The service was 10/10 everyone was so friendly, and the owner even came by our table to check on us (love that personal touch ). The camarones cucaracha were soooo flavorful and perfectly cooked. The ceviche Sinaloa was fresh and tasty (only note: it has imitation crab). The tablitas de res were delicious and came with the perfect sides, and the micheladas... sooo good.!!! I've been going to this place since they opened, but today I decided I won't be returning to dine in -- I'll stick to ordering food only, if anything. From day one, I noticed the drink prices were always inconsistent and there are never any prices listed on the menu. Today, I ordered one beer and my fiancé ordered two Palomas. My beer was listed as $15.99, and the Palomas were the same price. I asked the waitress about the charge, because there's no way a single beer should cost $15.99. She took the receipt, rolled her eyes at me like I was the problem, and came back to tell me that yes -- both cocktails were priced correctly. At that point, I just said "Okay, I won't be coming here anymore." The drink pricing is insane -- they're charging Cowboy Stadium prices at a restaurant next to a gas station. The food is good and reminds me of "Sinaloa". My other observation: Nothing against the Venezuelans but what is the obsession with hiring Venezuelan girls for a Mexican restaurant? I seen this since the day it opened and I can tell you guys that the welcoming and service is way better from a Mexican waiter than a Venezuelan, you are targeting Mexicans costumers for mexican food, and we are getting service from Venezuelan that have the looks but not the experience or to even care that much for a tip. The food and service were great, and we enjoyed the live music. Our family was having a good time until a group of younger men began openly using drugs in the hallway by the bathroom. Staff seemed to be aware of the situation but did nothing to address it. Makes me feel that it wasn't the first time that happened.. This place is like being in Mexico. It's definitely a fun experience. The seafood was very good and fresh and service was decent. However, the restaurant is small and the music was turned up very loud so we had to shout and then they turned on the football game at full blast which was even worse. The drink prices are also outrageous. They didn't have the ingredients to make a margarita which was weird for an authentic Mexican. I ordered a mojito and a Paloma. My husband had a frozen beer-Rita and a vampiro. Each drink was between $17-$20. I should have known when there were no prices on the menu. We decided we wanted seafood AND a new-to-us place. We found Mariscos. They have an extensive menu and have seafood with Mexican-flavored dishes. I ordered Trio Ceviche which had fish, shrimp and octopus. My husband ordered Parillida Sinaloa - with beef, chicken, sausage, shrimp, tablitas, and a cheese quesadilla. Served with grilled bell pepper and onions and sauces. Complimentary tortilla chips and salsa were given. The salsa was really different. It wasn't red or green, kind of a yellow color with a little bit of a bite, but good flavor. Our order came in about 15-20 minutes. We arrived about 2 p.m. and there was only one other table there. The fajitas were still sizzling when served and my cold ceviche looked appetizing. On the menu, my ceviche was pictured in a 3-section divided platter, but mine came in one long platter with no division. This is a big mistake, because you have the juices of each different ceviche running into the other. I REALLY HATE my food running together. The shrimp ceviche was delicious. The fish was fine, but the octopus needed some work. The octopus was cubed, tough, and chewy. I love octopus and have had it in Portugal and Spain where it was perfectly prepared. I don't know if it needed to be cut thinner or maybe blanched first, but it wasn't right. My husband said the fajitas were good. His favorite was the chicken, which suprised me because he is definitely a beef man. He said the beef was a little overcooked, but the other parts were fine. Overall, if you like seafood and Mexican food, this was a nice choice. They are a little pricey, more dinner-time pricing (entrees $18-28), and they do have a bar. I'd suggest to the owners to maybe consider a lunch menu with smaller portions and a lower price point. read more

The food was edible, but they had the music so loud that we couldn't hear ourselves speak! The nice waiter turned it down some so that my 87yr old dad could hear, but evidently that ticked off the 'manager', because after about 30min, he turned it back up louder than before. We were a party of 7, celebrating Father's Day, and everyone in the party tips well. If they had let us relax and enjoy some conversation, perhaps we would have had another cocktail after dinner, which only drives up the tab, right? Imagine what a nice tip the young man would have rec'd if the 'manager' wasn't so hellbent on cranking his tunes. Mariscos Sinaloa has a good selection of seafood. The Michaela de Casa is huge and had pieces of dried fish. That was really good. The ceviche was okay, the shrimp cocktail wasn't bad, but the star of the show was the grilled octopus. I was so full from eating my ceviche but could not stop eating my friend's octopus dish. I believe the market price in June 2023 for the grilled octopus was about $30. Chill place in Little Elm. read more

