The best Mexican food I've ever had from a Taco Truck. I ordered chicken burritos, asada fries, and chicken quesadilla. The tortilla was so fresh and sneakily tasted like a crepe texture. Ingredients were fresh and loved the sauces that they have on the table and the condiments station with all the fresh pickled veggies. We picked up our rental from Fox rental in LA, and as we exited, this taco truck was parked right outside. We saw lots of local night workers eating here and that was a good sign. Area was clean and it was a nice taco truck...looks clean from looking in. Loved the lighting on the truck and the pop up tents with tables and chairs for customers to sit down and eat. I strongly recommend to order your food and eat there while it's nice and hot. We would definitely hit up this taco truck every time we land at the LAX airport. Best thing I ever ate in LA. Will definitely eat here again before we leave. Everything we ordered, I would order it again.

Look at how thin this burrito is. Where is the meat?! Absolutely a waste of money

I can only speak about my personal experience with the food. This might be the worst taco truck I have been to and that is saying something because I have never been to one I was truly upset about. When you are a taco truck, there is an even bigger magnifying glass placed on your food than a sit down place. This place not only has the smallest burrito I have ever gotten from a taco truck, but there was virtually NO MEAT in my burrito. It was a couple of meat scraps at best. I paid $12-$13 for a tortilla that was 80% rice (undercooked btw), 10% beans and 10% "meat". The tortilla was not store bought and is the only silver lining if there is one. I only came here because ricos tacos el tio was closed, but I would rather eat nothing than waste my money here again. There are hundreds of taco trucks around LA. Go to basically any other one. This was extremely disappointing, especially for being in LA

3 tacos with rice and beans for $10, you can't beat that price. The carne asada is good and I love all the toppings they offer. Be warned, the tacos are spicy here. I went with mild and that was the perfect amount of spice for me. I loved the extra toppings such as pickled onions, radishes, and jalapeños. Rice and beans were ok, not my favorite, but still Enjoyable

Landed in LAX from Europe trip and stopped for Mexican food here prior to driving home to SD. Easy access from airport. Simple menu but offered everything we usually order. Got the carne asada taco plate. Meat was flavorful and tortilla was soft and not dry. California burrito was good as well but would have liked more meat in it. Watermelon aquafresca was very good! They have self service salsa, carrot, cucumber, red onions, cilantro/onions. Outside sitting as this is a food truck. Would definitely come back again

Please be careful when you order their Fresca. I have tried most of the Fresca they sell around the LAX airport and this is the first one that served mines with some type of crushed ice. When I first tasted it, it was lukewarm so I asked for more ice. She took my cup and out came more crushed ice. It tasted like the type of ice used to store perishables so it doesn't spoil. My drink tasted funny so I threw it away. Lesson learned- if it's warm when you first try it - return it and get a refund 2) If the ice is slimy like mines - it's probably used to put perishables on top since they don't have refrigerators in the truck. 3) make sure it's cubed ice

Sonoratown was our first stop as it was highly recommended by my boyfriend's brother, and it did not disappoint. It immediately earned a spot in our top five favorite taco spots for carne asada in all of Southern California! The location that we went to is located in between Elysium DTLA and Perfumeria Starlux on E 8th St in downtown LA. There is only paid(?) street parking around the area that could be extremely difficult to find during work days. Because we couldn't snag a spot, my friends and I opted for takeout and didn't end up eating until about 30 minutes later. Despite the travel time, the tacos were still absolutely incredible--I can only imagine how spectacular it tastes fresh! My friends and I ordered the carne asada tacos, and my boyfriend opted for the cabeza. Before I even took a full bite, I tasted a piece of the loose carne asada and was blown away; it was perfectly cooked with a wonderful tenderness and deep smokiness. The use of a single, thin, handmade flour tortilla--rather than the standard double corn--was a total game-changer and exactly how I preferred my tacos. The salsas were equally impressive, offering fantastic flavor and a great kick. My boyfriend's cabeza taco was just as standout, featuring super-tender meat with a rich, savory profile. Wowowow! Between the exceptional meat quality, bold flavors, and great value, this is easily one of the best taco spots I've visited. It's a huge bummer that they don't have a location down in San Diego, but we will definitely be back!

I came here for dinner on a week night and my experience here was pretty good. I had the asada and al pastor tacos with all the toppings and they were both so good and full of meat and heat. The toppings can be spicy for some, so be warned. My favorite of the two was the all pastor which was flavorful and I did like the thinly shaved meat. It was not dry at all and was fresh. I also tried the mulita with al pastor meat and that was also soso good. Cheesy, meaty, and indulgent. The additional topping section had good variety with pickled onions, cucumbers, etc. and everything seemed pretty fresh. Unfortunately, they were pretty much out of the roasted pepper and grilled onions at the time I went. To drink, I had the horchata and that was also very delicious. It was huge, sweet, and creamy. I also loved how it was not grainy at all. A good pairing with the rich foods. They also have a good amount of seating at the stand with a long table and multiple chairs. Parking is tricky since its street parking only.

You can tell that it's house made and I liked the chewy texture of it. However, respectfully the filling felt and tasted like bean goo. I got this with asada meat and the meat was kind of chewy and not so flavorful on its own. Props to the tortilla though for not spilling everything out and holding it together well, but still a bit difficult to eat. I would ask for utensils when eating this dish. The green onion garnish was unique. I wish they gave more lime wedges because that helped elevate the dish. For $13 this wasn't too bad, but I'd rather get a better burrito from a street vendor. This is a casual eats type of place with both indoor and outdoor seating and tables. They also serve alcohol and even frozen alcoholic drinks.
