The restaurant was quiet when we came in but a few more entered after we were seated. For $12, you can get a soup or salad and a half panini or hero. I opted for the tortellini brodo and the eggplant parm. I mean, the amount of tortellini in the soup was a bit weak. The stracciatella or salad may be a better bang for your buck. However, the broth was good and baby girl liked it. The eggplant parm was also very tasty. Service was warm and friendly. The worst service ever! I placed an order for pick up and was told to pick it up in twenty minutes. Once I arrived the order wasnt ready after twenty-seven minutes of myself arriving for pick up. Then the order is sitting in the counter and im just standing waiting there instead of them having common sense and see thag people are waiting for food. All they need to do is ask who order what to keep the food pick up moving along. I arrived home and I get A loaf of bread on top of a take out food catching bacteria. How unprofessional! The table service here is usually very good with kind, accommodating experienced waitresses. My most recent visit not so. The food we received was good but came sporadically. The food we never received was asked about several times over the course of an hour (telling us it was coming and being made fresh) and after that hour (by that time we were done and were ready to go) we were told an error in preparation had occurred and would you like to come back for it later. The inside has a lot of sitting space so if you want to do a nice family style meal this is a good spot- the servings are also very fair so it's perfect to pick different things and share. This is a great joint. The pizza is on target with a selection of favorites. The menu meets all categories of meats, sauces and pastas. Servers are polite and attentive too. Out of all of the Gino's this one is my favorite. Their marinara sauce is divine but my last visit I went with a salad and some grilled salmon. They have a delicious lunch menu. All of the dressings are top notch and homemade, I've had their Caesar, lemon vinaigrette, and Mediterranean dressing, all awesome. Portions are huge, and the staff are really sweet. read more

In addition to doing a pretty brisk walk in business from last minute shoppers like me, they were also filling TONS of party platter orders. Their menu looks awesome, and judging by the wonderful two slices I "inhaled," they really deserve all the heavy traffic they seem to get. My go-to lunch spot! Whether you stop in for a bite or order lunch for the office, you won't be disappointed. Their specialty slices are to die for! The bbq chicken, chicken bacon ranch, white slice and vodka slice are my go-tos. The office is obsessed with them and every time I say I'm ordering lunch they ask if I'm ordering pizza from ginos! I heard rumors that Gino's had vegan pizza by the slice and when I looked at their menu online, I did see a delicious vegan personal pie with pesto, which would have been great, too, but we were in a rush and I just wanted a slice, so took the chance that we could walk in and grab/go. Gino's has both a counter area for a quick slice and a sit down area with full service. We walked into a place with familiar good pizza vibes, large, bright and clean. When I spied a sign indicating "vegan" over two generous slices topped with broccoli, cherry tomatoes and squash, I got giddy and ordered both. When I saw how huge the slices were, though, I changed my mind and got only one. Oh, the regrets. I had a few. This slice is perfection. The crust is thin, but thick enough to afford a satisfying crunch with every bite (so much so, that my non vegan boyfriend who had just scarfed down a sub at Jersey Mike's was getting envious). The pizza is loaded with Daiya cheese, so you get those decadent pizza feels, but oh, there are those healthy veggies on top, too. Now if they were to add vegan sausage or pepperoni, we might really get into the best kinda inner fat kid trouble (hey, we all want that once in a while!) There is a casual seating area on the take out side, but as that area was crawling with a couple of unruly children, we opted to sit at the bar, which was a pretty swell experience. I even had a glass of sangria. All of the staff here were nice, and the friendly bartender took good care of us, even if were only there about 20 minutes. I left with a great impression of Gino's. Their pizza on the other hand, damn, also not great, at least not their gluten free ones. I've ordered their gluten free pies many times and it's soggy, the crust is floppy, it's just not what you want. It's not what I want at least. I get their Limone salad which is arugula, feta, cous cous, avocado, with lemon and olive oil dressing and I add grilled chicken. It's just alright. When I went in, the guy behind the counter told me they did $10 bottles of wine and asked if I wanted one and I said, "Sir, yes." So I did that combo, total came to around $35. So the salad was around $25, INSANE. Anyways. I did that several times over the course of 6 months or so. Then one night I came in for the same combo and I was charged $55. $55 for a salad and a bottle of wine, the $10 bottle of wine. I paid without thinking and when I got in my car I was like WTF? So I went back in and said I think you might have overcharged me for the wine. They said they don't do that deal anymore. Maybe something you should tell your repeat customers? Maybe that's just me. Had a great experience here! Chicken francese was AMAZING! Not too lemony or bland. Perfect balance of acidity and perfect sauce thickness. The vodka sauce was to die for ! Welcome Gino's to the Commack area. It was our 2nd visit since they opened. Our 1st visit was a week or two after it opened & everything was delicious 4. Only negative was the Sangria was totally watered down from ice. It would of been 4 today for taste & Service Today we decided to try the fish & pizza with the drunken riceballs. Pizza & riceballs were delicious. My husband had the Salmon which they perfectly prepared for him & my son had the Penne w/Chicken Parm. Which he enjoyed. I ordered the Branzino which came out much later than they served my family which would of been fine if it was perfectly prepared. It was supposed to Be Piccata but it came out plain & had several bones in it. They then brought me the Piccata sauce in a bowl and they expected me to dunk the fish. At that stage I found the fish uneatable. I told the waitress who Informed management. Manager's response was Bronzino is prepared in parchment paper & do sometimes have bones. For $38.00 tell me that your not capable of deboning a fish before you served it to me. Taking $20 off was an insult since I left without eating my meal and supposedly it was fine not to have the meal properly prepared. I would never order that dish again. We will be back but the way they handled the matter was wrong. read more

