Great place even for a large group.

I come to this place often. This was actually the first Mexican restaurant we visited when we moved to Santa Maria. The seafood here is delicious. And so far we haven't had a bad dish. I usually get the fish tacos. But any of the meats are tasty. The burritos are good and filling, It's a small place, and be aware the parking can get full. But I've had groups of 20 with me and the management has been more than accommodating. The vibe is very local and no frills. But the food is quality and delicious.

Restaurant was nice and clean. We went at lunch time and food came out fairly quick and we found seating. Best spot in Santa Maria for seafood for a good price and quick lunch time bite!

Food: 4.5. Came by to try a new (to us) Mexican restaurant. Place is a small place with only inside seating. Ordering is at the counter and you picku up your order when your number is called. Drinks are self serve.Menu is available and posted behind the counter and by QR code. I was not able to access by QR code. We ordered one octopus tostada, one asada taco, one pastor taco, and one shrimp taco. Food came out timely and at the right temperature. Portion size is fair. All the food was very good. Another reviewer mentioned the shrimp taco so I decided to order. I normally only eat beef, pork or fish tacos. My favorite ended up being the shrimp taco. Octopus was tender and flavorful in the ceviche like mixture. Hard to eat as a tostada as the filling was watery. Service was good but not necessarily welcoming. Still, worth coming back.

One of my friends always raved about this spot. I finally had the chance to stop by for a quick lunch. I ordered two shrimp tacos which were fabulous. The service was friendly and fast! The inside was clean and there was plenty of parking. Everything was clean, I'll be back!

Great choice of tacos. The carnitas were the BOMB. Definately, hitting this up again for sure. Chef Recommends trying this spot out.

All 4 of us ordered the Tri Tip sandwiches. The tri tip was very flavorful! probably the best tri tip I had ever had. TH=here was some good smoke flavor in that meat. Sliced very thin, it was so easy to eat. No fighting the meat. Bread was buttered. BBQ on the side was Sweet Baby Ray's. I found that the BBQ sauce took away from the sammich, so I did very little dipping. If I come again, which I hope I do, I will order that sammich, but prepared in the same manner in which they prepare the roast beef sandwich. We took some chile verde sausages home to try, and those have a strong and memorable chile taste. For people who do not like spicy, beware. For the rest of us it is a satisfying burn. It is a pork sausage. Wife denied the purchase of the blackberry habanero sausage, so I will be left wondering about those. We also grabbed their pesto mayo. We will be trying that this week. I think I would have liked it on my tri tip sammich. I love pesto on anything. Place ain't cheap, but what is?

To start with despite the restaurant being literally empty, we had to wait for 10 minutes. Apparently they didn't plan properly in the server department. Once seated our server was pleasant and brought drinks and biscuits in short order then apparently forgot when we asked for more . I decided to order the Mariners Seafood Boil even though it was $51.00 because the menu picture looked great. However, what we received was in no way what was pictured on the menu. The lobster tail was about 2 inches long! I wish I'd thought to take a picture because it was so small it was almost laughable. Except it was costing me $51.00. The 6 snow crab legs were so small I couldn't get the meat out of them and the several shrimp were about the size of a thimble. I can't tell you how stupid I felt for forking over $51.00 for these tiny items swimming in a half inch of melted butter. This time I WILL NOT go back. I have to add the fact that my husband's fish sandwich and fries were really good according to him and mom's Mariner Seafood Boil had reasonably sized crab legs. Im still not going back.
