The cheese steaks and other subs and Hoagies are terrific. Appetizers like breaded mushrooms and poppers, wings all great. Seafood is fine. But their Marinara Sauce is the best I've had. The Meatball and other parm meals come with salad, bread and the portions are large and more than filling. And you don't just get two meatballs, there are a plethora. We shared a decent grilled vegetable sub. The salad was fresh and came with a delicious creamy and tangy Italian dressing. Our server was friendly and efficient. But if you're not a fan of Fox "News," don't go out of your way to patronize this place. The controversial right wing channel was playing on a large screen TV in the small room and spewed a constant drone of nasty commentary. I give this place 2 stars because their pizza is ok if you are stuck in this area and you really want it. They are over priced and stupid when you order, cd food by time you get it and you end up getting at least one thing messed up. The real skinny on M&F. It is very inconsistant. I order from here about 7 times a month as they deliver to my job. You can order the same meal and get it 5 different ways. I order a chicken cheesesteak and half the time thwey give you grilled chicken hardly chopped. When you do get a real chicken cheesesteak it is very good. The wings also are hit or miss. I guess it depends which day you order and what day the get fresh supplies. The plain pizza is pretty bland even with toppings, but if you order a specialty pizza they are loaded and tasty. Would give a 0 star review but it only lets you put a 1 start. We have ordered from here many time because we live 0.3 miles from the restaurant and it would seem to be convenient. However it seems every time we order here, it for some reason seems like they have to fly it in from overseas. Just this last time alone on Monday 23 September 2019 it took 1hr 18min to get a large pepperoni pizza and a salad 0.3mi from the restaurant. This is also basically the same service we have received every time as of lately. The customer service here is trash and they deliver cold pizza every time. This pizza place is a freaking joke and the people who run it must be idiots because they can't even get a pizza less than a half mile from them in under an hour. I could of ordered dominos or something and drove to it several times in the time it took this trash a$& pizza place to make one pizza that wasn't that good and completely cold. This place is the worst. I ordered from Mario and Franks for the first time last night. After an hour and half wait for the delivery it finally arrived, after a phone call to check the status of the delivery. The food was cold and needed to be reheated. The food tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. We ordered the sampler from the appetizer menu and 12 wings...... One COLD mozzarella stick, and a bunch of COLD fries and four COLD onion rings was the sampler. The 12 COLD wings had very little BBQ sauce on them. The worst place ever. Terrible service and very rude. Order $40 of food waited 3 hours, called to see what was going on and they said its on the way. Food never came so called and they wouldn't answer my calls so I drove over there to see what the problem was. The owner was very rude and I demanded a refund which took about 20 minutes and he also called me a lair. This isn't the first time they took me money and didn't deliver the food. I've been driving by this place for the past 10 years and decided to stop to try it out. I've only had the pizza and their cheesesteak. The pizza is top notch and the same for the cheesesteak. I read a review on here saying the cheesesteak was just ok. The one I had was delicious. I had it with provolone, fried onions, hot peppers, ketchup and a little mayo. They open at 3:00 on a Sunday, I'd suggest you don't call until at least 3:30 if you want your food in the 20/25 minute time frame given. This was my first time at this Mario and Franks, I've always gone to the one in Fieldsboro but I was a little more south today then normal. What I asked for is not what I took home, when I asked one of the workers if everything was in the bag, Yes, I trusted his answer instead of looking for myself (fail) it wasn't. The good and the bad. The food is good. Very good actually. I like it much better than that other place in downtown Florence that the hardcore Florence-ites go to. The bad.... delivery. Visited last night for dinner. Staff changed channel for us to watch the NBA finals. Chicken fra diavolo was excellent. Chicken parmigiana was also excellent. Salads were very fresh. Went in there alone with a toddler at 6 pm on a Friday and ordered 2 plain slices. 30 minutes later, we walked out. Food never came. everyone who came in after us got served dinners and sandwhiches. There were 3 pizzas right behind the counter waiting for customers to order slices. I don't understand why no one gave us our food. I went one other time, and we got our slices, but our drinks never came. After we were done eating, I waited 40 minutes, then tracked someone down for the check. Then, it took another 15 minutes to figure out how to give us our check. I never did get the check, I left $10 and left the restaurant. I will never go back. read more

I saw a review about local 15 year old waitress....They usually hire local school kids who want to work and get a start in their work career. My order got messed up, which should have been a simple thing to fix. but what spun it out of control is when the cook or the person who took the order started yelling at me on the phone shouting "I know what you said", " "don't tell me, I heard you" when I was simply pointing out what I specifically asked for. So i ordered delivery which took over an hour and i live right down the street, i odered the shrimp asparagus and i got a call saying they didnt have any asparagus so i opted for brocolli and mushroom and ended up charging me an extra $2 youd think they wouldnt charge me extra given they didnt even have the right ingredients, the salad that came with dinner was decent but the dinner is supposed to come with garlic bread i got regular bread was not happy about that, wanted to order desert they dont have any, and my shrimp pasta was drowned in sauce like they dumped a gallon of sauce in there disgusting, paid $30 for that meal, if your going to charge $30 for dinner at least get it right, and maybe train the person that answeres yoylur phone a little better, very rude. Location looks sketchy on the outside, but we decided to try it anyways. Interior was much nicer. Came here for a Philly Cheese Steak. Waitress was helpful, and the cook said good bye to us. The food was okay. They gave us some bread to start with, which was delicious. We ordered the garlic knots as an appetizer which could have been cooked a few more minutes. Stay away!! This place is awful! If you want delicious food, quick/friendly service, and quality food you are looking at the wrong restaurant. I waited over 3 hours for my food(which I called 1 1/2 hrs into my wait to cancel my order to which the owner replied he would not refund me.) The owner said he would call the driver to find out where they were. Apparently, the driver was in a "very small fender bender" and is only "one block away from your house." 15 mins later I received a call from the driver who stated they were on route 130 in Florence and didn't know how to get to Burlington! After my food arrived finally I was appalled to see my stuffed shells contained large chunks of meat. I am a vegetarian. Now seriously upset I called back only to have to argue with the owner with him stating "you need to be more clear when you order your food." What?! I specifically stated this dish needed to be meat free! After more arguing he then offered to make a new one but said I must come get it! I was in disbelief at how obnoxious this man was. Needless to say 4 hrs later I still haven't ate. Should have listened to others to steer clear of this place. My "salad" was old bruised romaine with ONE grape tomato and two slices of cucumber.
