My friends and I got two plates, and when they saw us sharing, they gave us free 3 rice bowls & super sweet and shows how much they care about customers. The portions are big, the meat was cooked perfectly, and you can really taste the quality. Prices range from $20-$40 depending on the meat, but it's worth it. First time trying this joint and ordered via DoorDash. The food came very fresh and HOT. We tried the Shrimp plate with noodles and Steak and Shrimp plate with fried rice. All of the protein was fresh and delicious. Chicken is a bit dry but the seasoning was good. Between the fried rice and noodles I would definitely get the fried rice again! It was soooo delicious ! And the sauce they give you, it looks like a white/cream yum yum sauce is so buttery and delicious with the food. It's a great compliment to the dish. Would definitely try this spot again! read more

But They were doing just fine when it was only the Venice Blvd truck.. now not only is it overpriced but the quality dropped dramatically.. maybe because they let teenagers cook & handle the business. 3 times in a row now that the chicken is undercooked or just doesn't taste right. I specifically have to ask them to FULLY cook the steak also. I ordered for pick up through the Uber eats app! 323 Hibachi tends to have Buy 1, Get One free deals when you order thru Uber Eats or Postmates so that is why I decided to try them out. The rice, crack butter, and Yum Yum sauces are all good but it's the inconsistency in the protein that bothers me! While the few times I've ordered plates from them the food is seasoned well and tastes good, the meat can be super tough and severely over cooked! Like the beef and chicken breast can sometimes be mostly inedible in one plate, and the other plate will be fine. After the last few situations I've had, I will No longer be ordering for delivery because if your food sucks, it's really hard to get the problem rectified through the app. For now on I'll make my order for pick up only and make sure to check my food before leaving the truck! read more

This place is pretty solid, however with a few small pointers this place could really really take their food over the top. Fried Rice - excellent. Much better than I'd ever expect for takeout hibachi. Chicken & Steak - a bit flavorless but when you mix it in with the rice it's okay. Would be nice if they'd cook it in the garlic butter or hit it with a bit more salt, cut the pieces smaller and cook the food for about 5 minutes less. Just visited this truck. They have a sign that has "wrong prices" for the entire menu. There is no updated price list, you just have to take their word for it. I was charged $37 for my meal. The listed prices were $26 for the steak and chicken combo, $2 upcharge for the fried rice and $5 for the lemonade. I asked where the additional $4 came from. She initially said it was for taxes but when I pointed to the sign that said "taxes included" she then she said the prices were updated on the sign but the price is actually $32. If that was the case then my total would have been $39. They're scammers and I don't even want to get into the terrible food. If the woman would have been more pleasant I would be able to look past the fake price updates. But she was rude and nasty and just walked away as I asked for more details. I was impressed how much food came in the hibachi plate. I ordered the lobster, shrimp, and salmon platter over noodles. Everything was great. I would have liked more seasoning on the salmon but the lobster and shrimp with the garlic butter sauce made up for the lack of seasoning on salmon. Plus the yum yum sauce over the noodles is the perfect touch. The price may seem high but they pack on the food. The service was great and the food was done fresh with 15 mins. Though it was a good truck it gives you restaurant quality. They also have a small seating area if you want to eat outside. Wish I lived closer to enjoy it again. read more

I really wanted to like this but... I saw the cook pick up a bag of shrimp and pour them directly on the grill. I thought " oh no, why didn't at least rinse them off?" And sure enough the shrimp were gritty and tasteless. Then the chicken breast was also a disappointment. The pieces are big. But they were tough and also tasteless. Then there was the rice. Well you say what could go wrong. Well I also saw them taking it from a precooked source and throwing into a large vat for reheating. So this explains why it was again gummy and tasteless. Really the only thing that was good were the vegetables. Ordering a vegetable plate might really be the win here. So, I tried something new... it was a disappoint but you can't win them all. PS. I was in the area and had to swing by after seeing them on IG.
