    Fish taco and tostada

Amazing mariscos tostada, Fish taco, a must if you are in the area. Not best parking but order ahead or enjoy inside

We tried this restaurant on recommendation from a coworker. There's a food truck outside if you prefer not to wait for a table. There's limited seating. The seafood is fresh and the service is friendly. I highly recommend the Mixta tostada and the tacos dorados or the fish tacos. Warning, portion are massive. Will be back!

The best mariscos place I've been to so far. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The shrimp dorado is crispy still when I got it. Even after they pour the sauce on top. I could eat 10 of those back to back. Also got the La perrona aka La panocha. Packed with fresh seafood. Enough to share for 2 people I think. All the servers kept coming to ask if I'm ok. Very friendly service. Cash Only though! So bring some moolah baby!

First off I have to admit that I was trying to go to the other Mariscos down the street and didn't even pay attention to the name (past the "Mariscos" part) and ended up here. Well, with that said, the food was delicious and fresh! I was craving Mexican seafood before we headed to the Lakers game and this place hit the spot. The dining room felt like eating in Mexico City and the fact that the servers spoke little to no English just added to the authenticity. I will make it to the "other" place soon and will be able to crown my personal favorite then.

the aguachile verde tostada was packed with a lot of fish and it was milder in the taste. they're cash only and there's lots of nearby street parking. i'd come back to try more!

Oooh this place is just perfection ! Free street parking can suck. I've never tried their parking Lot I've done phone orders before Their fried shrimp tacos what can I say that hasn't already been said? They're heaven The coktel also is yummy, ceviche, shrimp, pulpo, scallops, agua chiles etc Super professional hospitable staff I'll always recommend & return Average prices

My favorite spot for shrimp tacos and shrimp cocktails! I've tried many places, but nothing beats the flavor here. Everything always tastes fresh. The shrimp cocktail comes with tostadas and saltine crackers and is loaded with shrimp. I had two shrimp tacos and a shrimp cocktail and it filled me up. The sauce is very spicy but super addicting. They have an indoor restaurant and a food truck outside, but I've only ordered from the truck so far. There's almost always a line, but it moves quickly and service is fast. Cash only and street parking can be a bit challenging. They used to add more avocado to the shrimp cocktail, but now there's less. Still delicious and definitely worth the wait.

CASH ONLY!!! ATM inside. Service was excellent, even for being lunch rush. I didn't see how many were in the kitchen, but they were bringing out order like crazy for those who placed online. The waitresses were so sweet and very attentive. Restroom was very clean. Unfortunately they only had afua de jamaica, so I got a coke. My sister in law and I ordered La Toxica to share and we both ordered a taco dorado and a fish taco. FISH TACO IS HUGE!!! Taco dorado is BOMB!!! The filling inside the taco dorado is something I've never tasted and I'm a foodie. The Toxica comes with Ceviche de pescado and shrimp, a la diabla agua chiles and the standard green agua chiles. On top it is served with mixto of shrimp and octopus. Her and I couldn't finish it because we had our tacos before hand. Ask for the salsa de árbol, it doesn't hit ypu at first but 3rd bite in you start to feel it. We also ordered the choco flan and the cheesecake flan which btw TASTES SO MUCH BETTER IF LEFT OUT IN ROOM TEMPERATURE, brings out the chocolate better, they were so YUMMY!!! They don't serve alcoholic beverages but do offer soda in a bottle and can, along with their agua frescas. The staff really made you feel at home, just so sweet and really spoke to you as if they know you as a friend or family member. Great food, great service, and so much to choose from I LOVED IT AND I WILL GO BACK. Highly recommend this to any sea food lover!

I've been wanting to try this place for so long, so worth it! Everything was fresh and tasty. The inside is clean, the staff was so nice and attentive! 10/10 customer service. The Ensenada shrimp tacos were so good, they took me back to Ensenada! I absolutely loved them. The fried shrimp taco was also tasty, little spicy but tolerable. The octopus on the tostada was so fresh and tender.

i stopped by here because it's as popular as mariscos jalisco and honestly, with the hype, i was expecting some amazing tacos de camaron and aguachile verda the tacos de camaron were almost exactly the same, pretty good, but i was excited to try something else on the menu. i ordered the aguachile verde and got handed a regular ceviche instead. i was incredibly disappointed. not only did i not get the right order, but the ceviche was subpar. the tostada was yummy, yes, but the ceviche was so standard that it honestly might've been one of the worst i've had for a long time. i've had ceviche a lot. like probably once a week. mariscos is one of my favorite foods ever, whether it's green, black, red, with mango, with fish, with octopus, avocado, or just as is. this wasn't even tangy, it was watery and the meat was limp. for almost 9 dollars, you get a small solo cup and 3 tostadas and the cup was only good enough for 1.5 tostadas....... i might stick with mariscos jalisco. i went to 2 different locations and they did not mess up with my order at all. it tasted great at both, exactly the same. i heard that mariscos jalisco is the OG. do i give the cute shop another try? maybe sit down instead of the food truck? let me know.

I came here to try the shrimp taco. The shrimp tacos are not bad, but not stellar. The fried tortilla has an amazing crunch and flavor, but the filling leaves you wanting move. The filling is charred and seems overcooked...you only taste hints of the seafood. I know they have amazing seafood...the shrimp tacos just fall short. Staff is amazing and the atmosphere is great. This truck always has a line, and I think the seafood is the big draw.

    Tacos de Camarón$3
    Erik G.

What I Ordered: Tacos de Camarón $3 I set out to Boyle Heights to try both Mariscos Jalisco and Mariscos 4 Vientos. I was eager to try both versions and to compare which one I liked more. I started off ordering here first. I ordered two Tacos de Camarón. It cost $6 for two tacos which was a good value considering the portion size and amount of shrimp included. Mariscos 4 Vientos seemed more popular with the locals. They had a steady stream of customers coming and going on a weekday afternoon. I would definitely come back for the Tacos de Camarón at Mariscos 4 Vientos.

Do the tacos de camaron dorados come in sets of 2?

No, it's one taco per order.

Are they open for dine in? Update: Their SIT IN restaurant is open for dine in! The one on Olympic and Lorena; since people think they only have a food truck :)

The one on Lorena & Olympic does have outdoor dining open, but its only a few tables... The restaurant itself is not fully opened since the last time I went...

Are the shrimp tacos gluten free or do they add flour or soy to the tacos?

Is this a food truck or an actual sit down restaurant?

It's a clean sit down restaurant with plenty of parking.

Coming up to the stand, you eye the menu and make your order, $8 dollars each or $10 for a dual topping type. There is potentially a bit of a wait due to every meal being freshly made on order, but it is a good and worthwhile wait, the staff, clientele, and food being most hospitable. At your order, purple dough is flattened to a blue corn tortilla, each tortilla freshly pressed and grilled in front of you. You watch it sizzle and rise brown, flip over, and continue its cycle to grow crisp. Topping highlights for me include squash blossoms and pork, which is chicharrones with a surprising crisp and crunch better than almost any other I've had, the ring of each bite echoing autumn leaves crunching under my feet, its condensed jerky flavour hemorrhaging in the still present sweetness of a meat once juicy.
