CASH ONLY. Front staff taking orders (for take out) has very limited English but should be able to help you, there is a huge menu on table with pictures that you can point at if needed. Social media brought me here and I'm unsure if I would come back again due to personal experience. If a friend wants to come by I wouldn't object to it but I wouldn't make my way out here on my own. Food was good but no wow factor, skip to the bottom for food description. My fluently Spanish speaking friend called in the order to avoid us waiting too long. I went to pick it up with different friend ( we both don't speak Spanish..). We told the staff that we called in the order she went in and grabbed the receipt $74.25 total. I handed her $84.25 she went inside with our money while we waited. She came back out with the box of food neatly packed, receipt taped to box didn't have any dollar amount only the list of what was ordered. I asked her "my change? my money" she looked at me stunned.. and she said "oh your change..." She came back out with five $1 bills and a single $5 bill. She had in one hand my receipt and $1 plus a $5 bill on top of the receipt covering, totaling $6 while she was handing me that she said "seis dinero." I kept telling her "no I need $10.. I gave you $84.25.." She still said "yes $6." One hand had $6 with my receipt, other hand the $4. I pulled my calculator out and typed in 84.25 to show her. She said "yes $10" and handed me all the bills.. I'm not sure what was miscommunicated or what was misunderstood.. but there was no reason for her to hold the other $4 in her other hand if she wanted to give me back a total of $10 in change. I later see on the printed receipt that whoever manned the registered entered only $80.25 Tostada Aguachile Verde -good, flavorful and fresh. Al Gobernador (tacos)- Sinaloa type of shrimp tacos. Shrimp was cooked perfectly and not overly cooked. Shrimp was super flavorful paired with chopped onions and bell peppers. My favorite out of the things we tried. This might be a better option if you personally don't really like tortilla that's just heated up and not fried. Ensenada Camaron (tacos)- shrimp was a bit overcooked under the batter. Batter was light and fluffy. Didn't personally like the tortilla it's served on. Dorados (tacos)- seems to be their signature dish, deep fried shrimp tacos. Shell was crispy and shrimp inside is well seasoned and doesn't come out overcooked. Good but not wow. Ensenada Pescado (tacos)- fish was buttery and flakey, batter was light and fluffy. Saw this restaurant on IG and was really interested in trying their shrimp tacos. Since it is so close to my office and coworker and I went. Thank goodness as I don't speak or read Spanish, and had a little challenge understanding the different entrees on the menu. The staff members were very attentive and the food was great. I do suggest getting there early as seating is limited and after we sat down to eat, there was a short line outside. The parking lot is small, but there is parking off of the main streets. The waitresses are super nice - they have quick service from the start of your order to when you take your last bite, they're quick to clean to accommodate the wait time. Such a pleasant surprise to take a long drive to the heart of East LA and realize that 4Vientos has kept their decent shrimp taco prices - $2.75 each. They are still as delicious as when I was first introduced to this gem around 8 years ago. Their house made red salsa that covers the taco is spicy with the perfect chucks of ingredients. They utilize it with their complimentary chips + salsa as well. Service is always friendly - primarily Spanish speaking. This time I tried their Marlin quesadilla - very very fishy, so this might not be for everyone. Been coming here for years as well as their other locations but the service has never been as horrible as our visit on 08/09/25. We were waiting for about 15 min for someone to come and take our order and no one did so we told one of the waitresses we were ready to order. We ordered shrimp tacos, a tostada de ceviche de camarón and some fries. Tostada came out first and shortly after our tacos. We were done eating and the fries never came so we told the waitress we didn't want them anymore and I didn't like her attitude towards us not wanting the fries anymore. She said, "well you should've told me before you didn't want them now I'm gonna have to pay for them". And not once did she stop at our table to ask how everything was or if we needed anything. She kept insisting for us to take the fries to go so she wouldn't have to pay for them. Place was full of people at 11am ordered crispy shrimp taco with salad on the side it came with sliced avocado. Sides were crispy center shrimp was soft. I really like the mild salsa with bits of onion. I usually come here at least every other week since my work place is near by. Best days to come is during the week day, weekends are pretty busy and if I have the time I will place a phone order. This is my favorite Mariscos restaurant in Los Angeles and sf valley. If you're coming from the valley it's a bit of a drive but definitely worth it. It's cash only and they have an atm on site if you don't come prepared. The tostada is so fresh and satisfying. Fair warning it is on the spicer side but it goes well with a jimaca drink. My favorite dish is the tacos dorados. Trust me you won't be disappointed with them. Everyone at every table tables ordered some either as an appetizer to share or as a meal itself. Then finally a car happened to pull out as we were driving by and we snagged a spot and found out what we have been missing all these years: the best shrimp tacos we've ever had! My girlfriend and I came here on a Sunday afternoon and we were seated promptly. We sat outside, there is a bit of a line if you choose to dine inside, but we didn't really care. The best stuff on their menu is hands down their ceviche, shrimp tacos (tacos dorados), and their fish tacos. The ceviche is perfectly marinated in lime juice and is cut so finely, and has a good amount of cucumber, tomato, onion, etc. This goes for both the fish and the shrimp. The size of the tostada is generous, and the actual flavor of the tostada itself is also tasty. As for the tacos, these are definitely my favorite! I ordered ONE fish taco, and I swear I could have easily made two hefty tacos out of it. They put not one, not two, but three massive strips of perfectly battered fish strips in the taco. This taco is served on a soft corn tortilla. The chile de arbol hot sauce is A MUST on this taco. The taco dorado on the other hand is deep fried and has shrimp inside. ($4 something) I Think the tacos dorado at mariscos Jalisco down the road is better. The salsa that goes on it is a notch spicer here than Mariscos Jalisco. I ordered the VIP cocktail, which came with shrimp, octopus, fish, oysters and clams. The size of this cocktail was huge and the portions of each dish were more than plenty for me. The cocktail was very tasty and filling. The only thing I didn't care for was that it had too much ketchup for my taste. But it was a great cocktail nevertheless.
