I come to this place every timer after my haircut. Been coming for years. The tacos are the best all the sea food is amazing. The people there already know what I want lol. It has outdoor and indoor seating and enough space.. Yumm!

Burnt onion rings and different colored shrimp which was served originally together, Calamari rings were good though.

Burned my food but still served it, Ordered La Botana Familiar without baby octopus. Onion rings were hard as a rock and clearly EXTRA EXTRA crispy to the point where i struggled to break them with my hands, along with the shrimp which were different colors. Talked to waiter to give me replacements and got two correctly cooked shrimp which will be included in the picture for reference. Pictures taken October 26 6:31PM

Service and food was good. Shrimp and scallop combo is 26.99 I believe and I got only 4 shrimps. Little bit steep for 4 shrimps. My husband got the lobster and asada, lobster little bit over cooked but it's okay he enjoyed it still. Lobster and asada about $50 tho.

NEVER going back!! After it changed ownership the portions are ridiculous!! Food doesn't taste the same and they even charge you for extra salsa and sour cream. They are loosing customers little by little. I've been coming here since I was little .. my family and I are very disappointed. Please look at my picture.. this is how sad the tacos are not. Been coming for years and today was the first time I was extremely disappointed. I asked for an all shrimp burrito and this is what I got, 8 shrimps total for this big tortilla burrito. We waited over 30 minutes to not even have a full meal. Hemos comprado aquí por años y voy fue la primera vez que quedé extremadamente decepcionada. I celebrated my birthday here yesterday and I couldn't have been happier. The best calamari I have ever had. The green sauce that goes with it, is perfection. I wish they bottled it! And I'm very picky when it comes to green sauces. I ordered a fish taco and a shrimp taco. The fish taco was great actually better than great! It wasn't greasy or too crispy. Sooo good. Shrimp taco was good too. We also ordered ceviche, just a warning. Its very large but also delicious.

It's amazing how many restaurants are in Boyle Heights, all my favorite places through the years, Siete Mares has a restaurant but also a hut for a quick bite with daily specials across the seating area outside. Love the fish, shrimp tacos and the cocktails and ceviche for a fair price. read more

WOW! My friend recommended me to stop by the best fish taco stand in LA. I haven't had other fish tacos but this is definitely the best fish taco I have ever had! The waiter was very rude. I tried talking to him, and because I don't speak Spanish, he turned and talked to my daughter who spoke Spanish, and when I looked at him he turned around and ignored me and kept talking to her about our meal asked him a question, he turned around and answer to her and not to me. I don't think I'll ever go back to a place that has people like that working there that is very disrespectful. he's also the man at the who welcomes you when you come in I'm sorry I am Mexican-American. I was born and raised in Boyle Heights and to be treated like that is sad because of what's going on in the world we deserve respect if you didn't like that I don't speak Spanish. I'm sorry I wasn't brought up speaking Spanish in my household. We have Mexican-American Indian. So when we were in school, we were taught to speak English only.the man was the Host. Don't come here!! Our bill was almost $250! Food was flavorless! Service was horrible it was short staffed and we had to stop our waitress to get what we needed. Spoons, napkins.. The worst part is that our bill was going to split in to 2. They charged me $250 and also $100 that the other person was going to pay. Be ware they are charging more than they should. The person who answers the phone hung up on me telling manager wasn't there. Every time I call they give me the run around. I'm still waiting yo get reimbursed and have not once talked to manager. read more

If I could I would give 0 star I would. Food was not flavorful at all. They had no melted butter, no tarter sauce, no horchata and no orange bang. To be honest to pay 300$ for food I was expecting something flavorful or delicious. I would not recommend this at all. read more

Definitely, recommend el ceviche de pescado it's delicious and fresh...also don't forget to grab a deep fried mojara it's so yummy and well seasoned. They have it all if your picking up a family platter, tostadas, limon, aguacates, Valentina y don't forget the jaritos.....Can't go wrong with the prices read more

Best place for oysters, this place is FIRE Ceviche is BOMB and everything is fresh.. I drive all the way from Ontario just to get the best Mariscos around I still haven't found anything that can even compare every other place I go to all the oysters are farm raised,NASTY . So I went back the next day to try a teriyaki beef and chicken plate. Now the sauce was good, as it is like much lunch plate flavor, and the beef and chicken was tender. The slices were thin though, and wished they were a bit larger. Overall, the service was friendly, but the dining area is small, so keep that in mind if you plan on dining it. Both times I went there were seats available though. Next time I want to try their chili fries. Enjoy!!!

I called 15 mins before going to the restaurant to make sure they did accept cash and who ever picked up said YES. BUT then when I got there she said she couldn't accept my cash. I told her what happened about my call and the drive I did so she helped me out and accepted the cash. This is why I'm leaving it as a 4 star review. I didn't like that the person who picked up the phone call lied but the girl who helped me out with my order was kind turned it around.
