First off I'm giving them a 5 because of the fact that they offer taco pizza I used to get it from guarinos pizza religiously before they closed down but I do have suggestions for the pizza because it could be better cheddar cheese instead of American the sauce is too spicy throws off everything else on the pizza and they need to add sour cream and nacho chips to the pizza otherwise it's good but again I won't complain because they offer this pizza in the first place I have not found it anywhere else in Suffolk read more

We have used Mario's private room for 3 different family events within the last year. We keep coming back because the food is amazing, the room is beautiful, and John is wonderful to work with! John is so kind and attentive to all the details to help the event run smoothly. They are very accommodating to provide gluten free meals, which are delicious and huge portions! Samantha is also very helpful in taking drink orders and making sure everyone is taken care of. I'd like to begin to say I am ususally very satisfied with Mario's and love their specialty slices and I am willing to pay almost $5.00 because they are so good and large! This place is excellent! I have been to their location in Huntington as well, but this is close by where I work so I frequent this location. I am impressed that they always have Caesar salad slices available. Very smart move considering many other pizzerias do not offer this regularly around the area, and I know because I've checked! Their Chicken Milanese slice is also delicious. I like the fact that they have a self serve soda machine, another feature that other places do not usually offer unless it's fast food. The selection of specialty slices is incredible, and the service is extremely friendly, prompt, and kind. They have recently expanded so it shows they are doing well. I have not yet had dinner in this restaurant, but next time I go out for a sit down dinner I intend to visit Marios. Great work guys! read more

Amazing resteraunt!! With the lockdown going on my family and I have been trying to order out once a week to get a chance of cuisine. I had actually called yesterday not realizing that you had shifted from your regular store hours and a very nice gentlemen had answered, if I'm not mistaken his name was John, and he very kindly told me that the pizzeria had closed and cooking staff had left otherwise he would have done something but he very kindly asked me to call again tomorrow and he'd personally take care of the order. We ended up ordering somewhere else for that evening but then come today I decided to do two takeouts for the week because of how kind and sweet he was and he truly kept his word and took care of my order very nicely. I totally forgot to add a greek salad to my order and a women had answered and I knew it was closing time but requested if it'd be possible last minute to add anything and she was so sweet and said of course no worries. I believe in customer service and I truly command your staff for being kind and professional during these tough times! Overall my experience was amazing and the food tasted delicious!! read more

Really good pizza. I ordered it online and paid with my credit card, so when I go to pick up my order the lady try's to charge me again and I keep having to explain that it's already paid for. Went there the other day to get pizza. I had the BBQ Pulled Pork and Chicken Parm sliced. The Pulled pork slice was unbelievable....The Chicken Parm was solid. Definitely consider getting the BBQ pulled pork slice next time you are in if they have it. read more

RUDE! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! WHEN CASHIER HEARD MY 3 MONTH OLD SON CRYING SHE SAID..AND I QUOTE" HE'S NOT MY CHILD, IT'S NOT MY FAULT YOU HAVE A CHILD AND HE'S CRYING!" Went in there yesterday with my daughter and 3 month old son, there was one person ahead of me in line, so naturally I stood behind that person, then another cashier/staff person by the name of Deena or Diana (can't remember exactly) walked up to the counter, ignored us and started helping someone else who walked in the door. Okay, maybe she didn't see us standing there, I guess it wasn't obvious that we needed assistance (being that I had a stroller with me and all! humph)...then she proceeded to help someone else. I walked over to her and said, excuse me, we were here first and just saw you serving two people that came after us. She made no apologies, the phone rang she picked it up and began taking this person's order right in front of me. When I said excuse me, can you help us my son is crying and we've been waiting, she said the above quote " 'he's not my child, it's not my fault you have a child and he's crying!" I couldn't believe she said this! She was very rude, not courteous and I will never go back to this Mario's Pizzeria. My 3 month old son continued to cry, and she kept on taking the person's order on the phone, there was no "I'm sorry for your wait, or I'll be right with you", she was just RUDE! read more

