Caldo de pescado & Tacos de carne Asada
Greg E.

Food and staff are wonderful. Such good food from the Camarones al Mojo de ajo , fish soup, and ceviche is very tasty. For a seafood restaurant there carne asada tacos are great .

Tacos gobernador

The tacos gobernador here are excellent--some of the best I've had, which is the main reason I keep coming back. The food is always well-prepared and flavorful. However, the service needs improvement. The lady who usually serves has a consistently bad attitude, and it's the same every time I visit. The quality of the food is great, but the customer service definitely affects the overall experience. Also they really need to clean the place, looks a little dirty.

My friends and I came to celebrate a birthday today. This location is low-key, and there's never a wait. The servers are friendly and the food is always made to order. We ordered some of our usuals: queso, ceviche, nachos, bacon wrapped shrimps, and seasoned grilled fish. Everything was delicious! We highly recommend getting their house chili oil to go with the fish. Their salsa is insanely spicy and satisfying. The ceviche portion is hugeeeeeeeeeeee. Their carne asada is also quite amazing for a seafood spot. We've been coming here for years, but I keep forgetting to write a review. The restaurant isn't fancy, but we can count on eating some tasty food here.

Great food, good prices, AWESOME service and good vibes. What could be better? We had chicken fajitas, ceviche, and a get this, a cheeseburger w/cabbage and it was DELICIOUS! All food items were cooked to perfection and the food portions were so large that we ended you taking a little of everything home. Location is clean but it can definitely use a makeover to make it more appealing. This was a positive dining experience.

Their famous fish taco What is wrong with them It seems like they have forgotten the fish in it And the price is ridiculous.

The service for some reasons is good but the fish tacos are sad and miserable poor on fish and full of vegetables. Is like you are ordering veggie tacos with a touch of fish .

Popped in here randomly while running an errand. The restaurant is nothing fancy and most of the staff do not speak English. I ordered a burrito and let me just say... I've had a lot of burritos growing up in Los Angeles all my life and this one, this one was the best ever! Hot, fresh, delicious ingredients. Neat but huge, and juicy. Everything you could ever want in a burrito. The carne asada had so much flavor. I hope to come here again one day.

Fajitas Mixtas

Friendly staff and a cozy setting. Plenty of parking in this shopping center. The micheladas were good big and cold! Ordered botana de aguachiles and the mixed fajitas. The aguachiles were delicious and very spicy. Good and enjoyable but beware. The fajitas were good and tasty as well, it comes with a cheese quesadilla and it was great. Comes with handmade tortillas and were soooo good. For this cheesy guy the quesadilla was my favorite. Also, will go back for their weekday 2 for one specials. Great deals.

The food is good the waitress Catalina ,was attentive friendly and nice ,I recommend the Camarones Costa Azul plate .

Everything about this place is on point. From the asada soft tacos to the hard shell shredded beef…read moretacos to the pastor tacos and watermelon juice. I come here frequently... The asada is premium steak chunks that is superior to any other asada you would get from a regular taco spot. The watermelon juice is one of the most refreshing drinks one could get on a hot day. The hard shell crunchy shredded beef tacos are so huge, i got full off one on one visit to thus spot. The nachos are heavy as hell and totally worth ordering. The service can take a little bit if time if there is other cars in the drive thru... but, it's well worth the wait. If you hungry... this place will not disappoint. This will not only fill your hunger, it will change your life. Good food, great service, friendly employees. Try the Habanero hot sauce while you are there. That hot sauce is one of my favorites. Do yourself a favor and try this amazing fast food spot.

I heard this is one of the best spots for hard tacos, so I had to try it for myself. The tacos were…read morepretty good, and I'd get them again. I'd recommend eating them right away since they get soggy fast. I'd also order a la carte, as I wasn't a fan of the rice and beans (too salty for my taste). The burrito was good, and I'd probably get it again. The flautas use the same shredded beef as the tacos and also got soggy quickly, so again, best to eat them right away. I wasn't a fan of the salsa though, but I had king taco's green salsa which went great with the tacos.

I would've rated this a 5 star but had to knock one star off…read more I came with my family who tried the place just a day before and told us how amazing it was so we had to try it out. It was next to the mall so we can hangout before and after dinner. It was confusing, the building of the place is connected to another restaurant on the other side so we didn't realize until after parking and had to earl around to find the entrance. Upon entering, it was dark and resembled a bar setting, a little stuffy and loud. Luckily our table was outside so after sitting, it wasn't as loud. We were a pretty large group, we got chips and salsa on the table and our other half group was running a bit late. So we ordered for the whole table and kept a menu in case the m others want to order too. The reason for the one star off is how hard it was to get a server to help, we got plates for our food but no utensils, we wanted more chips but someone had to point out another server will help instead, and only one (maybe manager) was really helpful and quick but we only saw them once. Maybe it was busy so they were all working but we felt a bit ignored for a while. My uncle wanted to order a breakfast dish but we didn't realize breakfast was only until a certain time because our server said no breakfast. We ordered a lot of food too, enough to bring back for us all to have lunch the next day. We got Tablón el Paisa, Molcajete regular, and other dishes across the other table. The cheese was super delicious when hot, once it's cold it's hard to share without a knife. My favorite is the quesadilla I used to make a burrito out of all the meats and guacamole. The pork was delicious and my son ate a lot of it. The bacon shrimp was a bit hard, chewy, and dry, had to dip it in sauce. Everything else was delicious and would definitely comeback but on a less busy day to see if service is better! Restrooms were inside and so a bit of a walk from the patio into a log hallway.

Since then we've felt absolutely nauseous and my two sons eventually vomited this morning around 5:00AM. My boys had the kids pizza with fries and a free ice cream that came with the kids order, I ordered the taquitos appetizer. The only food items all three of us shared were the chips and salsa, the french fries that came with the pizza, and the ice cream. Have never liked El Pescador, only went to watch the Mundial, but now getting possible food poisoning has been the icing on top. Will not be eating here any time soon, hopefully ever again. Also, total was like $50 for a kids meal and appetizer, which genuinely weren't good. I took the majority of our food home as left-overs.

I enjoyed my meal. Also, had lunch for the next day. Service was amazing, it was a busy night and they had plenty of servers. Drinks were never left empty and all employees were very content on helping all of us. In the way of ambience, this place has lots of seating indoors and a few tables outdoors. Be prepared for a little bit of a wait, depending on the time of day but well worth it. While we were there, they had several birthdays celebrated. With a little song and a little dessert.
