Loads if shrimp and flavor. You can't lose with this one.

The best shrimp ceviche around! Yes...the...best. Trust me. The food truck's specialty is cold seafood items. The ceviche wins! It comes in a styrofoam cup loaded with shrimp, avocado, onion, cilantro, and tomatoes. It tastes great. And you get a lot for what you pay. Dude is not stingy with the shrimp or flavor. I hope to try the tacos one day...soon.

Large campechana, shrimp taco and a Sidral Mundet. Hands down THE BEST!

My go-to here is the large campechana, a shrimp taco and a Sidral Mundet. PERFECTION is the best way to describe the food and vibe here. It's a no-frills-just-bangin'-good-food kinda spot. Pull up, order, stuff your face while you stand at the truck. Bonus points for having ice cold Mexican Coke's! This is a seafood staple in L.A., don't sleep!

"All roads lead to Boyle Heights" This unassuming food truck is discreetly tucked away in a shady street you'd expect to be featured on the evening news for anything but a mind blowing coctel campechana. The little old dude behind the counter (aka "professor") is truly an artist.. His canvas: a styrofoam cup. The masterpiece: a perfect ratio/blend of crab, oyster, octopus(pulpo), shrimp, seasoning, lime/lemon, etc.. that needs absolutely no tampering from a novice like me to enjoy. Oh yea, the ceviche is pretty dang good too!

This is the picture of their tostada mixta.

I love their tostadas mixta. They have fast service. The mariscos are fresh. Their tostadas are so good and fresh. It's a light meal. I will keep coming here for the tostadas. I totally recommend them. They're serving time is quick. The ceviche taste good too.

Another great mom and pop food truck that I'm glad i tried out and supported! Friendly, easy on the wallet, and more importantly, excellent Mariscos! My wife and I had a tostada de ceviche, a fish taco, and 2 sodas for $7.00... Great place for a quick lunch!

Authentic Colima style in East Los Angeles.

We waited patiently for about 10 minutes because we assumed he might be busy. Since he still didn't respond, we decided to just leave. What made the situation worse was that as soon as we stepped away, he immediately helped the person behind us. That felt very disrespectful, especially since we had been patient the whole time and were not rude at all. It's really disappointing because we actually love the tacos here. They're estilo Jalisco, which is where we're from, so we were excited to eat here. Unfortunately, the bad service alone was enough to ruin the experience. Very disappointing, and we won't be returning.

The people here are very friendly and helpful. And there's some apple seating area, especially since it wasn't super busy. I did come on a late weekday night though. Of course I ordered the pezcuesos de pollo. The price were very reasonable. I got it to go because I was on my way home. And they neatly packaged everything with plenty of the extras like salsa and toppings. I definitely wanna come back and try their other tacos here or other menu items.

The shrimp was plump and flavorful. What amped up the flavor was the salsa on top which was super flavorful and fresh and not too salty for me. I also liked the creamy avocado on top. This is a food truck, but they actually have a designated indoor seating with ample tables and chairs and even bathrooms! Parking is street parking. Mariscos Jaliscos is a simple, humble and easy going food truck that easily beats any sit in boujee restaurant. Their menu is simple and easy to understand. Mariscos Jalisco is best known for their Fried shrimp tacos however, they have one of the best aguachiles I've tasted hands down. Their shrimp tacos are absolutely amazing with the right crunchiness and soft fried shrimp inside. The sauce that comes with these tacos are jam packed with flavor adding to the overall flavors/texture of the shrimp taco. Hurts to say it but this might be my new favorite shrimp taco in ELA/Boyle Heights area. The service here is quick and friendly. I went on a Friday afternoon and did not find busy crowds at this food truck. Street parking is available and the times that i've visited other food trucks nearby i was able to find quick parking. Its a busy street so you will find people coming in and out of parking spots most of the time. I enjoyed my experience here at Mariscos Jalisco and will be coming back very soon. As mentioned by other Yelper(s), this taco trunk can be found parked in front of the LAC USC Medical Center building. In fact, I remember seeing more than 1 trucks available, but this white Buenos Tacos (easy to remember) truck is the only one that opens late and on the weekend. But please don't quote me on this. They offer tacos, quesadias, burritos, and tortas, but I am only interested in tacos usually. Regular tacos cost $1.25 each, while tacos de lengua cost $1.50 each. I recommend opting for regular ones, as you can get 4 for $5, no change, no mess. I am not even sure why lengua costs more, or if lengua actually tastes better. Shrug. I got cabeza and pastor to go. The cook was very speedy in cooking, and packed everything in foil for me to keep them warm. Limes was cut up and put in a separate bag for convenience. Both tasted very good! Now, if you cannot handle spicy, you may wanna let him know ahead of time, because after eating all 4, my eyes and nose were runny, and my oral cavity in general was burning. It's a delicious kinda burn, but I could do without it. I also enjoyed the toppings such as cilantro, onion, etc. Get everything on it. I didn't regret it at all for doing so! Specifically, cabeza was visibly more fatty but I liked it that way--it was super yummy. Pastor in comparison was drier, but still very well marinated. They tasted good enough, and were cheap enough, for me to come back and try for more. I'll update you guys if I ever buy their other options: azada, chorizo, pollo, and buche. (Btw, all spelling is per menu on the truck. Some look kinda funky, but I don't speak Spanish, so what do I know.)