Terrible service and with an attitude nonetheless. Went in there to grab a quick slice to go for lunch. You'd think I asked for a whole pie! The girl at the counter was not nice at all. I saw the slice go in the oven, didn't look so great, but I figured Im on my lunch break and have to run back to work, so whatever. Well after waiting 10 mins. a woman walked in after me - asked for the same thing, yet got her slice in 2 mins. and walked out before me. Needless to say, I was not happy. I got my money back and spent my money across the street at La Scala, which in my opinion is MUCH better than Mario's anyway. I will never make the mistake of make a left turn instead of a right. I am a huge pizza fanatic and I was recommended this place by a couple friends. Their slices were nice size, and tasty (although not cheap about $2.50 w/ no toppings). The sauce was really good in my opinion. The crust was really thin and crispy. The only thing I thought was lacking was the cheese/spices. I found them to be slightly bland, but it certainly did not take away from the awesome sauce and crust. I'd definitely eat here again and I will probably try their Sicilian next time to see if it stacks up as well. read more

Ordering several times a week for an office filled with picky eaters, and we can always count on finding something for everyone from Mario's menu. Their selection of salads is great, and they are always fresh and tasty. Ordering is always easy, and accurate - delivery guys are great characters, very friendly and extra helpful. Their food quality & portions are consistently the same, and have many delicious dishes that we often modify. Our office goes crazy over the soft garlic knots, and the Drunken Grandma pizza. Orders are accurate and delivery is fast. The best Italian place in the area and will continue to order from them for our office. Catering packages are also very fitting for the needs of the office, and they are very flexible with any possible modifications. Good solid choice. We walked in to order take out. Pizza was thin crust and delicious. We would have preferred it a little on the crispier side so if we go again will ask for it to be a little 'well done'. Buffalo wings are of the breaded variety but deep fried and crispy. Tasty sauce not at all hot though. Antipasto had good toppings but was full of iceberg lettuce so a little disappointing in that respect. Was in Hauppauge visiting for work and needed to eat. Found this place near my hotel and decided to give them a try. Glad I did! This place is hit or miss. Pizza is always good- especially the veggie, buffalo chicken and alamo slices. It's the salads that prevent a 4-star rating. I order lunch from here at least 6 times a month. Lately the salads have been on the small side. They seem fixated on 4 olives only for the Greek salad, which is fine, except for the times when the olives are the size of an M&M. That has been the case for the past couple of months (not sure why the olives are so small all of a sudden). Then I think they should throw in a couple more. A couple of times, the lettuce was starting to go by the time it made its way into my salad. The price of a salad here is $2-$3 less than other places, but I've started ordering salads from another place because of these reasons. I'll stay with the pizza from now on- that is almost always excellent. read more

Really surprised that their large pizza is only 16" and not 18 like every other place. We thought they sent us a small pie. Funny thing is when you go to the restaurant all the pizza's on the shelf are 18". We called and complained but they acted like they had no idea what we were talking about. We also ordered a small lasagna. It had ONE noodle in it and the rest was meat, sauce and cheese. Really Mario's $10.00 for one noodle? Tasted awful too. Pizza was not bad though. Good pizza, am from Connecticut where pizza is dime a dozen where few fare as 'good' Their buffalo chicken pizza is great! just remember to order the blue cheese also or you get none. We just moved to Commack from a town that had no delivery service. I got their menu in the mail. We ordered last night. WOW! I ordered the Chicken Marsala and my husband got penne ala vodka with grilled chicken. We got delivery. It was on time and perfect. I originally asked.for the Chicken Marsala to come with steamed veggies (only choice was pasta), I ordered the veggies on the side. Well, I figured I'd get the chicken Marsala with mandatory side of pasta with a marinara sauce. NOPE!!! The pasta was under the chicken in the Marsala sauce! So psyched! The reason this has 4 stars instead of 5 is that it needed alot more mushrooms. (More shrooms please!) My husband liked his dish, penne vodka/chicken. I thought it could've used a little more sauce. So, to conclude: more mushrooms (I loved the fact it wasn't too buttery or salty!), more sauce. We will be repeat customers. Very nice delivery guy. Spot on timing. read more
