Fish tacos and mixed seafood cocktail, yummm!
Lance T.

Hungry after a Costco run I searched for a nearby place for lunch. So glad I opted for this hidden gem! I had 2 fish tacos and a mix seafood cocktail. Fish inside the tacos are deep fried and garnished with all the right stuff. The Mix seafood cocktail was loaded with tasty shrimp, clams, octopus, etc. and was delicious! While I waited they gave me a complimentary cup of soup and even though we're in a humid and hot weather pattern I still gladly gulped it down my gullet! I'll def. return when I get a craving for legit mex. seafood!

They are always set up around the corner from my home. Been here for over a year and just tried for the first time. I had a fish taco (original style) and a mixed fish grill taco. The fish taco was more than legit. Fresh ingredients. The mixed grilled fish taco took up a whole plate. There was so much fish I had to make a paella out of the half I couldn't finish. Lol Shrimp, octopus, muscles, squid, scallops. So so good!

Double order of the Ceviche Tostada - plenty enough for one person!

Sooooo good and soooo cheap! One thing I noticed was I couldn't tell the difference between the shrimp and fish taco, so for me, I'll just get the fish tacos since they're cheaper and taste the same! The ceviche tostada is to die for!!! They also have the sauces out for you to take and they're so tasty. So glad I just live down the street from here. My mouth is watering just thinking of it!

So, I live smack in the middle of amazing tacos shops in South Park. Theres alot of competition out there. Back in the day there was only Benny's down the street. I have to say, each one of these places around here have something great, BUT, this mariscos truck is spectacular! I ordered a X-Large Pulpo cocktail and 2 fish tacos. 22.50 total. I was there around 1pm, a little lunch crowd and my food took about 15min or so. All I have to say is be patient it's well worth the wait. I will def be back for the oysters on a half shell!! Downside: the prices are not available on the menu. : /

DAYUM. Those fish tacos were no joke. I ordered 3 expecting to smash on them after Padres opening day and I was defeated. Came here around 9 and they were just about to close so we had to eat in the parking lot of the market with our food in the trunk of the prius but maaan thats the best kind of eating. My friend ordered the shrimp taco and it came with carne asada as well?? That thing was packed with carne! It should've been called a carne asada taco with some shrimps. Get the orange creamy sauce it goes so well with the tacos! Theres also a habanero hot sauce in a bottle that left a nice burning sensation on my tongue mmmmm hot. eat here its bomb and its cheap!

This spot is amazing!! Everything seemed to be a hit! The fish tostada was to die for! Can't forget the steak as well! We're cane all the way from New York 5 stars!

Best seafood I've had in San Diego! Must try the aguachile and fish tacos! Everything is fresh and delicious made right on the spot.

Holy fish tacos! Super affordable & delicious. A must try for food trucks if you like Mexican & seafood.

Amazing fish & shrimp tacos! Super affordable & delicious!! A must try if you like Mexican & seafood. I'm definitely going back to try more menu items, like the soup & tostadas. (Always in same location in Golden Hill)

The staff will take your order and assign you a table, so do not grab a table without their approval. The seafood all taste fresh. We love the halibut plate with lemon garlic butter. For the fish and chips, the red snapper with panko crust is our family favorite over the beer battered. Tip: we went at 2:30p thinking it is after the lunch rush, but the line was out the door on Sunday. We will stick to 15mins before they open.

I asked her what she wanted and she said, "seafood", so I immediately thought of Blue Water, and we drove right over. We parked at a metered spot nearby & walked in at 5pm. Do note that there is no dedicated parking for Blue Water, so at busy times it may be tricky to find a spot, but we had no trouble today. In the main dining ordering area & on the side patio, there were a few tables that were occupied, but there was no ordering line. All of us wanted shrimp today apparently, so my dad and I both got a shrimp taco with lemon garlic butter & my hungry mom got the shrimp platter also with lemon garlic butter. The platter came with 8 shrimp, jasmine rice, and a lovely, fresh garden salad. The server who took our order and brought it out to us was very helpful & nice. They have a ton of fresh seafood on offer though so if shrimp is not your thing, there will likely be another delightful offering from the sea that will suit your fancy. We sat in the side patio area and it was very pleasant. We enjoyed our experience this evening very much! The tacos were big and had more than 5 shrimp in them, plus cabbage, pico, cheddar cheese & white sauce. One taco was pretty decently sized. If I'd been hungrier, two tacos would've been perfect, but today, I was happy with one taco. Yum! Mom enjoyed her platter. It was beautifully prepared. Blue Water also has a decent soft drink selection and beers and wine, but we all just had their water and it was very refreshing! :) By the time we left at 5:45, a line was forming out the door, so we really came out at a good time. Peace!

Our two drinks came out quickly, our orders were accurate, and the food was fresh and flavorful. Our server was attentive, friendly, and happy to answer all of our questions, which made the experience even better. My only complaints were that the music was a bit too loud and the lighting was very dim. We ended up asking if the music could be turned down because it was difficult to have a conversation, and the low lighting made it a little hard to read the menu. Aside from those minor issues, the atmosphere was great and the overall vibe was really enjoyable. I'd definitely come back!

We put baby in high chair although baby kept trying to eat the table. We got our usual favorites (warm lobster rolls, clam chowder bowls, fried oyster, and fried clam belly). Surprisingly the clam belly was full of sand this time! Must not have soaked in water long enough, but when we told our server they swapped it out immediately. We substituted one of our coleslaw for potato salad, and one of our fries for onion rings. We definitely will continue doing so because it is nice to try out so many different dishes! As always, order the fries well-done for nice crispy fries. It's still on our to-do list to try the chicken parmesan since we've heard so many good things about it, but I really do like my Must Order dishes (listed below). Most of it was good but the fish needs to be firmer. It just fell apart and I wasn't used to that kind of texture. We sat outside in the patio area since inside seemed pretty busy. Our server was very attentive, which was especially nice since we were among the first customers there. A few things to note: there is a 90-minute dining limit, and everyone at the table shares the same seafood bag, so your group will need to agree on one sauce flavor per round. We only made it through two rounds, but everything we ordered was delicious. The fries were crispy, and the mussels, shrimp, and clams were all meaty. The sauce was flavorful and complemented the seafood well. We finished the meal with the fried Oreo and ice cream, which was the perfect sweet ending. Half of the shrimp and crawfish we had were dead, so the taste and texture wasn't there. The clams and mussels were very sandy. The sauce was good but medium spice didn't have any kick at all but the next flavor was "atomic" which is very intimidating (I regret not trying the next level up though). Plus the service was slow and parking is terrible. My favorite items were the lemon pepper wings, quail eggs, and Cajun fries though lol

If you're looking for a great date night, birthday dinner, or even a peaceful solo dinner with beautiful bay views, I'd definitely recommend this spot. A couple tips: Try to make a reservation for a table outside. They have outdoor heaters but I always try to bring a jacket just in case I get cold. Also I would recommend booking for about an hour before sunset although there really isn't a bad time to go. Yesterday when I went, it was a Sunday night so it was fairly busy. One thing to keep in mind is that the parking lot is pretty small, so I'd give yourself a little extra time in case you need to find parking nearby. They also have valet for $10 if that's easier.
