Whether it's a first date or your fiftieth, this spot always hits the mark. Food (5/5): My go-to order is a double patty burger ($12) (single patty burger is $10), loaded with herb mayo, American cheese, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, and a fried egg (+$1), plus a full order of fries. The burger is juicy, flavorful, and totally satisfying. If you're dining with someone, go for the full order of fries ($8). If you're solo, the half order is perfect. The food comes out on a big circular tray with your burgers and fries spread out. Messy and delicious! They also serve fantastic milkshakes in vanilla, chocolate, or coffee ($9). You can add Snickers, Oreos, or Heath bars for $1. The coffee shake is my personal favorite, and it's made with real coffee! Their fries are on another level. Sometimes they have weird fries specials that are a must-try! They used to have it all the time, now it's a rare surprise. Service (5/5): Service is quick and friendly. Great hole-in-the-wall burger spot. Saw that it was rated one of the best in NOVA so had to try it out. The burger was awesome. You can tell it is high quality meat and toppings. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger with pickles. I also ordered the regular fries and a vanilla shake. The fries were very good, a bit on the saltier side, but balanced out with the rest of the meal. The shake was good, but I did not think it was over-the-top incredible. I thought the burger was a good value. The fries were too based on how much you get, but the full portion size was so huge that you cannot finish it yourself. It is best split amongst 2 or 3. Apparently there are half sizes, but it is not advertised on the hand paper menu, so I did not know it was an option. The overall price of the meal gets to be a lot if you factor in burger, fries, shake. If I were to come back, I would would do just the burger and a half order of fries, and skip the rest. read more

I was in the area and decided to give this place a try. I was pleasantly surprised. The burgers are cooked to order and are customizable. They use a brioche type bun that did a good job holding up and didn't get soggy. The meat was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The fries are fresh. I observed them using a fry cutting machine to make them. Btw, one order of fries goes a long way; it is enough for 2-4 people depending on how hungry you are. For reference, I posted a picture of 2 orders of fries. I also tasted their milkshake and it was divine. If you're looking for a good burger give this place a try. You won't be disappointed. Market burger delivers some of the juiciest, most delish meat creations I've ever enjoyed. The topping list goes on and on, so you can make your own burger. But the 'classics' are so good, I rarely feel the need to venture far from their 'standard'. And don't get me started on the potato fries! Even a half order is more than enough (although I'd probably devour a full order). Occasionally I'll indulge in a shake (and they have local beer & cider) but if possible I'll avoid total gluttony. A plain storefront, with maybe four or six tables, you order at the front, and they deliver your meal to your table. I ordered the double patty burger with lettuce, tomato, ketchup, pickled jalapeños, and homemade dill pickles. Having a dairy allergy, I asked The gentleman taking my order, if my allergy could be accommodated He said that he would make sure that there was no cheese around the burger that was being made for me, and that the bun would not be coated with butter, and that the fryers did not contain any cross contamination To the food The burger was cooked perfectly medium. It was uniformly cooked with a pink red center throughout with a wonderful char crust on each side of the burger from being grilled The pickled jalapeños were outstanding. They were not overly sweet and had just the right bite. You can tell that they were homemade. The dill pickle slices were also obviously homemade because of their delicate flavoring and smooth texture The fries. If you get the full order of fries, be warned that there are enough fries for two or three people. I can assure there wasn't one fry left on my plate though. They are shoestring fries, double fried with a very nice crisp texture. Perfectly salted and seasoned. Just a friendly atmosphere, a great burger, outstanding toppings, and wonderful fries. You can tell most of their ingredients are locally sourced on their menu and it really adds to the quality and taste. But so worth the effort to get here. The food is locally sourced and you can taste it. Lots of options for the burger, including a black bean version for those with a meat aversion. We shared a 'mixed' order of fries- half shoestring and half sweet potato chips- all were hot, crunchy, and appropriately salted. For a 'burger joint' it was pretty well perfect. Add in fast service and friendly staff and you earned the five stars. Just wish we had more room to try the shakes. Good reason to return and see if they are as good as the burgers. read more

