We contracted with Mario to paint our home. Mario came over and provided an estimate on the spot and came over the day before to do paint samples on our wall, so we can choose the paint color. The estimate was very reasonable. His crew was punctual, on-time, cleaned up every day. They used Home Depot paint (used Behr paint, which I like as the power isn't overwhelming, which I really like), and couldn't be happier. They did two coats of paint in each wall (7 rooms and stairwell and hallways), taped up everything, moved the existing furniture around. In addition to the painting of the inside of my home, they also put moldings in the dining room, and boxed in the hole where the family room tv was and remounted the tv back. I highly recommend Mario for any paint job! Will hire him soon to do the exterior of my home next year! read more

The dispatch team tells you one thing and the painters do another. For example, "it will take us 2 days to paint these 2 rooms". when the painters show up 7 hours late they tell you the same thing and then only finish 1 coat on 4/5 of the 1st room. We had to call the office to check if they were coming multiple times after we took off work to be available at the scheduled time of 8am. Each time we called the office they would tell us "they will be there at 12", then at 1 we called and they said 2... the painters showed up at 3:15 promptly with no apologies or explanation. We will never be using this company again. As they seem to have a major communication and customer service issue. They deserve 0/5 stars read more

I didn't have a great experience with this company. They seemed very disconnected during the estimate part of the process, and it took a week to get an estimate, which I understand because they may be busy. However, I am typically notified if the estimate will be delayed because of backlog. Once I got the estimate, I responded with some questions, ready to kick off some projects and I never heard from them again. I ended chosing another company that was more professional and communicated well, but I was disapointed with this. read more

We needed to paint the exterior of our home and it was very difficult to get the attention of the paiting company we have used in the past. I contacted Mario Brothers after my neighbor recommended them, Mario came and gave us a very reasonable quote. We did have an issue with the scheduling but at the end he was able to squeeze me in before it got too cold to do the job. I also needed a couple of small projects like fixing some drywall in the garage and replacing a marble threshold in my master bathroom and Mario sent me a team right away. My neighbors used this company this week. On Tuesday I go to water my plants and cannot find my hose or sprayer on the side of my house. It's gone. I'm thinking for two days someone stole it. Come to find out we find it yesterday in the backyard of my neighbors house by the porch where the painters were painting. I guess they took it upon themselves to take it off our house, use it while they were over there painting and then not even have the common courtesy to put it back. The sprayer is covered in white paint. The black stretchy hose has been ripped so we no longer can use it. What the hell is wrong with your employees to think they can come onto MY PROPERTY and take my belongings and then destroy them. I'm so upset and disgusted right now. Your company needs to replace my belongings. read more

OK. The good: The workers were diligent. Did a good job laying laminate flooring. The price was reasonable. The bad: They don't protect your property or clean up well. They left paint all over the brick and the windows at my house even though I emailed the owner and asked them to come back and clean it up, they didn't. The tile re-grouting was shoddy and they didn't seal it. My husband ended up doing that since at some point we had to actually use the darn shower. Scheduling is horrible. Getting them to show up was frustrating. It took 3 trys! If they had just returned to clean up their mess I might have used them again but ignoring a complaint entirely is just unprofessional. read more

Slothful and sloppy. This was the third time I have used them and the last. The degradation of service was apparent and disappointing.

I needed a couple of walls painted in my living room, and some touch-up work done in the hallway. I read some reviews online and decided to get a quote from two local companies. My wife was impressed with Mario Brother's and their ideas/suggestions to the work being requested. The price was very reasonable and their work performance exceeded my expectations. I was able to schedule them to perform the work within the same week of getting the quote. The two gentleman who came to paint went above and beyond the duties asked of them. Mario Brothers painted the interior of my parent's condo so I could put in on the market. They did a fantastic job! Every surface had to be touched - the walls, ceiling, doors and trim. Mario Romero gave me a few paint color choices, we picked a Sherwin Williams color - Drift of Mist - that Mario said was on trend and thought would look good in the space. He was right too! The estimate he sent me was detailed as to how much each room would cost, what paint he would use and where, and how much time it would take. It was a reasonable price for the amount of work that had to be done. His crew was on time, courteous, professional, didn't spill a drop of paint, and did what they said they would do. They even painted some bookcases for me. They also used Epoxy paint on the garage floor which looks really good. I was hesitant about contacting this company due to previous reviews, but my co-worker recommended them, so....Mr. Mario came on time to see what needed to be done & gave me his prices right then which I liked. However, when it came time to schedule the work, they never showed up on the days they said they would come. When I called to inquire, I was told someone would come in the afternoon to wash my deck & that they would start the other work the next day. Neither of which happened. Mario has been doing work for us for the last 15 years and has never disappointed. Yesterday, his team completed a project of power washing our 2 porches and deck and they look amazing. We tried to do this ourselves and could not get them clean. His team has painted our home both inside and out and has always been excellent, cleaned up perfectly, and was prompt. I would never hire these people again. I was given a price to redo my kitchen and in the end, I ended up paying way more because Mario quoted wrong and lied. The guys did a sloppy job in the kitchen and Mario never came back to look at the kitchen to make sure it was all done correctly. Never again!! read more

Had me fill out paperwork and said someone would call me with a price and date to start the landscaping work. Never heard from the guy again. I hired Mario Brothers Painting to repair my portico where the upper columns (made of wood) started to suffer the effects of weather. I agreed to have the replacement columns on top of the portico made of synthetic materials. The columns looked fine when done but the new damage the laborers created left a lasting effect. They failed to install vents or a system for the water to drain. The effects of these structural issues arose immediately and had a progressive nature as a result of their lack of construction skills. Within a few weeks I notified Mario the paint has started to bubble up and separate from the underlying surface. He sent the same crew to scrape and repaint. They looked bewildered because they KNEW they did NOT have the training to correctly fix the issues THEY created. Again, within a few weeks the painted bubbled and separated. I sent Mario a text. He never responded. Life took over, some time passed, and the portico just decayed in multiple areas before my eyes. I have had both a roofing company and a home repair service assess the portico. Each concluded the same thing: Mario Brothers employees put holes in the existing roofing material, installed flashing improperly, and gave the water no egress from the portico roof. I recently notified Mario again. He has done nothing to follow up or correct the new and more far reaching damage. read more
