Grabbed dinner with a friend Monday night and the pub was packed! I opted for a classic cheeseburger and onion rings which really hit the spot! Our waitress was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Definitely will return to try their award winning chili.

We had lunch there on 11/1/2025. My wife had the French onion soup. The broth was flavorful, lots of onions, bread, melted chese. The cheese had a nice crust on it. I had the dirty dogs with chili, onions, sour kraut and mustard. This was a great chili dog. My only negative comment is that the tater tots could have been a little crisper. We really enjoyed our lunch. We enjoyed it so much, we are back for brunch on 11/2/2025.

TLDR: Good food & drinks. Cute outdoor seating. Packed indoor seating. Forgetful servers. Food (4/5): The food was pretty good. The Chili Mac $16 had an "award winning pub chili"... it tasted only like ketchup. To each their own, but that's not "award winning" to us. The Open Faced Chili Burger $15 was delicious, especially when you put the fries on top of the burger. I'm just picky, but it was annoying that the toppings came on a side plate... we all know where it's going... it's going on the burger... just put it on top to begin with. Drinks (2/5): It was just juice. Seasonal flavors & options were good. But come on. Service (3/5): I'm not sure if we had a new person and they were in training, but our server was very distracted & something just seemed off. 2 other servers ended up helping us. But even with 3 servers, they still forgot the Loaded Tots $9. We had to ask if they were ever coming out, and were told that the original server never rang in the order and by the time they'd come out, we would have been done with our meals. Sad, since we LOVE loaded tots. Ambiance (4/5): There seemed to be plenty of seating inside & outside. Inside was PACKED & extremely loud, so we opted to sit outside in the huge alleyway with entrances to a lot of cute shops. Just be careful eating outside. We went when the lantern flies were everywhere. Parking (5/5): Plenty of free parking. No issue at all.

Steak, Egg, & Cheese Sandwich (8.3.24)

8.3.24 Great food, drinks, and service. Loved the steak, egg, and cheese sandwich. What a great combo. What made our experience fun was a song that came on that referenced nutsacks. The restaurant got quiet and everyone busted out laughing. There were young boys at the table next to us who started singing it and the staff quickly changed the music. Lol. Thanks for a memorable evening. :)

Smack dab in the middle of a shopping area off of Main Street in P-Ville, VA, it's the sister pub to Ashburn Pub with same ownership, atmosphere, and vibe. Pub is known for it's great food, reasonably priced drinks, friendly servers/bartenders, and locals who are about good times and vibes. Food-wise, the wings are killer. Get them beaver-style (recommended) as they are some of the best you'll have. And this is coming from someone who currently lives in Houston which has infinite wing options. The fries are quite tasty too, good size and right amount of seasoning. Get them with a sauce or loaded with cheese and bacon if you're feeling naughty. They also serve breakfast here every day, definitely recommend the breakfast sandwich to fill you up. Drinks are affordable. Miller lites at only $3.50-$4, I'll take that all day. Bloody marys are cheap as well; forgot the price, but I know it's consumer friendly. Bartenders/servers always make sure your drink is full; makes you feel like you're the only one in the room. The patrons are friendly and welcoming, I always seem to strike up a conversation with someone new when I've checked in here. As an extrovert, I appreciate when people aren't afraid to converse with you. Always look forward to hanging here when I'm back in Loudoun!

A warm and inviting pub right on Main Street in Purcelvelle! We stopped in for lunch to take advantage of Burger Thursday. We came on the recommendation of a friend who was a regular. Wow were we glad we did! Upon our first greeting to our final farewell it was a heartwarming experience. The server was friendly, available, but not overly solicitous. I ordered the pub burger medium well and was delighted to see some pink. Similarly my lunch partner ordered his well-done and was happy with his. The burger was a generous patty and of good quality. The fries were excellent! We will be back!!!

#4. Biscuits & Gravy ... not for me and I don't recommend it.

