Chicharron de Pescado and Fish Tacos
    Sam D.

Let's start off with the service. The servers, Yaneth, Michel, Ashley, Cabrera and Xóchitl, are outstanding. They are on top of things and if one of them is tied up, any of the others will willingly take care of the customer. The food: Everything we've tried has been outstanding. We normally start off with the guacamole and fish chicharron. You are served a large portion of guac (sometimes hard to finish) and the chicharron (fried fish strips) that sometimes make a full meal. Any of the entrees we've tried have all been great. I am not one for octopus (too rubbery) but my wife ordered a whole one and had me try it. It was actually soft and easy to chew. Not that I would ever order it, but if you like octopus, I believe you'll like it. Their pasta dishes are awesome and you can even ask to remove any seafood you don't like from the dish (such as octopus!) My wife likes the Mojarra a la Diabla which is whole tilapia in a red sauce. I've tried it, it's good, but I just can't eat something that's staring back at me. Try this place. It's small and sometimes parking is hard to find but well worth it.

Yuuuum! Mexicans know how to party!!!

I don't know where to start bragging about Las Islas Marias! I have been a loyal customer for years! This restaurant isn't only for good food but the perfect establishment for entertainment and people watching! At every visit it never fails to see something unusual. From clowns performing... to mariachis... to people selling random things. One time a lady walked in carrying a table to sell... so yes this restaurant i believe function on Mexico time lol and I am in love with it! Also the food is super good! My favorite is the shrimp Nayarit that sauce you can drink on its own! All of their ceviches are amazing! Very well seasoned, spicy, citrusy and tangy! No need to add anything to it just scoop with the tostada and enjoy! Pair it with a cerveza preparado and you are all set!

Such a good restaurant! Love the pasta marinera! Their prices are really accessible. The establishment is small though.

We decided to check this restaurant out on a Sunday. I know, I know... I expected to have to wait a longgg time but surprisingly no. We waited maybe 15-20 mins? For a party of 6. We got a booth that was surprisingly accommodating. We all got different things and they all tasted very delicious! I want to go back and try so many more different options because the family next to us ordered some delicious looking good.

We had a group of ten on New Year's Day and only had to wait about 20 minutes. Once seated the service and the food was great. Food was plentiful and service was very quick.

This was the back side of a clam or mussel. I don't know what that mold stuff is on top.

I really hate to do this but I don't know how you people can eat this. That only tells me that people around here do not know good seafood. This was straight up food poisoning. The fish meat, shrimp was chewy and old. Trash. I took a few bites and called it quits. That was enough to make my stomach hurt. To the people who left this disgusting place good ratings: y'all crazy. Close this place down!

I wish I lived in SA just for this place. I cannot recommend it enough. The food and service was awesome. I had the ceviche verde. It was perfect. Didn't need extra lime, salt, nothing. I might come back for lunch again tomorrow before I leave SA.

Amazing seafood with fresh flavors coastal seafood dishes. Unmatched ceviche and cocktails. Try the campechanas cocktail for an ocean full bite. We will be back.

Great seafood and location is very clean. Service is kind and efficient. The location is not very accessible and that's why it's 4 and not 5 stars. The caldo de camarón is my favorite!

Es el típico sabor de mariscos, los mismos platillos que hay en todos los restaurantes de mariscos, no está mal, pero nada diferente

Birthdays, random cravings, "we survived the week" dinners & you name it, we've probably celebrated it here. The vibe is casual, fun, and laid-back, which is exactly what you want when you're about to put on a bib and commit to a seafood boil. And yes, that is exactly what you should do here because the boils never miss. The seafood is always fresh, the sauces are flavorful, and the spice levels are not playing around. My recommendation? Stick with level 2 unless you enjoy sweating through your meal and reevaluating your life choices. My go-to combo is mussels, shrimp, crab legs, potatoes, boiled egg, and veggies. And before anybody gets suspicious about the veggies in a seafood boil, hear me out, they absolutely belong there. They soak up all that buttery, spicy sauce and add something extra to the whole experience. Don't skip them. Also, get the flights. They're fun, they're good, and they make an already good time even better. Smashin Crab is one of those places we keep coming back to because it's reliable in the best way: good seafood, great flavor, and the kind of meal that feels like an event every time.

Jenn was our server, and she was amazing very attentive, informative, and provided great service throughout our visit. The ambiance was a fun, lively vibe with music playing, and the restaurant was clean. The happy hour menu had a great selection, with everything from shrimp boils to cocktails. We started with the 1/2 dozen chargrilled oysters ($19.12) and the Smash'd Margarita Flight ($11 during happy hour). Chargrilled Oysters: 8.5/10 The oysters were cooked in garlic butter and Parmesan and served with crispy toast. The toast was definitely a highlight for me it added such a good texture and paired really well with the oysters. I would absolutely order these again! Smash'd Margarita Flight: (9/10) This was a fun way to get a taste of the different margaritas they offer. The prickly pear was my favorite of the flight! Shrimp Boil: (10/10) For our main meal, we ordered the shrimp boil from the happy hour menu and added a few extras. I loved how customizable the boils were. They have a great variety of add-ons, from broccoli to ramen noodles, and you can also choose your seasoning and spice level. Overall, we had a great experience. Good food, a fun atmosphere, plenty of options, and great service from Jenn. We'll definitely be back and those chargrilled oysters will be making another appearance at the table! When I came up to the place it wasn't a sit down place to eat, but that you have to order which was confusing as there were a lot of other restaurants within the small space. There was a guy there that was picking up wing and he stated that they were the best and big pieces. So he showed me how to order. And I place my order as it was Wednesday dollar day for wings so I order wings. I had the parmesan garlic, lemon pepper. Let me tell you they were so good, the wait was too long but worth the wait. It best to order online then go pick up. The restroom were locked so that is why I gave 4 and we weren't able to speak with no one. If you need any special thing or extras please write it I. It's a multi-restaurant location but no one actually works the front desk or door. So you basically have to order your food online and they deliver it to a locker where you pick it up. Very strange.
