It's been about 1 years since we've been back and I think the Dorados de Camaron used to be shrimpier. Poseidon was mid. Salsas and aguachile (both Verde and rojo) were not hitting like usual. read more

Best mariscos in my side of town to be honest hands down!!!!!! They are cash only which is totally fine They have a few locations all nearby but this one has to be my fave one. Parking is just a little easier unless it's during The Weeknd or during lent. But I love that they have indoor seating. All the food is yummy but my faves is definitely the aguachile and the tacos dorados de camarones. Their salsa is just out of this world. It's a must if you're in town!! Mariscos 4 Vientos has a food truck parked on Olympic in front of the market and they're both Mariscos 4 Vientos. The food truck has all the ensalada and "kilawin" (if you're Filipino) stuff but if you want anything fried or crispy, you have to walk around to the back of the building and wait outside the door for someone to take your order. The line to order is almost non-existent but there is a short wait to pick up your food. Poseida Tostada which had all sorts of awesome seafood on it. Totally loaded. It was loaded enough for one person for sure. The aguachile on it was sooooooooooooooo hot though. I almost couldn't eat the dish. Had to go alternate bites with the kids' food. Fish Taco was fried crispy and oh so good. This one we had to order from the back entrance of the market. It was a while before someone took a order and another while for the food to come out. Ordered the Horchata from the market too which was absolutely essential to finishing that super hot Tostada. Prepared Raw Oyster is soooo good. I'm glad I ordered only half dozen. The way they prepare their raw oysters is they load it up with other seafood on top. One prawn and some octopus slices and a generous portion of avocado and other stuff on each oyster half shell. VERY filling. The Shrimp Tacos are hot cheesy juicy and heavy. The red salsa was more like a chopped tomato salad on top which is GREAT because the kids could not have eaten anything heat on it. read more

I've been coming here for a few years now, and I have never been disappointed till the last two times I've gone I noticed that their shrimp cocktail with octopus went from being 16 ounces at 14.50 to 12 ounces at $15.50. There was only like three pieces of shrimp in it and hardly in any octopus. And they also put a whole mess of ketchup in it. When you come to LA, you must eat here! They have a food truck on the side of the street but they also have a building where you can go in and sit to enjoy your food. I assume depending on the time you go, the wait varies. I visited on a Monday afternoon, so we did not have to wait to order; only had to wait for the food, but that wasn't a long wait either. They have so many options on their menu; it was so hard to choose from. I ended up ordering tacos dorados and and Poseida Tostada. The tacos dorados was so crunchy and fully of flavor. The Poseida Tostada was stacked with a bunch of seafood like shrimp, octopus, crab meat. It was so fresh and they give extra tostadas to munch on since the one on the bottom would get soggy from all the sauces. They even gave extra toppings in case we wanted to add more on top. Usually places would charge extra, but this spot doesn't! Everything is pretty affordable and fresh that I think it's worth the trip. This place is always busy and is very popular no matter what location you go to... They are all slightly different... This location offers plates, and micheldas... But I went to the one that sells alcohol because the one across doesn't and is temporarily closed because of Covid. They're currently only doing takeout and cash only!
