    Al pastor tacos

I have been supporting taco dollar since high school. I remember when they were on Inglewood blvd and you had to hope there was parking in the small lot. They've come a long way! Of course, they're not $1 anymore lol. I have always loved their spicy cucumbers. This spot was a go to on late nights. They're not the best tacos in the world, but they're good for a quick bite especially when everything else is closed

Tres tacos de carnitas -- tender, tasty.

Where do I start? We came to town on a short vacation and really wanted tacos in the middle of the night. Taco Dollar was open late and had high recommendations so we headed over. So glad we did. Everything is fresh, reasonably priced, and oh so good!! We liked our snack last night so much, we came back for dinner today.

12$ nachos. Scrapped off all the meat because they gave me stale tostadas and chop them off as "chips" smh !

This place is trash now ! It used to be the spot back in the day. The lady taking orders is rude. I ordered some alpastor nachos boy those were the worse nachos ever. They gave me stale tostadas cup up in "chips" so mad at this. Ugh why couldn't they just say we have no chips I would had order some other thing. They have Numero 1 and Northgate across from them go buy some. This place was great a few years back now is just lame. I was too far off to go back. I hate to waste food so I picked out all the meat and ate it with a fork. This is what $12 got me. Beyond pissed as I love nachos :( but if you love nachos and want some good ones hit up Tacos los Carnalillos by the 110 freeway of Vernon and Figueroa St

    Found it!

48 degrees at 1am in December That's how cold it was...standing outside... waiting for my order at a taco truck in Los Angeles... I had just landed at LAX, picked up my rental car, and wanted a small dinner. In-N-Out was about to close in a couple of minutes... then... I saw this truck along the way. There was a line of customers, so must be good, right? I took a chance, parked in a parking lot, and walked up to the window. Thank goodness the gal could speak English! (When ready for pick up, order numbers were called out in both Spanish and English!) I got the lengua (moist and tender), carnitas (tasty), and al Pastor (smokey with a slight yummy crunch)! Wow! The plate included some crispy, lightly salted tortilla chips...mmm! Everything was so flavorful that I didn't need any condiments. The double corn tortillas were sturdy and held them all together! The total came out to $4.50... yay! The truck was not at the listed address which is in Hawthorne. I drove there to check it out...it's a quiet area with hardly any action. This location (on Sepulveda) near the airport is better. The truck was in Westchester by In-N-Out. There were some plastic chairs for customers to have a seat while they wait for their freshly cooked meals. Maybe Taco Dollar will be here next time I visit LA? If I see it, I'll maybe try a burrito!

Codos! I don't know why I keep coming back!!!!

I'm sick of this cheap shit! I don't know why I keep coming back to your shitty ass truck. NOW things have change I understand THAT COVID must not let you proceed like before but why the fuck sell tacos if you're gonna be stingy with the f*** sauce Like who the f** don't give out sauce for some tacos! Like it's so frustrating I swear there is times where I just let it go but today, today was the day I let you cheap asses know #TacosEstiloGuadalajara 100% recommended I'm over you " Taco dollar " Nasty ass Carne btw. I'm over here rambling over some sauce ok. I'm done

$1 TACOS?? Say no more. So happy I found this gem so close to my workplace! | l o c a t i o n | Located near LAX in the Inglewood area. You can't miss the truck because of the blinking lights. Parking is either street parking or in the lot right next to the truck. | m e n u | It's quite simple - tacos are $1 ($2 for the "specialty" ones). They are just SO GOOD. There's a variety of meat you can choose from. I usually only get carne asada and pastor because those are my favorite. The condiment bar offers onions, cilantro, radishes, and 3 salsas - spicy red, verde, and avocado. They have the salsas in the condiment dispensers/pumps which is a lot more convenient and clean than how most trucks have the sauces out in the open with the ladles. They also have burritos, tortas, mulitas, and quesadillas. | t l ; d r | CHEAP, AUTHENTIC, AND DELICIOUS TACOS. PSA: cash only.

This is awful, do you see this is what they call birria. I don't write review La and especially not bad one because I like to see people make a living. But come now this is horrible. This is store bought hard shell at best. Nothing Birria. They need do better.

Randomly stopped here to get tacos while waiting for a flight to arrive. It was parked near LAX close to the in n out and Ralph's. I had 4 tacos: 2 lengua, 2 pastor. Came out to be $6. He also gave me some tortilla chips to my surprise. Cucumbers are pretty hot. Pretty good amount of meat. I could really taste the marinade on the pastor. Tacos were good overall. If i saw the truck and was hungry i would stop by here again, but i probably wouldn't seek it out.

BEST TACOS! The name says it all...$1 tacos ($2 for some specialty ones). The tacos are authentic, cheap, and delicious. You can get so many for such a cheap price. I like the asada the best, the carnitas and the pastor are also really tasty! I tried the shrimp this past time but thought it was okay. I would stick to the meat tacos. They have a bunch of sauces and sides like radish and spicy cucumbers on the side of the truck. When you're done with your tacos you can get churros or fruits next "door". The churros are $1 for a bag for 4 sticks. Such a great deal! My friends and I love this place.

Don't go here! Very bad customer service by this woman!

