Delicious food, the best Clamato I've ever had in my life- you can't taste the fresh lime juice. The grill fish taco is half a fillet of fish, huge! The burritos and filled with meat! Ceviche tastes so fresh!!!!

My husband loves their campechana and fish tacos here! While their prices have increased significantly, the quality and portion sizes remain the same. We ordered six fish tacos and a medium mixed seafood cocktail, which came to a total of $48. They accept both cash and card payments.

If you're in the area this is a good ol basic, simple and yummy seafood spot. Portions are good for the price. The aguachiles was HOT as the Fffff the day I was there, I'm sure it varies depending on how long that batch was marinating. But today it was hot! This is a food truck on the side of the road. There is a couple of tables and chairs. Nothing more to explain about that. Nothing fancy. The people are nice and patient as I had 100 questions. A good stop of you want to grab and go. Worth checking out.

Oh this food truck!!! So I've been on a mission to find some really good fish tacos lately. I've tried a few of the local favorites in Oceanside, Vista and San Marcos. Now I've been to San Felipe and all over Baja and have had some really good authentic Mariscos and fish tacos. While some of the local favorite are good, so far Mariscos German is the best!!!! Not just for the quality(which is top notch), or the quantity(big portions) but also the value (the price including all the above can't be beat!!!). So let me stop hyping this place up and get to the damn food already. The fish tacos are $2 each and are about twice the sizes of any place Ive been to so far. Big pieces of fish and the batter on the fish is so freakin good. If there is a better fish taco out there I haven't found it yet and for the size of them for $2 bucks it's hands down the best!! Now to the Mariscos!! So the ceviche or tostadas they call them is absolutely the BOMB!! You get a nice tray full of ceviche and about 3 fresh fried tostadas (some other places that were good had horrible store bought tostadas). Now this ends up being a lot of ceviche as there is more than 3 tostada worth so no need to ration eat. The fish is $4.25, shrimp is 4.75 and the mixed(with all kinds of seafood) is a little more. I have paid twice as much at other places like Miramar fish tacos for example and was not impressed. I have yet to try the shrimp cocktail but I can only imagine it does not disappoint. The carne asada taco (my friend ordered this by the way so don't trip lol) was about 5 bucks but was so huge it was at least 2 tacos in one. The surf and turf though only comes with a few shrimp but is still the bomb. Also after you order they will give you a cup of soup (caldo) which has a big ass whole shrimp in it and some veggies. It's pretty damn good too. So to end this long ass review (because I could go on and on about this place!!) I will say this is by far is one of the best Mariscos in all of north county, food truck or not. The days of the roach coach are long gone and this truck has got it goin on!!! Check out the pics and go there yourself and be the judge!!!

We are so glad we stopped by. The service and quality are top of the line. They gave us free soup before we ordered. A seafood treasure with all their seafood represented. My wife had their shrimp taco. I order the fish burrito. The seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly. Both where huge. We will be back.

This used to be my go to , but today I don't know if they were in a rush ... But the aguachiles were made with old limes... You can tell by the taste Such a disappoiment the quality of the food went down ...

I think the prices are fair and the food is fresh. The location is a bit quiet and the neighborhood is not very welcoming, but it is very safe. I'll be back to try other things

    Weird custom item?

During my visit, service was excellent. They have a photo opportunity backdrop inside, and our server kindly offered to take several pictures of us with my phone for our happy hour gathering. Our food and cocktails were good. I ate a bowl of delicious clam chowder. I wish there were more clams than potatoes, but the taste was very good. You could also get it in a sourdough bowl! My friends ordered the calamari and the shrimp. They were both satisfied with their choices. There is full bar. We drank margaritas. I've been here many times and the food is consistently excellent. The seafood is fresh, portions are generous, and the staff always makes you feel welcome. My favorites are the fish and chips and the ceviche. Whether you're stopping by for lunch, dinner, or bringing friends from out of town, Seven Seas is one of the best places to eat in Downtown Vista. I love supporting local businesses, and Seven Seas is exactly the kind of family-owned restaurant that makes the Vista Village area special. Highly recommend for anyone searching for seafood in Vista, restaurants in Downtown Vista, or a great local dining experience in North County San Diego.

We love the taco combo as you can try a shrimp taco and a fish taco. The meats are very tender and flavorful and filling. Surprisingly, the sourdough bread bowl tasted more spectacular than the chowder. Although the soup had clean ingredients, it's runny and a little bland. Fortunately, that fresh, flavorful sourdough bread had a happy crunch while also coveting that bold sourdough flavor. YUM! I arrived at Pelly's Fish Market & Cafe (Carlsbad) on a Saturday (around 12:55PM). Parking is easy. The lot is very big. Customers order at the counter, and Staff brings the food to your table. Staff is polite enough. Staff had a very laid back, casual presence. The male staff member just appeared & plopped the food on the table before strolling over to chat with another customer. The clam chowder bowl arrived in 15 minutes. As mentioned, I appreciated the Boston Clam Chowder Bread Bowl ($16.99). The soup was unremarkable, but the sourdough bread is phenomenal. I liked how the clam chowder is peppery and piping hot, but it's also fairly bland and runny. It had a very watery consistency. Thankfully, that fresh sourdough saved this meal. On ambiance, Pelly's Fish Market & Cafe (Carlsbad) is clean and comfortable. There's plenty of tables. There's also a gender neutral restroom in the back. Overall, Pelly's Fish Market & Cafe (Carlsbad) is a good option. It's not the most remarkable, but it's a solid option. I had a good experience. 4.4 out of 5
