I found this awesome food truck at Point West Kaiser after an appointment…read more I bought a double order of Pork Lumpia and my goodness were they tasty. I really liked the flavor and it paired perfectly with some wasabi soy sauce and rice once I got home with my loot. I asked if he is there everyday? He replied yes, Monday - Friday 11am - 4pm I think he said. He suggested I follow their Instagram feed for current locations. I highly recommend The Lumpia Truck.

Just okay if you're vegetarian. I was hungry after my appointment at Kaiser Point West yesterday,…read moreso when I saw The Lumpia Truck parked on the street next to the parking lot I thought, hmm why not? I had not tried The Lumpia Truck before and it sounded good. The shell of the vegetarian lumpia was the best part unfortunately, and cooked perfectly. However, what was inside was a lot like someone had just poured a vegetable medley of corn, peas, and carrots inside without seasoning or anything else added for texture and flavor. I have had veggie lumpia before that had much more to offer. The sauce that came with was sort of like sweet mayo. It was also just okay but did add more flavor to the bland insides of the lumpia. It was so disappointing I probably wouldn't try it again unless I hear of a recipe change or improvement. I did find the service to be friendly and my order to be done in ten minutes as I was warned when I paid. I also appreciated the cold bottle of water for $2. Ambiance is the kind you would expect when you happen upon a food truck outside during lunchtime hours. I am also not sure what if anything offered here is vegan, just fyi. So-so experience. Maybe it's a better one for the meat eaters.

I went to get a Lobster roll + whoopie pie (nothing else) and the total was $35! It IS delicious. Still thought it was worth it. It IS lobster, you can't expect it to be cheap like chicken or beef. Just be ware of that price hike. I know they have expenses to pay. I think this product is best in middle & upper class markets. Second thing is the worker wasn't proficient in English, so we went back and forth on Google Translate trying to understand each other for simple words like 'Cole slaw', 'on the side' & 'salad'. It was a frustrating experience plus a waste of company time! Time =$$! I would go back again when I am planning on spending that much. It IS the ONLY place I can find that sells Lobster rolls. Even Red Lobster only sells it during their Lobster fest. Just gotta have the Google Translate ready to go lol

Delicious, but too small: $25 for three bites. NOT Sam's!…read moreI'd gladly pay the additional $10 to get my money's worth. The owners reply is pure B. S. Maybe he hasn't tried the lobster roll at Sam's Cowder House in Half Moon Bay: at least a half a pound of lobster! C'mon, give me a decent sized sandwich that won't leave me hungry. I'll pay for it. It's hard to want to return to your food truck, pay $25, and then still be hungry.