Skip to the summary below or feel free to read my full review: I was in Purcellville to get a prescription for my wife. I decided I would try a new place for my favorite meal, breakfast. So searched on Yelp! to see what my options were. Most results were fast food, of the few local establishments the Pub looked like a good option; they have biscuits and gravy on the menu... if you haven't viewed any of my other reviews, I have been hunting for biscuits and sausage gravy as good as the Triple XXX in West Lafayette, IN. There is plenty of parking as the Pub is in a tiny strip mall. There was plenty of staff on hand and the hostess was able to seat me right away. The server arrived promptly and took my drink order. When she returned, I ordered the biscuits and sausage gravy; I didn't see an option to get a half order with eggs, so I had a full order with an egg a la carte. While waiting for my food I was able to take in the atmosphere of the place; as the name suggests it fits the mold of the traditional sports pub; rail bar, high tops and then a dining area separate from the bar; TVs on all the walls; etc. It was very clean, I didn't see any tables that were not cleared and ready. The coffee was fine. No where near the quality and selection at the Deli South in Leesburg. I probably will get soda or juice next time. I did not have to wait long for my food. As soon as it arrived, I knew I would leave still on the hunt! I have learned that If there is any greenery on top for presentation, the gravy will not let the sausage stand alone as the main flavor. My first bite confirmed that my hunt would still continue. While not a fit for what I consider sausage gravy, the gravy itself was palatable. Unfortunately, there were a few big clumps of sausage which were not cooked through. Summary: The place: it's like any well managed spots pub. 4 stars The service: my server was excellent! 5 stars The food: Palatable; some pieces of sausage in the gravy were undercooked. 1 Star 3.3 stars I'd go again as there a lot of menu options I haven't tried.

According to one of the lovely staff,"Bia" means food in Irish, in case you were curious. They have a full bar with lots of quality spirits to choose from. The beer selection is all draught, no bottled beer. We decided to share some appetizers with our drinks. We ordered PEI mussels, champagne peppercorn patè and fried calamari. All the appetizers were excellent. The patè was presented nicely with accoutrements of fig jam, cornichon, macerated tomatoes and bread. The mussels were offered in a Thai curry sauce but we asked for another serving option due to an allergy concerns. They offered us a white wine and garlic option and we gladly took it. The mussels were cooked very well, the flavor was clean and mild but could have used stronger seasoning, The fried calamari was executed perfectly. It was crispy, tender, flavorful with zero greasiness. The garlic tomato aioli accompanied the dish well. We shared the beef medallions as our entree and a side of fries because I spotted a server carrying fish and chips and the steak fries style potatoes were speaking to me. The steak was tender and flavorful and the Demi glaze brought the dish together. The fries were crispy and salty and wonderful, I'm glad I was inspired. We saved room for dessert and chose churros and Dubai chocolate. Both were a great finish to our dining experience.

The lacquered salmon wasn't at its best this time, but it was still pretty good. Their assortment of desserts is always well presented, and everything on the buffet stays fresh. The staff constantly comes back to refill the trays with eggs, bacon, fruit, cheeses, and plenty of other choices. I heard the Belgian waffles were a little heavier and not as light as usual, but I typically avoid waffles at an all-you-can-eat brunch anyway--they're mostly filler. If waffles trip your trigger, though, they're there. It's a little pricey, but if you stick with the beef and fish and have a couple of good platefuls, you'll leave full and feeling like you got your money's worth. Magnolias continues to be a dependable choice for a family brunch.

Accordingly, I recommended it to my parents for a special meal, and round two was not as good. We were sat upstairs, which detracted from the ambience substantially, but worse was our server. From the moment she greeted us, we could tell she did not want to be there. She brought red wine in white wine glasses and a bread basket with only three pieces to a table of four people. I pointed this out and requested more bread, so that each of us could have a piece, but she never returned with more as she agreed to do. (Eventually a different server brought us more bread upon second request.) After food was served, I don't recall seeing her to check in until we'd finished eating. Absolutely unacceptable when you're waiting on a table that's putting down more than $250 before tip. Food wise, pretty happy. Fried green tomato was good; pincaha was salty but well cooked (chimichurri overpowering); duck was nice; and pastas were rich. I'd be back but specify that I want a table on the main floor, not upstairs between the bathroom and kitchen. I'd also be on the lookout for the redheaded waitress with the chip on her shoulder.

Whether it's a first date or your fiftieth, this spot always hits the mark. Food (5/5): My go-to order is a double patty burger ($12) (single patty burger is $10), loaded with herb mayo, American cheese, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, and a fried egg (+$1), plus a full order of fries. The burger is juicy, flavorful, and totally satisfying. If you're dining with someone, go for the full order of fries ($8). If you're solo, the half order is perfect. The food comes out on a big circular tray with your burgers and fries spread out. Messy and delicious! They also serve fantastic milkshakes in vanilla, chocolate, or coffee ($9). You can add Snickers, Oreos, or Heath bars for $1. The coffee shake is my personal favorite, and it's made with real coffee! Their fries are on another level. Sometimes they have weird fries specials that are a must-try! They used to have it all the time, now it's a rare surprise. Service (5/5): Service is quick and friendly.
