so this was the first time we had ordered from Marino Pizza. The pizza was average at best. For $20 pizza that was small would be better than most this one wasn't. Sad I really had high hopes. Service was so just ok to below average. The staff was too busy kidding around other than interacting with customers. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting only if staff were present it may have been better. We probably wouldn't go back didn't feel we got our money's worth.

Perfect place to get pizza if you've been out on the lake all day or just need a dinner in. The classic pepperoni pizza was delicious. I would pass on the chicken wings, they looked good with good flavor but unfortunately they were not cooked well. They needed to be more crispy. The service was great and everyone was so nice.

Pizza, sandwiches, wings, pasta. Looks good

It gives everything a cozy, charming feel with a lot of character. Parking, though, can be tricky. It's limited, and if you're wearing heels, the rocky ground and steep hill can make it a bit of a challenge when the lot fills up. We had reservations but arrived a little early, and they were able to seat us without an issue. Service was solid overall. The staff was quick to let us know what items were unavailable, which helped with decision-making. I did notice a dish being served that wasn't on the menu, and when I asked about it, we found out it was a seafood and noodle special. Two of us decided to try it. For food, we started with the sautéed garlic ricotta appetizer, which was a standout. It had a really nice balance of mild sweetness and savory flavor. The eggplant parmesan was huge and easily shareable between two people, with great flavor throughout. Honestly, most of the portions felt big enough to split. I ordered the seafood special, and while the flavor was decent, the shrimp were consistently overcooked and chewy, which made it hard to enjoy. The mussels were the highlight of the dish, though they reminded me of the frozen kind you can heat up at home. Overall, it was an okay experience. Not somewhere I'd go out of my way to recommend, but if it were the only option in town, I'd consider going back.

Ere's is also one of the few restaurants open in La Grange at 8 p.m. on a Saturday night, making it a convenient option after a full day of activities. The garlic knots were fresh, warm, and delicious, although I was expecting a stronger garlic flavor. Don't forget to order the marinara sauce or garlic oil for dipping! The Caprese salad was fresh and refreshing, and the grilled chicken was simple, well-cooked, and satisfying. Overall, Ere's was a dependable choice for takeout. The food traveled well, and it was a convenient option for a late dinner when many other restaurants had already closed.

Everything was favorful, and cooked just right. I loved being able to try different pastas and sauces in one meal. The portions were generous, and I definitely left full and happy. The staff made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in, and the atmosphere had that comfortable, authentic Italian feel that makes you want to sit back and enjoy your meal rather than rush through it. As someone just passing through town, this was one of those places I'd happily make a return trip for. If you're visiting or local and love good Italian food, the pasta combo is absolutely worth ordering. It felt like a homemade meal served by friends.
