Been around quite awhile, locals know - quick, easy good food. Can drive thru or eat in.

I ordered super nachos with extra cheese, extra meat and extra sour cream. The Meat was plentiful but shaved and overcooked :( I spent a decent amount for those nachos and despite the sign proudly proclaiming angus beef served here, I walked away feeling disappointed. I understand the current economic situation cause businesses to cut corners but the meat was crunchy!!! Yuck!!!!! I won't be back :/ Maybe watch the meat while cooking? I mean I was literally the only person there! Cook needs to be more attentive to the shaved meat better suited for a cheesesteak rather than nachos! After eating 1/2 of it it was thrown in the trash which to be honest is where it rightfully belonged. There are better places and I'll patronize them. Ramiro's, you definitely need to do improve if they want to stay open!!! Now I understand why the parking lot was empty when I arrived! Locals know better!!! read more

I ordered food to be delivered by doordash 5 taquitos and one order of carne asada fries. They didn't put any salsa in our order. What the heck is Mexican food without salsa, bland, terrible. I almost didn't eat my taquitos. To top it off both myself and my son got sick from the food immediately Let's just say it went right through us. we didnt finish the food and we didn't eat it later and that's something we always do. Yea it's a kind of hole-in-the-wall-ish Mexican joint. But the food here is pretty darned good for a quick-stop in the way to somewhere. My favorite thing here is the rolled tacos. In fact, these are my favorite in the west valley for a fast bite. They're good because they are loaded with shredded beef and cooked to perfection. They are then topped with an excellent guacamole sauce and lots of cheese. Combine that with the slightly-bitey green salsa and you've got yourself an excellent meal. And all for $7. Ramiro's has other stuff and most of it is above average. Their beans are really good and their rice is pretty standard. Good aguas frescas for those 118-degree July days. This location is centrally located in Goodyear. They have a small drive-through and the location is actually a lot smaller than most locations I have been to. But overall they have all the yummy fast food Mexican food expect from every other Ramiros. I usually always go for the same carne asada tacos or asada burritos. I've also tried their custom made breakfast burritos are the best because you can actually put in exactly what you want. Personally I start with the flower tortilla scrambled eggs carne asada pico de gallo avocado cotija cheese and of course their red salsa, it is so so good you have to try it. I didn't give it more stars because The location is pretty old. You can see the worn down tables, floors and even bathrooms. Also, The prices are a bit more than your usual fast food, in my opinion it's the same quality as every other fast food place. There's a family owned Mexican restaurant around the corner from here and they have real homemade options not just the usual menu. Their prices are better and they get a full house every day. The Phoenix area has many taco shops but most are average at best. Ramiro's was a pleasant surprise and worthy of repeat visits. The biggest positive at Ramiro's were the women that worked the morning shift. They were energetic and happy which in turn was expressed in the quality of food here. I'm here basically every morning. The variety of breakfast burritos gives me options for something different each day. I like to add beans to each burrito because they are just that good. Id like to start by saying, I REALLY love this place and I've always had Great food when visiting there. Whether I have dined in or gone through the drive through, we always get what we ask for an always have a great food experience. I have had the carne asada fries, super nachos, breakfast burritos, beef tacos, burritos and my Absolute FAVORITE their quesabirria tacos. I will always go back for their tacos, and the prices seems very fair, mostly lower than any chain restaurant. Customer service is always friendly and helpful, and usually seem to smile back at us. I have been through his drive-thru a lot for a long time. They are fast and good! Love love the breakfast burritos: Sausage, Eggs, and Cheese sometimes I add potatoes. Ham, Eggs, and Cheese is yummy. After reading great reviews, tried breakfast today, but disappointing! Very bland tasting, sausage and ham burritos both tasteless. They were hot and large. But not eaten so a waste of money. This was my first visit to Ramiros. The restraunt is small. However, the staff is friendly and accomdating, and thats why I feel terriberible having to say the food just wasn't very good. On this visit we ordered chips/salsa, beef tacos, a beef burrito, and a carnitas burrito. The salsa/chips were okay. I was disappointed with the carnitas burrito as I was with the beef burrito, the meat was somewhat dry and slightly overcooked. The burritos are packed full of meat but lacked any other ingredients. I think the burrito would have been flavorful had it had a little more pico de gallo and seasoning as would the beef burrito. The pricing is very wallet friendly, you can get a better Mexican meal, but you'll have a hard time getting more food for the price. read more

Went there hoping to find some auténtica comida mexicana! Sooooooooo glad we stopped by it! Food was delicious, fast and shit I was sooooo full and kept eating more! It was that good! While sitting there and stuffing my fat face the place got so busy and people in and out in and out non stop, that usually shows when a place knows wtf they're doing. I had an authentic carne asada plate and everything on that place tasted delish! This place has great food. Hands down the best and I look forward to it once a week. So much so I've looked over the times that they have forgot to complete my order. Last Thursday night we ordered and they forgot to put our large super nachos in the order $15. But we ordered enough other food and did not want to go back. We called and the lady said she understood she made us aware of their 24 hour policy, but we were headed to Cali for the weekend. She said we could come in tonight and pick them up. I went in tonight and they treated me like I was trying to get something for free. I only wanted what I paid for and did not receive. Then the "manager" tried to act like she was doing me a favor like I'll do it this time.....I don't need any favors lady. So I left and spent my money at Senor Taco. This is my go to joint for carne asada. I admittedly "cheated" the other week and decided to try Chipotle's carne asada, that'll be my last time doing that lol. It was tender but lacked the juiciest and great flavor I get from Ramiro's. Not to mention it was almost $10 where I get the same thing (well, better) for under $8 at Ramiro's. If you are looking for OVER PRICED Mexican food go here! The meat was way under cooked. The tortilla practically raw. I'm not one to give a bad review unless deserved! To top it off they are charging you 0.65 for you to use your debit card. Just because they are a small business?!? Charging those types of prices for food and service they will go out of business! The food here is really good; way better than fast-food chains and about on par with Filibertos (okay, a little better). We do find ourselves driving out of the way to come to Ramiro's when we are craving Mexican food, even though Filiberto's is a little closer to our house. My favorite go-to is the Mexican Breakfast Burrito. I love that the chorizo is not super greasy like almost every other Mexican joint. The food always tastes fresh. The drive through is always slow, but worth it for the food to be fresh. They now charge an additional fee to swipe your debit/credit card so consider bringing cash. The one major gripe I have with this location is that they NEVER give me my side of guacamole. Seriously, I can't count how many times I ordered and paid for it only to get home and not have it in the bag. I know they hear me when ordering because they charge me for it on the receipt. After learning that lesson the hard way a few times, I always check before I drive away. Sure enough, almost every time I have to request it a second time because it's not in the bag. read more
