The kid got the cheese tortellini on both visits and will do so on every visit in the future for all of eternity. He decided he's not a fan of tortellini in soup form, so I get his soup. He rates the entree somewhere above HEB imported refrigerated variety and somewhere below his most beloved Pesto Restaurante, but I think if we tweak the sauce, we will get it dialed in ok. I've gotten Veal Francese both times, because I'm a monster, and when I see veal on a menu, I can't help myself. It was paired with a salad, and (my kid's) soup, and the entree was served with pasta al dente. Super filling and priced quite reasonably. It was delicious - I loved everything about it. The staff made the experience even more special by joining in to sing "Happy Birthday," and I was gifted the cutest Hook & Reel mascot teddy bear along with a complimentary dessert. We had an amazing time, and the seafood boils were delicious. I requested extra spicy chili oil, and our server truly delivered - it was incredibly spicy, but so good I couldn't stop eating it.
