An East L.A. gem! The parking situation is not great, but you will eventually find some parking that you'll have to maneuver into. The seafood is Amazing! I love the shrimp tacos dorados. I think that's they're staple. However, their tostadas mixtas and shrimp cocktail is also great! I wish they had outdoor seating. It would be great to invest in some chairs and possibly tables. The service is fast and the staff is very nonsense so have your order ready to tell them.

Had to checkout Mariscos 4 Vientos - known for their delectable shrimp and fish tacos also enjoyed a ceviche tostada and of course, my chino wanted to try their choco-flan #mariscos4vientos

I've been here a couple of times, I'm not gonna lie. The food is good, but the service and customer service are not the best. They make you feel like you are asking for FREE FOOD, and I'm not, and it's very disappointing for the atmosphere.

This spot never misses. (This for the lonchera) Been coming here for 10+ years. Highly recommend. The seafood is fresh, and flavorful. Decent portions for price (cash only) Line can get long but moves pretty smooth. Might have to take the food to your car to eat. There's not many spots available there. Usually there's a raspado man near by for dessert.

My favorite taco spot by far!!! Very consistent taste of food and the portions are good. Don't order with your eyes, you will be uber full. Fast service, nice staff but speaks mostly Spanish. Hole in the wall in East LA that is popular. Few tables and not a lot of parking spot but its worth it. My favorites are the deep fried shrimp tacos and fish tacos.

Mariscos 4 Vientos has a food truck parked on Olympic in front of the market and they're both Mariscos 4 Vientos. The food truck has all the ensalada and "kilawin" (if you're Filipino) stuff but if you want anything fried or crispy, you have to walk around to the back of the building and wait outside the door for someone to take your order. The line to order is almost non-existent but there is a short wait to pick up your food. Poseida Tostada which had all sorts of awesome seafood on it. Totally loaded. It was loaded enough for one person for sure. The aguachile on it was sooooooooooooooo hot though. I almost couldn't eat the dish. Had to go alternate bites with the kids' food. Fish Taco was fried crispy and oh so good. This one we had to order from the back entrance of the market. It was a while before someone took a order and another while for the food to come out. Ordered the Horchata from the market too which was absolutely essential to finishing that super hot Tostada. Prepared Raw Oyster is soooo good. I'm glad I ordered only half dozen. The way they prepare their raw oysters is they load it up with other seafood on top. One prawn and some octopus slices and a generous portion of avocado and other stuff on each oyster half shell. VERY filling. The Shrimp Tacos are hot cheesy juicy and heavy. The red salsa was more like a chopped tomato salad on top which is GREAT because the kids could not have eaten anything heat on it.

It might not even be 12 ounces. It might even be 8 ounces pretty small for $15.50.

Mariscos Jaliscos is a simple, humble and easy going food truck that easily beats any sit in boujee restaurant. Their menu is simple and easy to understand. Mariscos Jalisco is best known for their Fried shrimp tacos however, they have one of the best aguachiles I've tasted hands down. Their shrimp tacos are absolutely amazing with the right crunchiness and soft fried shrimp inside. The sauce that comes with these tacos are jam packed with flavor adding to the overall flavors/texture of the shrimp taco. Hurts to say it but this might be my new favorite shrimp taco in ELA/Boyle Heights area. The service here is quick and friendly. I went on a Friday afternoon and did not find busy crowds at this food truck. Street parking is available and the times that i've visited other food trucks nearby i was able to find quick parking. Its a busy street so you will find people coming in and out of parking spots most of the time. I enjoyed my experience here at Mariscos Jalisco and will be coming back very soon. Social media brought me here and I'm unsure if I would come back again due to personal experience. If a friend wants to come by I wouldn't object to it but I wouldn't make my way out here on my own. Food was good but no wow factor, skip to the bottom for food description. My fluently Spanish speaking friend called in the order to avoid us waiting too long. I went to pick it up with different friend ( we both don't speak Spanish..). We told the staff that we called in the order she went in and grabbed the receipt $74.25 total. I handed her $84.25 she went inside with our money while we waited. She came back out with the box of food neatly packed, receipt taped to box didn't have any dollar amount only the list of what was ordered. I asked her "my change? my money" she looked at me stunned.. and she said "oh your change..." She came back out with five $1 bills and a single $5 bill. She had in one hand my receipt and $1 plus a $5 bill on top of the receipt covering, totaling $6 while she was handing me that she said "seis dinero." I kept telling her "no I need $10.. I gave you $84.25.." She still said "yes $6." One hand had $6 with my receipt, other hand the $4. I pulled my calculator out and typed in 84.25 to show her. She said "yes $10" and handed me all the bills.. I'm not sure what was miscommunicated or what was misunderstood.. but there was no reason for her to hold the other $4 in her other hand if she wanted to give me back a total of $10 in change. I later see on the printed receipt that whoever manned the registered entered only $80.25 Tostada Aguachile Verde -good, flavorful and fresh. Al Gobernador (tacos)- Sinaloa type of shrimp tacos. Shrimp was cooked perfectly and not overly cooked. Shrimp was super flavorful paired with chopped onions and bell peppers. My favorite out of the things we tried. This might be a better option if you personally don't really like tortilla that's just heated up and not fried. Ensenada Camaron (tacos)- shrimp was a bit overcooked under the batter. Batter was light and fluffy. Didn't personally like the tortilla it's served on. Dorados (tacos)- seems to be their signature dish, deep fried shrimp tacos. Shell was crispy and shrimp inside is well seasoned and doesn't come out overcooked. Good but not wow. Ensenada Pescado (tacos)- fish was buttery and flakey, batter was light and fluffy. Also didn't like the tortillas it's served on.

I've been craving mariscos for MONTHS. Sadly, I was not satisfied. This isn't the type of place to just try whatever they offer. We ordered the tacos gobernador. Those were pretty good. I've had them before at many places. I also had the batalloso. The batalloso was full of beautiful seafood. Packed! That part was amazing. But I couldn't get with the flavor. I couldn't even finish it. I never have a problem finishing mariscos. My husband at two tacos - one shrimp, one fish. The presentation was also beautiful. And packed! The downside is, the only salsa or chile you're getting is tapatío on the table. We asked for salsa or anything else they have besides the taptatio. The answer was a hard no. Tapatío only. So that took away from the tacos. My daughter had the fried fish and shrimp plate. This was good. Fries were really good. Unfortunately, they're not mindful of what they put on the tvs. First, it was a dental infomercial. Then a starving children with visible health problems infomercial came in after. It was hard to eat seeing all of the adversity. We asked to change the channel. They did not. Lastly, there are no restrooms. Even for patrons. So bring your wipes and sanitizer. Cash only.

The fried fish taco was a bit over battered and tasted overcooked. Everything was edible, but it didn't give me that "I want to come back" feeling.
