Chai was solid, like every other chai. Service was kind, very friendly when letting us know they were about to close. A neat thing they do here is they make small centerpieces with propagated plants that you can buy, which is very cute and creative - my friend bought a plant. Cute and quick service!

I've been here before but decided to try some new things! This is a small cafe, and your order can take a while to come out. The cashier was super friendly and helpful as I placed my order. I was super impressed with my sandwich- the pretzel bun had a nice bite to it and went perfectly with the creamy mozzarella and pesto chicken! I also thought the drink (seasonal) was really balanced, and I could taste all the different components. Space can be limited since it gets quite busy, so I definitely recommend grabbing a table if you can!

I will always love any business associated with Paul of Chez Henri. The owners of this business will go down in the Cambridge foodie history. They serve DELICIOUS house made foods. There is no table service, but you can grab a free table after ordering at the counter. I highly recommend them for breakfast or brunch if you're in Central Square. Parking in the area is awful, so take the T, walk, or bike for best results.

Came by on a Saturday morning and the place was decently busy, but the wait wasn't long to place an order and get something to go. Nothing in the baked goods section was labeled, but the cashier was kind and patient as she answered any questions I had about the various pastries. Ordering was quick and easy while the wait for my drink and muffin was pretty fast. Both items were pretty solid taste wise and I found them to be good deals for their prices. I would definitely come by again perhaps to try some of their other baked goods or to sit down and have a proper brunch. Very close to the heart of Central, Mariposa is a great spot for coffee and breakfast. Thanks!

Loved the ambiance! Great place to do work or relax. My blackberry lime scone and strawberry matcha were both super tasty too.

Lovely little cafe with a great selection of baked goods, including various flavors of scones, cookies, muffins and bagels. To be honest this place is pretty underrated. They have indoor and outdoor seating, which is especially nice!

So cute and friendly! Mariposa has been here for 18 years, and I can't believe I never walked in here before! I got a latte with sesame milk. While not my favorite, I appreciated the innovative menu item. Such a cute spot also to get some work done.

If you like a classic egg McMuffin, this is that but 10x better - Sam-I-Am, (4/5): after we tried the other to-go orders... we decided to try more. this tasted so good fresh, and the garlicky greens were a bit wet, but added a nice punchier flavor I would 100% come back here again, and I left with 2 types of English muffins (original and jalapeño corn) and they were GREAT. A simple cream cheese or salted butter spread, toasted is great. The texture is what sets it apart from other English muffins. I wish they lasted longer in the pantry. The shelf life is around 4-5 days, but then the solution would be to just have a constant shipment of them. Problem solved ;^)

The place was extremely busy yet well organized as they were pushing orders out efficiently and in a timely manner without sacrificing the quality of the product. I ordered the iced maple latte and the G.O.A.T. with the addition of bacon on their classic English muffin. The latte was very good. The breakfast sandwich was also delicious. The egg was cooked a little bit more than I would've liked, but the bacon was cooked perfectly, the goat cheese butter added richness, the pesto was fresh and their house made English muffins are excellent. It's obvious that they use great quality ingredients for everything they make. It's also not crazy expensive which is also a plus. It's a little bit out of the way for me, but if I'm ever around Union Square again I'll make a point to return!

This one didn't have a long line that I knew their North End location would certainly be marked by. On our first visit, we tried a plain cannoli to have a baseline of what to expect. We also tried a pistachio macaron. On the second visit, we tried a red velvet whoopie pie and a pistachio cannoli. The cannoli's are fire. The shell is thick, crispy and they hold up. They're stuffed with sweet creamy ricotta. It's a perfect pairing of soft cream and a hard shell. This location had a few bar seats available at the window and against the wall. There's a huge window of sweet treats on display. I definitely recommend visiting, try a cannoli and get something to go. They have everything from lobster tails to Boston cream pie. I think it would take someone with a lot of will power to come here and walk out without getting something.

Mike's Pastry in Cambridge brings the famous North End bakery experience to Harvard Square, making…read moreit easy to enjoy their iconic pastries without heading into downtown Boston. Located on Dunster Street, the shop is designed for efficiency, with a straightforward layout that keeps the line moving even during busy hours. There are a few counter seats inside, but it's primarily a grab-and-go destination where most people leave carrying one of the bakery's signature string-tied pastry boxes. The cannolis are the main reason to visit, and they certainly live up to their reputation in terms of size. The classic chocolate chip cannoli is generously filled from end to end with a rich, sweet ricotta cream, while the crisp shell provides just the right amount of crunch. If you're looking for something a little different, the Florentine cannoli is an excellent choice. Its honey-nut shell adds an extra layer of texture and a subtle caramelized flavor that pairs beautifully with the creamy filling. Beyond the cannolis, the bakery offers an impressive selection of Italian pastries, cookies, cakes, and other desserts. The lobster tails are another popular option, with flaky layers surrounding a rich cream filling, and the display cases are filled with enough variety to make it difficult to choose just one item. Prices are a bit higher than your average neighborhood bakery, but the portions are generous enough that many pastries can easily be shared. Service is quick and efficient, with staff focused on keeping the line moving throughout the day. Since seating is limited, it's worth taking your pastries to nearby Harvard Yard or the Charles River, where you can enjoy them at a more relaxed pace. Mike's Pastry may be best known for its North End flagship, but the Cambridge location delivers the same oversized cannolis and classic Italian desserts in a much more convenient setting. Whether you're craving the original chocolate chip cannoli or one of their many other pastries, it's an easy stop whenever you're spending time around Harvard Square.

I bought the banana cream for a work event and a few minis to take home for me and my hubby. The banana cream was good-admittedly, it was more on the sweeter side than I expected. I really enjoyed the crust - it wasn't too buttery and cooked perfectly. It was def a hit. My hubby and I enjoyed sampling the blueberry, apple, and cherry crumble. Of the three, the apple was my favorite which actually surprised me. The blueberry was OK, not as sweet as I would have liked - opposite of the banana cream. And the cherry was perfectly tart-I really appreciated the crumble. All in all, I will def be back. Can't wait to follow their social media to see what the monthly specials are.