First time at Martin's and we will definitely be back to try some more options…read more Food: ° Taco Sampler - you get 6 tacos (2) Al Pastor, (2) Asada, (2) Chicken with guacamole, pico de gallo, cilantro, onions, and lime. These tacos were so good. Great flavor on all of them but my favorite was the al pastor and pineapple. Great choice for small groups. ° Ceviche Camaron Con Mango - this was my favorite of the day. The flavor was so good and it was a large portion, it came with sliced cucumbers dipped in tajin on the side. The dish had avocado slices with mango sauce smothered on top. The Tostadas were made fresh. Loved this dish. It's a must try. ° Chips and Salsa - the salsa is everything. You can literally put it on anything and everything. I cant believe how good it tasted. It's smoky, mild heat with a good mild consistency. We put it on the tacos and it changed everything. I would buy this salsa!! We also added guacamole and heads up it could use some salt and lime to enhance the flavor so we added it in ourselves. ° Steak Fajitas - This plate was so hot and stayed hot the entire time. The meat was well seasoned and they give you plenty for one person. The tortillas come wrapped in thin paper to keep them warm and you get rice and beans with sour cream and pico. It's a must try. Really good. ° Baked Salmon Roll (Sushi) - The roll was big and had flavor you get about 8 pieces and the salmon is cooked table side with a torch. This gives you the option to cook the salmon to your liking. I chose medium toasted. It's a really cool experience. The flavor was great I would order this again. They do need to get better soy sauce cups, the ones they have are too deep and its really a salsa bowl. ° Combination Plate - you can choose 2 or 3 items so of course I chose 3 items. A chicken Enchilada, Hard Shell Taco (chicken), and a Chile Rellano with red sauce, and Rice and beans, the red sauce had a strong tomato base that I didn't really like too much but the Enchilada, and Chile Rellano was still pretty good. The portions are just right and the plate stayed hot. ° Drinks - we ordersd a Strawberry Frozen Margarita, and a Cadillac Margarita both can be ordered in large sizes which we did and when i say those are large drinks, those are large drinks. The bar tenders was quick too and the drinks was made just right. Service: The staff did a great job and seated us quickly, he was polite, attentive, and checked on us when he saw plates empty or us looking for assistance. The staff was great!! Atmosphere: The restaurant has a good vibe with plenty of TV's to watch sports, the bar is big and their is plenty of seating its a pretty big restaurant but it is split into two different sides. So if your looking for a place with space for big groups they can accommodate. They also have music playing but not too loud so conversations are easier. Location: It's on La Brea Ave in inglewood CA near the corner of Regent St. Price: The prices are fair. It's about $20-$30 per person. Parking: The parking sucks. It's really bad but you can park around the corner on the street. It is paid meter parking.

This place is a gem. Of course, I had to start with a margarita served in one of those huge goblet glasses, and wow--it did not disappoint. Strong, smooth, and full of flavor. My wife, who's pregnant, ordered a virgin cocktail, and honestly, it was just as impressive. It was refreshing, well-balanced, and fairly priced (which is rare for non-alcoholic drinks). For food, we went all in. My wife ordered the fish taco meal, which was generous and packed with flavor. The portions were no joke. Our son got the kids burrito, and it was massive--definitely not your average "kids meal." I went with the quesabirria tacos from the appetizer menu, and they were perfect for my appetite. Rich, flavorful, and satisfying without being too heavy. The ambiance really stood out. It strikes a great balance between authentic Mexican culture and a modern, clean dining experience. It's the kind of place that feels lively and welcoming without being overwhelming--perfect for a casual night out or even a small celebration. Service was top-tier. The staff was attentive without hovering, quick with recommendations, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about the customer experience, which goes a long way. Parking is a bit limited right in front, but there's plenty of street parking and nearby lots, so it's manageable. Bonus: right next door is Drobe Stogie Cigar Lounge, which is a great spot to check out if you enjoy cigars. It's the perfect way to wind down after a solid meal. Overall, the pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and this is easily becoming one of our go-to spots for nights out. Highly recommend.

We were staying near LAX and I didn't want to drive too far, so we stumbled upon this Mexican spot in the cutest little downtown area ever. El Segundo, you are THAT b*tch! We arrived around 5:30 on a Saturday and were seated immediately (thank goodness). Our server was super duper friendly and even had multiple conversations with us throughout the meal, sharing anecdotes and talking to my tattoo artist friend about getting a tat from her LOL. We quickly ordered some chips and queso (not free) and were blown away by how creamy and tasty the queso was. The tortas were also delicious and easy to scoop a lot of cheese on to. On to the menu, they had a good variety of Mexican dishes, but the price point, man. I thought $4-5 a taco at Barrio Queen in Arizona was steep, but this place charged $7-8 for a single small taco. I would've been okay with any menu item since it's Mexican and nothing under that cuisine could be bad, but seeing each enchilada over $30, made me steer clear of the main entree dishes. I also knew I wanted to try fish tacos, so I just opted for one fish taco and one grilled taco, with a side of mashed black beans. Crazy that some black beans also were at least $5. The fish taco was nicely battered and the guacamole was ripe and creamy, but the grilled chicken taco was nothing spectacular. There was also cauliflower tacos and beef brisket tacos ordered among us. My friend who ordered the beef brisket taco rated it 7.5/10, whereas the cauliflower tacos were rated 9/10. The food also took at least 20 minutes to arrive at the table. Both sauces my tacos came with were extremely spicy so I didn't even touch those. My friends enjoyed their meals, and the side of green rice two of them got was rather tasty. Overall, our server was the best part of the experience. She really ate DOWN, whereas our food and the price point did not.
