    2x FLAUTAS W/ GUACAMOLE
    Donna S.

I heard this is one of the best spots for hard tacos, so I had to try it for myself. The tacos were pretty good, and I'd get them again. I'd recommend eating them right away since they get soggy fast. I'd also order a la carte, as I wasn't a fan of the rice and beans (too salty for my taste). The burrito was good, and I'd probably get it again. The flautas use the same shredded beef as the tacos and also got soggy quickly, so again, best to eat them right away. I wasn't a fan of the salsa though, but I had king taco's green salsa which went great with the tacos.

I come here often for the taquitos and their salsas are pretty good. Taquitos are fried just right and never hard or stale.

This Rero's is in West Covina. We don't get out there a lot, but we have been twice, once to eat there and one to take away. This place is just as good as the one in the Marina. I have seen they have been cited by the City for violations. For me, the two times I have been there, it is clean and the place is very cute and comfortable. The service is really nice. They pay attention to you when you tell them what you don't want on an item and what you do want. They are patient and kind. The food here is great. They make great tacos, taquitos and their guacamole is so so good. We also love their burritos and enchiladas. The prices are very fair and we will be back when we are in town.

    Nachos

Ordered the Al pastor nachos to go and asked for all the sides in separate containers. Went to heat it up later at home and the nachos tasted amazing! The Al pastor was flavorful and wasn't dry. They use actual cheese instead of nacho cheese as well. The ingredients tasted fresh and you can ask them for different salsas for free. The nachos also came with jalepenos. This was definitely enough to feed two people. They have a small parking lot and some seats outside the store. Service was excellent. Would definitely come back!

If it didn't have salsa, it would be horrible

Reros is usually my to go spot for crunchy tacos, and they never disappoint. So I decided to give their breakfast burrito a try. It was basic as hell. No flavor, no seasoning, and had to be saved by the salsa. One other thing, they never get the salsa order right. You ask for red, they give you green. You ask for 4, they give you 2. Little things like that matter. I also don't think I'll be back til they get that fuc*ing C up on their health inspection.

Ok and convenient, nice that there's a drive through. We were going east and decided to stop by for some quick breakfast burritos. Ordered online - 1 bacon and 1 chorizo/bacon with salsa. It came with chips and the salsa was solid (has 4 kinds) but the bacon burrito potatoes were too big for my liking and the chorizo burrito was really oily. It satisfied our craving but not sure if it'd be my preference if I had more time to pick a spot for BBs.

One of the best Mexican spots in all of LA! Friendliest staff, updated and modern interior, and food so good it would rival your abuela's cooking. Amazing aguafrescas as well, very wide variety. I stop here every time I'm in LA, 5/5 Stars!

Rero's has been around for a minute. On my way home from a long evening of shopping for theme outfits for my kids , I was huuuuungry and pulled into the drive thru. I was greeted with patience as the attendant tolerated me going back and forth with my kids to settle their order: bean and rice burrito, carne asada fries for myself, and a formidable taco salad for wee one. Food was hot and good! I think I had about 3 lbs of food in carne asada fries - a huge portions that I didn't finish. Pictures will tell you just how generous the serving was with all the toppings -- deeelish! I'd get this again but share it with someone. lol!

The service is always great. Friendly and fast. The pricing is reasonable and the food is amazing. The hard shell shredded beef tacos are my favorite with the green or habanero sauce. Absolute perfection. They have a double drive thru and a small patio with seating. Highly recommend

Drove through here to pick up some burritos for lunch. Our order was placed for a carne asada burrito and an al pastor burrito. Service was fairly quick and the burritos were stuffed pretty full. I liked the big, tender pieces of meat in each burrito and the spicy flavor was great!

BREAKFAST BURRITO on a 10 inch paper plate.

In short - I think this a pretty good Lucky Boy Breakfast Burrito Competitor on the East Side of the SGV! So this place is near the West Covina Mall and it's a pretty small place. There is no indoor section but there is outdoor seating. Most of the people I've seen go through the drive through here. I ordered the breakfast burrito and I was able to choose two toppings without extra charge. I ordered the bacon and sausage breakfast burrito. By default it comes with beans but I think in the future I will skip the beans. There are 4 different salsas that you can choose from and there is like a mild, green, hot, and habanero. I asked how many sauces I can get and if it costs more to get extra salsas. I was told I can get as many as I want so I tried the first 3 minus the habanero. I would say that's A+ service since most places charge you for extra salsas. I got 6 salsas and I would have to say my favorite one is between the mild and the hot. The "hot" isn't super spicy and it's around medium. The burrito itself was huge and nicely packed. They didn't skimp on any of the ingredients. It was nice and big and it barely fit on a 10 inch paper plate. After eating around 7/8ths of it I was really stuffed. It passed the test of not feeling hungry after eating it. On top of this, they also gave free tortilla chips and it goes great with the salsa. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Good sized breakfast burritos and a great value. No extra charges on the salsa is a huge plus!! I would get at least 3 salsas as the cups are small and don't hold much. You also need salsa for the chips! Service is also quick going through the drive through. A 5/5 place for sure.

