I am completely blown away by this place! The tacos are super cheap and they come loaded with everything! For $1.50 you get all the fixings and guacamole! I ordered, pollo, cabeza, lingua and fish tacos, they were all amazing, I seriously can't say anything negative about this place. My only complaint is that the tacos are so filling, I was full after only three of them. This is definitely my goto taco place from now on anytime I stay at the hotel nearby. Don't waste your time going to Americanized Mexican restaurants where they charge you $10 for three lame tacos, go to this food truck and experience what tacos should be like! Love it! read more

First let me start off by saying that my food truck experience is limited, so the novelty hasn't worn off yet. I'm from the east coast, and the food truck craze is still pretty young there. With that out of the way, let's discuss my experience here. I had 2 initial impressions. First, the guy who took my order spoke to me in English. Please, don't go assuming I'm a biggot who hates brown people by noting the English. It's just that I'm clearly a gringo, so speaking to me in Spanish would have been a somewhat ridiculous. It was appreciated. Second, there was another employee in the truck that I could see preparing a large hunk of beef. It's always a welcome sign to see fresh meat and not pre-prepared garbage. My order (entirely too much): I got a carne asada burrito, a fish taco and a shrimp taco. As he was bagging up my food he offered several extras, including guacamole for no extra charge. The burrito was awesome! There was a little bit of gristle, but the flavor was very good. It was probably 2/3 the size of a chipotle burrito, for size reference. Both tacos were also really good. The fish was flaked pretty finely, which I thought was kinda odd, but the flavor was excellent. Final impression. I ate almost all of it, despite being full half way through. I also didn't have to run to the bathroom 5 minutes after I ate like I would have at chipotle. . I'd definitely go there again! read more

A real taco truck! Seems pretty popular with the locals. The menu is in Spanish but don't let that stop you. The guy was friendly. Lots of hot sauces and even peppers. I had the Torta de carnitas which is a pork flatbread sandwich. It was pretty big. Chips comes in the form of a fried tortilla that you break. Tacos are small but inexpensive. Staying close by and checked out yelp to see what was close by. This place has great reviews so thought I would try it. The service was on point and fast for everything we ordered. We got chicharrón tacos because everyone seemed to rave about them on their reviews. They were ok, but not the best I've had. The salsa was not spicy enough and they needed a little bit more flavor but they were good, just not great. Shrimp Quesadilla was definitely good. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and it came with a side of guacamole, pickled carrots and jalapeños. Asada burrito was good. Mix tostada was delish. They give you lots of side of guacamole and salsa with tostadas. Overall I would go back if I was staying close by but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. read more

Food was tasty, people were friendly, it was very affordable. They have chairs and tables under a big tree so it has a nice shade. My friend has a lay over at LAX and I took her here cause we only had 2 hrs. The drive and parking were a bit confusing, so it took us longer than we thought it was going to be. Got the ceviche tostada with guac and it was very tasty. The fish tacos were not breaded, but more like carnitas style, but it was very flavorful and a bit spicy. Since it was "Taco Tuesday" and my homegirls and I were craving tacos, we decided to search for a really good taco truck in the area and found El Sabroso Taco Truck on yelp. The positive reviews are all legit! I ordered carne asada tacos to satisfy my hunger and craving! The tacos were not your normal tiny tacos with minimal meat. El Sabroso's tacos are big and have huge portions of carne asada! I definitely recommend this taco truck to anyone who is on the go and are looking to eat some delicious tacos. I wasn't impressed at all with this truck. The tacos are big with a double tortilla but were absent of any flavor and SALSA. Who serves you a taco with no salsa??? Maybe it was my fault for not asking for it but salsa should be pretty standard on a taco. I tried the asada and carnitas and both were dissapointing. I also had a tostada de ceviche de pescado and once again dissapointed. It was more onion than anything else. The price is right but just flavor is just lacking. Wow. Seafood from a taco truck??? I was concerned by the combination of those two words, but I got a chicken taco and a shrimp ceviche and they were both some of the best I've ever had. Those items and a big bottle of Mexican Coke was $6.50, which I found to be a crazy good value. Part of the reason I was willing to give it a try was that there was a crowd of people in front of the truck and there were local people from the car rental places eating there so I figured it couldn't be too bad f they were eating there and I was not disappointed. They served their shrimp ceviche between two tostadas which was a new way of serving them for me, but it was great. you can just eat it kind of like a sandwich. I will admit that I'm not a fan of anything other than their seafood. You need to look elsewhere if you're looking for good tacos de asada or al pastor. With that being said, their seafood is fantastic. Their shrimp cocktail is delicious, but you get a real taste of how good this place is when you order one of their campechanas: very similar to a shrimp cocktail, but with the addition of several different types of seafood. The portions are very good. El Guero is very amicable and they get the food out fast. The most I've waited for food has been 5 minutes, and this was with the presence of quite a line; they're quick. Sure, there are many places that sell seafood, but if you're looking for something rather inexpensive and good (those two are NOT mutually exclusive), you owe it to yourself to check these guys out. read more