Came here today for the first time, they have been in Little Elm, just recently, the food style is from Mexicos Pacific side, Sinaloa is a beautiful state with beautiful beaches and food, and we begin with the food, the food is plenty and for just about any tastes it's not all 100% Mexican, with fries and other delights This is a family place, so don't be shy to bring the kiddos, but they also have a nice selection of beers and mixed drinks. This place is on Eldorado, but can be somewhat hidden, it's near the post office next to the Chevron station, one caveat is the parking in front is limited, due to the gas station, but there is also parking in the back. That being said the food selection is huge, spiciness levels are acceptable, but you can add sauces to increase heat levels, they have some original salsa Huichol from the pacific, Huichol are natives of Mexico from that area. The wife had the Camarones Ala diabla (Devil shrimp) they were Super tasty and more garlic than heat and I appreciated that, this plate in other places is unedible due to the heat level,,here its perfect, the rice was perfect, the wife loved it. I had the seafood tower, which I thought was a bit smaller than anticipated, but trust me it was more than enough, very good ceviche type mix, set up as a tower, the black sauce it comes with was very good. To drink the wife had the agua de Jamaica (Hibiscus drink) I has a Pacifico beer michelada, it came topped with cucumber and jicama slaw in a nice spicy sauce. And to close it out we had a cheese cake which was good a d not overly sweet, this is a welcome edition to Little Elm, and if people go, they won't be disappointed, should do well. read more

Came at 8:40pm when me and my sister walked in we spoke and smiled no one spoke back the bartender looked at us like we were crazy for speaking. We were going to sit at the bar and order food but was told no they are closed and we can only order Togo even though online says 10pm. When I mentioned the hours online saying 10pm the gentleman said he guess they changed the hours. I did not feel welcomed at all felt very out of place was not a welcoming or friendly environment! TERRIBLE SERVICE! We arrived at around 3 PM, with only one other table occupied with at least 5 waitresses available. Both my husband and I have been waiters so our expectations aren't unreasonable. We understand that the waitress can only control what she can control (i.e. not including the bar, the kitchen, etc.) But when we have to flag her down for every refill or order, that's an issue for us. Her service was mediocre before the owner or manager, or whatever he is to the establishment, came in. As soon as he came in, she planted her ass at his table with his two little boys and we had to flag her down for everything from that moment forward. What a damn shame that he's obviously a significant contributor to the establishment and he was OK with us having to flag her down (he's the one that would see us first, then had to tell her). We have never left a restaurant without tipping a generous amount, but the service was so atrocious that I absolutely did not tip her and trust me, our bill was hefty - 2 seafood bowls, extra cluster of crab, a kids meal, and 6 alcoholic beverages, but if she doesn't care about the tip, why should I?! Maybe this is a good establishment for takeout but definitely not for a sit down meal. If you're OK with way below par service, then this is the establishment for you. read more

The fish and shrimp ceviche was pretty good! My son had the Ceviche sampler which he enjoyed as well. The atmosphere was very clean, service was good. I had a craving for Mexican Seafood...there were two restaurants closer to me but their Yelp ratings were extremely low...Mariscos Sinaloa has strong ratings and usually, Yelp doesn't steer me wrong. I never mind a drive for good food. Yelp led me to the right spot again. The restaurant is set next to a gas station but when you walk in you feel like you are at a Mexican Seafood at a beach resort--the music was pumping and everyone was super friendly. We started with the ceviche trio appetizer and it was so good. Everything was fresh and the portion was huge. I would go back just for this ceviche. My daughter didn't want seafood, so she ordered the chicken fajitas and loved them. I tried the chicken and the seasoning was so good---different than Tex-Mex fajitas, but the way they were seasoned left me dreaming about them. Finally, I had the garlic shrimp, and once again it was so good. I was not drinking that night, but I had clamato (which I love), but the micheladas are huge and ornate with garnishes. The price was a little more than what I had planned to spend, but hey, fresh seafood is not cheap, and I live by the mantra that you can't put a price on a good meal. A unique experience with some really different approaches to what most USA "Mexican" offerings you'd expect are, all done in an environment that accommodates everything from families to more hard-core diners. It would definitely be 5 stars on this first try except for the overly-loud background music, which didn't seem to bother most people at the tables, but having a conversation with another couple at the bar was one of those "I'm sorry, what did you say?" situations. Needless to say, the hard-surface acoustics throughout help contribute to the too-high sound level at the bar. But with food like this, who really cares? So many choices so we opted for the shrimp and scallop ceviche and some fajitas and a couple of top-shelf margaritas. We could have fed four people with what came, but that just means we have a great brunch for tomorrow. We'll definitely be back to find out what all those other things are like. read more
