Do not go here. My teeth cleaning lasted for almost 2 hours with waiting, x-rays, cleaning, and advice. The doctor was the one who did the cleaning. She used an electric toothpick like an electric toothbrush, litterally ripping up my gums and blaming it on my dental routine that I promise you is extensive since getting an implant. She then proceeded to interpret my x-rays and said that I had a cavity where when I took it to my dentist that I have been seeing all my childhood and adulthood she said that the dentist was lying and probably just trying to get extra money where she could. I do not recommend Harmony Dental to anyone- regardless of what insurance you have, DO NOT come here. My experience here was identical to the other 1 star reviews. The entire experience was poor, the office was very outdated and felt stale. I realized once I started my x-rays that the equipment they are using is outdated as well. The x-ray mouthpiece was unusually bulky and uncomfortable and the yellow and blue plastic pieces that you bite down on appeared dirty. They weren't completely covered with plastic when going in your mouth and you could see little dark grey spots and bite marks on them. I asked the x-ray tech if it was clean and she assured me that although it was a re-useable piece she herself sanitizes and brushes it after each use and it was clean. I believed her but still, not a good look. At other dentists the entire piece inserted in your mouth is completely covered with plastic. For the sake of time I'll spare you a few other details but what set me over the edge and led me to write this review was the cleaning. Never in my 35 years of life have I experienced this much pain at the dentist. I have very good teeth and my cleanings are always straightforward and simple. Usually the most uncomfortable part of a cleaning for me is that little metal pick they use to scrape the crevices. Whatever technique Dr. Noroozi is using needs to be THOROUGHLY evaluated and reconsidered. After using the little metal pick she began using a tiny drill to clean in between each tooth up near the gumline -from the outside and then from the inside. It fully felt like she was drilling ON my gums. I have no idea why I didn't leave at that point. Then, she proceeded to do the polishing which I figured would be painless but it's like the drill she was using to polish was way too high-powered because it felt like the polishing was also drilling into the surface of my tooth. At this point I was extremely uncomfortable and in pain and knew something was way off. She was working her way towards my front teeth and then going to do the other side. I couldn't do it. I took the mouthpiece out of my mouth, removed the bib, got up and said I was done. Dr. Noroozi seemed shocked and asked what was wrong and I said it was extremely painful and I was done and she said "yeah you're having a lot of bleeding your gums are very inflamed" I said " yeah I bet I am having a lot of bleeding this has been the most painful cleaning of my life. I never bleed a lot and I'm not sure if your equipment is dated or you have a heavy hand but something is wrong and I'm done." She asked if I was sure I didn't want to finish and tried to offer me fluoride and also tried to push their stupid electric toothbrush again and I declined all and walked out. When I got to my car I looked at my mouth and on the side she had "cleaned" my gumline was dark red and bleeding still. Compared to the other side she hadn't touched (shown in pics). It made me so sad and mad that this was my experience. I will be contacting the Dental Board of California and the ADA to file a complaint and I would advise other patients with this experience to do the same. I really hope that she does not see children at this office because if I had brought my son here I would be LIVID. In addition: my appointment was at 9:45 for a cleaning. The x-ray tech greeted me and handed me paperwork, the receptionist (who started work at 10am) came in and started verifying my insurance etc. They took me back at 10:25 for x-rays (the woman who took my x-rays was the only pleasant thing about this office) and did not start my cleaning until 11:15am when the dentist (who rolled into the office at 11am) was ready. Mind you, there was only one other patient in the office (an elderly woman who, from what I could hear was also experiencing extreme discomfort during her procedure). When I left it was 11:30 am. Almost 2 hours for an incomplete cleaning. Completely unacceptable and inconsiderate of patients' time all because Dr. Noroozi is trying to operate on a skeleton crew to save $ and waltzing into her office at 11am. Had I known this would have been my experience, I much rather would have paid $200+ out of pocket for a cleaning at another dentist than come here for a medi-cal covered cleaning. read more

Worst dental experience ever. On their patient privacy form, there is a notice stating that I did NOT have to sign the form. I wanted to decline signing but the doctor told me herself that I would not be seen if I did not sign the form because it was necessary to protect herself if a problem arises in the future. Why am I forced to sign a document that explicitly states I do not have to sign it? The dr told me that the document she is having people sign is generic and she obtained it from somewhere else. The actual cleaning itself was painful when it came to cleaning the gums. Never experienced that before with other dentists. I explained to her that I felt sensitivity with my teeth grinding on the side where I had a cavity filled. She ignored this. My previous dentist would have taken a look into it right away and adjusted that accordingly. I honestly felt that this dr took a look at my current insurance (just turned 26 and kicked off my parent's insurance) and thought let's not even bother. Poor patient care and just looking to collect fees on cleaning and xrays. Not going here again. read more

Courtesy of "receptionist": 3 stars (The person who called me to schedule the appointment was the dentist herself. She must have been busy because she was quite curt and to the point. She also interrupted me while I was talking.) Day of appointment: 1 star (The dentist was rude and unprofessional.) She lost us at the door. I did feel compelled to write this review because I wanted to share my experience with others. I went to her because of the 5 star yelp review. I am hoping that others will be able to see that her business is not a 5 star business. You can try but be wary. This office and dental appt was the ABSOLUTE WORST experience I have honestly EVER had with a dentist my entire life, and that is saying A LOT since I'm in my mid 30's and have been to a handful of dentists regularly! Idk if the way they treated me was because of my ins. Or what but I was early for paperwork like they asked and then I was waiting around for over an hour while they were talking/socializing (not even about work) and when she finally did start my appt she all of a sudden had to stop and make me wait some more because the Dentist wanted the 1 assistant working on me to go take another Xray on the last patient even though there were 2 other girls in the office.. that's just the beginning! They completely forgot to put SAFETY glasses on me and before I knew it she was just cleaning away so rough and carelessly! I was so blown away I completely forgot myself about the glasses and bam dirty bacteria from my mouth flys into my EYE! I asked for glasses and they did finally get me some but then she tried to actually tell me that it was my own eyelashe! Are you kidding me?! Then Dr. Naroozi proceeded to clean my mouth but was moving so fast and her face was so far I just couldn't imagine she could see very well not to mention it felt like she was cleaning off my GUMS!! I am so serious when I say that it has NEVER in my life EVER been painful to have my teeth cleaned and this was by far the most painful teeth cleaning I've ever had! The whole entire appt all they kept doing was trying to sell me their products further keeping even longer for no reason! By the time I was finally done I went to my car and my gums were so red and hurting so bad! It was awful, and the next day my GUMS had actual SCABS on them from this woman! It is absolutely safe to say I will never be returning and I caution anyone looking for a new dentist! Save your teeth and gums from this traumatic and damaging experience!! I went to Dr. Noroozi for the first time. She was comforting and able to diagnose my issues that I've had with a previous dentist. I've actually had two dentists in the last 10 years who have been pretty bad - Dr. Noroozi is the 3rd and is great. I had a crown put on by this other Russian dentist but it had an over hang and needed to be redone. She is charging $400 less than what the other dentist wanted for the crown he put in wrong. I also had a poor experience with another dentist who wouldn't touch this crown because he wanted me to go back to the Russian person who did it wrong. He also wanted to charge me for bonding. This dentist told me my insurance wouldn't cover bonding for areas that are sensitive. Dr. Noroozi did it with no problem and my insurance does cover it. The cleaning was thorough and the crown will be measured next visit. She also will do more bonding where I have sensitive spots. Altogether I am pleased with the communication and procedures she performed. She did a good job explaining everything. I will now be calling her my new dentist. read more