Pricy but good. The burgers are excellent, and BF and I had their special truffle parmesan fries. They come in a big serving, so we split them. It was generous enough for both. However, it was $10 for the fries. We had a beer each with our burgers and the fries, and the bill was about $45. Pretty outrageous price for lunch, even if it was pretty good food. Stopped in with my family of 4 for a quick bite. Simple walk up ordering, reasonably priced fare. We grabbed a table in the busy but not crammed dining area. Food was made-to-order in about 15 minutes, cashier called our name and we picked up our 2 burgers and 2 blt's at the counter. Market burger was tasty, nice-sized with a thin smash-like patty, melted cheddar, a nicely runny egg, bacon, crisp lettuce and sweet tomato with a creamy herb mayo. Brioche bun was delicious and held up well. BLTs were similarly snack-size with simple, toasted white bread and crisp lettuce, tomato and bacon. One order of thin-cut freshly made fries was more than enough for the 4 of us. Drinks were bottle-only water or soda (jarrisco and some type is specialty cans). My son mistakenly ordered the puppy shake but the nice cashier made it a kid-friendly peanut butter shake. It was delicious: thick, creamy, not too sweet with a skippy pb taste and texture. Overall a good choice for a fast casual eat-in or takeout burger. One suggestion: It would be nice to have paper plates for each sandwich, ours were served on a single tray covered in white paper and we had to use napkins as "plates". The age old debate between what is better, Market Burger or Melt???? There is no debate. Melt wins. Hands down. I liked Market Burger. I didn't love it. It didn't blow me away. All of the components were good. Put all together created a nice meal. It tasted fresh and homemade. It just didn't knock my socks off. My top burgers, in comparison, are from Melt, Shake Shack, Big Buns, and Good Stuff Eatery. I got the double, with LTO and Mayo. When I go back I will get the double, with bacon, egg, American, chipotle mayo and not herb mayo, and lettuce and tomato and sautéed onions and not raw. The burger was excellent and the bread was better than any other gf hamburger bun I have ever had. We also ordered the sweet potato fries which tbh where a bit disappointing. They were more like slices roasted sweet potatoes versus fries. They just were not my favorite at all - I regretted not getting the normal fries which looked DOPE. Just from my brief visit here it left a 5 star first impression! I'm not from around the area but this place was one of the first restaurants to show up when I looked up places to eat near me. I went there with my cousin. There isn't a direct parking spot for the restaurant but there are plenty 2 hour parking on the right side on the building as well as a public parking lot about a 3 min walk from behind the building. When we entered we were greeted by a young lady who asked us if we've ever been here. We said no and she proceeded to tell us the specials they had that day as well as where to find the regular menu. I ended up getting at "Market Burger" with half a full size fry as well as a vanilla milkshake. The market burger was $10 I believe. I substituted the tomatoes and added onions instead and they were very accommodating. We sat down while waiting for our food. There were a couple of tables directly in the front but we also saw a sign saying there was extra seating in the back, a place we didn't see. They gave us our food and omg the fries were so good. If you love salty and crunchy fries you'll love these. It didn't need any extra seasoning or sauce which is rare because I always add more pepper or sauce. The burger was amazing, the meat was juicy and you can tell the ingredients were fresh. They actually have a sign they shows you where they get all their ingredients from (what farms they are grown in). The vanilla milkshake was good but wasn't anything special about it. It tasted basically like melted vanilla bean ice cream, but nonetheless still delicious. If you're ever in the area I totally recommend trying this place out. read more

What a happy little accident! I drove like 20 minutes to grab a bite at Purcellville Eats and the time Yelp had listed was wrong so turns out I missed them by 30 minutes. Was determined not to go home empty handed and perused Yelp and saw this place was close by and had pretty good ratings. Burger was SUPER GOOD!! Everyone raves about Melt but this place should be mentioned in the same breath. They are not as busy as Melt which is surprising because of the quality of the food. Its a little pricy but its for decent portion sizes and very tasty so imo worth it. Only other gripe you may have was parking. Not sure if there was a secret lot somewhere I overlooked but the street they're located off of had very limited parking. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger, side of fries, some craft root beer they sell here and a thin mint shake because i'm a greedy little piggy. All were yummy and they give a nice pile of fries. Shake comes with a thicc boi straw like the kind you use for boba tea so no clogs. Staff was polite and patient while I browsed the menu and confirmed I wanted a burger to start the patty while I figured toppings this allowed me to get my food pretty quick. We came to this place cause it was 4stars. We were highly disappointed The patties of the burger, tasted rancid. Like it was thawed out and refrozen many times. Or it was expired meat. With a gray color. And somehow the patty looked like it was boiled. All 4 of our burgers were too horrible to eat and we ended up tossing $61 bucks in the trash. They did have great house cut fries but not worth giving this place another chance. read more