Pleasantly surprised by this little place. Went here for lunch with my family during a busy day and we sat outside! We all ordered a panini/wrap from the lunch menu which is very well priced. I got the Avocado Panini and it was very tasty. The avocado was nice and fresh. The service was a little slow considering the place was empty but I would definitely still return! read more

Yooooo Gino's...looking out for me and helping me gain my COVID-19 lbs, haha.. have ordered from here and dined in a bunch of times. They are your typical neighborhood pizzeria with flair.. they offer dine in service which is obv cancelled at this point,however, they are still delivering ! I must have ordered ten chicken parm dinners and they're always sooo good.. chicken never overcooked like every other place skeptical about when to take their chicken out of the oven, so annoying.... ordered chicken francese dinner last night with a salad and chicken parm with a side of penne ala vodka and melted mozz. Amazing! It came in like 20 min and was hot, literally scoffed it down in 30seconds.. would Rec asking for extra marinara for the parm but I have no complaints about the actual food itself. I've passed by here on my many runs to Trader Joe's, and figured it was just another pizzeria in the area. Came to dine in one night and was shocked at the beautiful bar and really nicely decorated large dining room! Their menu boasts many options, and a nice wine menu- was able to get a glass of delicious Sauvignon Blanc. Yes, the pizza is yummy, but definitely check out their entrees and specials. My favorites were the Sea Bass with Mussels, Clams, and Shrimp, and the Rigatoni Fiorentina, and definitely check out the baked wings to start. They have zucchini noodles and gluten free pizza as well for those who need alternative options. We had wonderful service as well! Will definitely be back! read more

So disappointed in the new staff. We order from here on a weekly basis, but not anymore. We placed an order on a Thursday night for a pie & a few rolls. We were told to give them 30-40 min. No problem. 10 min after placing the order we called and asked if they can add pepperoni to the pie. The girl who answered was a pleasure and told us not a problem. A few minutes later they called us back and said the pie is ready and waiting and can't add pepperoni. We told them it can't be ours order we just placed it and we're told 30-40 min. They put us on hold, a lady picks up the phone and says is this the line that has a "fucking problem" I don't know what's changed but more and more people have told me of their disappointment. There are more than enough pizzerias in the neighborhood to dine and not have to deal with such behavior. read more

One of the best Italian places in Commack. I went here on my last birthday and 2020. I was having a terrible birthday to say the least. Our waitress was so sweet and when she found out it was my birthday she gave me a piece of rainbow cake that said happy birthday in Carmel on the plate and it made my day so much better. I wish I could tell her how much that meant to me after having such a bad day. All the staff here are so nice and the atmosphere is amazing I really recommend this restaurant if you want to have a good time with your family! read more

So we shopped at Trader Joe's and found out about the small print after we went in. The food was just okay. The egg plant parm was not hot, the spaghetti was beyond el dante and the chicken parm with vodka sauce was good, but the vodka sauce was tastless. the food is pretty good but the prices are insane. we just called to order an 18" vegan pizza with 3 toppings and were told it is FORTY DOLLARS. when we mentioned this is not the price reflected in the menu or online (which was 10 dollars less), they said its "different when you call." i have never heard of a forty dollar pizza pie in my life. we cancelled our order, obviously. they did not care to honor the prices on their own website. what is the point of carrying a vegan alternative if it's so ridiculously priced? :( read more