Hello, We make it with beef

Do you use lard in any of your items?

They said they use lard in their beans, so not vegetarian or vegan-friendly.

Dow this place make their own flour and corn tortillas?

Does anyone have the number to this place??? bc I looked it up on yelp! no business number found? They forgot my fries and I was so having a craving for those. I don't feel like driving back up there

The staff are very welcoming and genuinely warm. The restaurant has cozy and inviting ambience. Outdoor and indoor seating are available. I placed an online order for pickup. It was fast and convenient since I had friends coming for dinner. I ordered the following: - Burrito Panchon 5/5 Stuffed with carnita, beans and rice, served with cream, beans and guacamole. Huge portion! You can choose your protein. - Fajitas Cielo Mar Y Tierra 5/5 Marinated beef, shrimp, chicken. It served with sauteed bell peppers tomatoes and onions, rice, guacamole, beans and pico de gallo. It was smoky, savory and flavorful. - Vegetarian Enchiladas 5/5 Corn tortillas stuffed with bell pepper, corn, onion, carrot, cilantro, squash, and topped with a combination of cream and jack cheese. It was such a delicious dish. - Empanadas 5/5 I chose chicken empanadas. It served with salad. The empanadas was crispy from outside and very flavorful. - Ensalada de Nopales 5/5 Diced cactus mixed with tomatoes, onion, lime, and cilantro. - Taquitos 5/5 It was crispy from outside with savory and juicy filling. - Taco de Cameron , taco de Pescado & taco de Birria 5/5 They were savory, juicy and delicious. - Beans 5/5 Topped with melted cheese, really delicious - Large Bionico Bowl 5/5 Fresh fruits like topped strawberries, mango, cantaloupe, banana, papaya, blueberries, apples, pineapple topped with granola and shaved coconut. It was rich, creamy. The fruits were fresh and sweet. It was heavenly! Every box was wrapped with layers of plastic wrap perfectly. Now the food.... I had the Chon's Breakfast Comal. The chorizo was ok. Lacked quite a bit of flavor. Potatoes tasted kinda like they were boiled and then finished in a sauce, then plated. The bell peppers and onions were fantastic. A lot. But they were cooked well. Over easy eggs were decent, despite one of them being cooked all the way through. Comal was perfect temperature. But insanely greasy (which is expected from chorizo). Rice. Eh... Rice is rice. Wasn't bad. But was all "Oh my goodness this is amazing." Beans tasted like the refried Rosarita's can. Just topped with cheese. The salsa. It was pretty good. The 1st time. Until I found a hair. Then I was given a 2nd one. And when I decided to eat it, it was no good. It was starting to spoil. I realized this once I put it on a bite I was about to take and immediately put it in my food i was about to chew in my napkin. After about 15 minutes when my server finally came by, I told her of the situation. She said "I'll go check." Then disappeared. Someone else gave me the check, and then someone else brought the receipt. The initial server didn't pop up until I was getting up to walk out. So no manager interaction. No "we'll comp your coffee." Just a "Sorry you didn't like it." As I walked out. Ambiance is cool, but some table placement doesn't make sense. That needs to be addressed. Will I come back here? I don't know. Maybe. Maybe not. But I'm talking like 80 no /20 yea. So I guess we'll see.. So I'm giving this place 1 star. I'm sorry, but this is my opinion based on my 1st experience here. Maybe it'll be better. We'll see....

When I was a little kid, my dad loved going to El Loco for the machaca burritos. I remember them being really good, although in fairness, my palate at the time was probably not exactly Michelin ready. So when I realized this El Loco was still around, I had to come check it out for old time's sake. I went with the chili relleno burrito, and I'm happy to report that it was delicious. And enormous. This thing was so big I could probably take a nap on it. It was cheesy, packed with flavor, and just plain old satisfying. There is one little caveat, though. I noticed the total seemed too high when I paid, and sure enough, I had been overcharged by about four bucks. I pointed it out, and the woman immediately apologized and said she'd made a mistake. I don't think there was anything nefarious going on, but it did leave me wondering how often a mistake like that goes unnoticed when someone isn't paying close attention. So, you know, maybe keep an eye on your receipt. Still, that's a relatively minor ding on what was otherwise a really good experience. The burrito was great, the nostalgia was strong, and I got to revisit a place that I remember from when dinosaurs still roamed the earth. And here's a fun little piece of movie trivia: Good Burger, starring Kenan Thompson, was filmed at this very location. So you can come here for a chili relleno burrito and get your Nickelodeon nostalgia on. That's a pretty solid afternoon.
