Advertised that you can rent the space for events. Very simple coffee menu and they have a small ramen bar. The barista greeted us loudly when we walked in which was good because we did not see him until we were halfway into the shop. Super friendly guy. I ordered their Carmel toffee crunch latte and my husband ordered their cold brew. The barista explained it's more like an Americano which was perfect for my husband (if you've read my coffee reviews you know my husband drinks his coffee black). Our drinks were made quickly while we looked around and after we received them we took them to go. Both drinks were very well made. Latte wasn't overly sweet and husband said it was a good Americano. We will return to try some of their other menu items.

The perfect place to work on the go, catch up with friends, treat the kids and yourself, or just come to relax. The barista was friendly and suggested one of the seasonal drinks. The owners are California transplants who aim to share their love of specialty coffee with the community. Offering a wide range of coffee, tea, mocktails, and cocktails as well as baked goods, they have something for everyone to sip on and enjoy. Offering a variety of monthly drink specials to choose from. I purchased the chocolate kiss, and it was delicious and even came with a Hershey's kiss. I recommend eating the chocolate before you start to enjoy your drink. It enhances the cocoa flavor profile and adds an extra depth to the drink's taste.

(3.25 stars) My sweet tooth and my desire to eat healthier…read morehave long been at odds, and I wanted to get a sense of how keto desserts compare to their sugarfied counterparts. That led me to To Your Health. It's a small bakery with minimal seating, but there's quite a bit here: cakes, cupcakes, pies, cookies, donuts, and more. As expected, there were more gluten-free than keto/paleo options, but a helpful staff member was able to point me toward a few sugar-free offerings. I ultimately went with a piece of pumpkin cheesecake, which proved to be a somewhat mixed experience. I knew the texture would be different from a classic New York-style, and it was. However, the sweet, creamy filling with warm spice notes proved to be plenty tasty in its own right. Unfortunately, I couldn't say the same about the crust as the pronounced almond flavor was a bit off-putting. Finally, while I was prepared for keto desserts to cost more, $9 for one piece of cheesecake still stung. To Your Health does a commendable job of providing options for those with food allergies and sensitivities, and if I were in that camp, I might rate them higher. I can appreciate the care they put into their offerings, but for me, they just weren't worth the cost.

I would like to see the actual nutrition facts displayed so I can see the full macro breakdown on the treats, but I imagine I could have asked for that information. There are some helpful labels such as sugar free, and the protein cookies did note 10g of protein per cookie, which was helpful to choose in terms of refueling my workouts. I enjoyed the filling on the cake and cannoli, but the shell on the cannoli was almost too hard to eat. The protein cookies were chewy and a bit gritty but very pleasant for sugar free. I added some peanut butter which elevated it to another level. Treats were a bit pricey but comparable to other bakeries. My kids enjoyed their treats as well, which is a big win in terms of healthy alternatives!

Binki Cate has the potential to be a landmark for Ramen but there some work to do. First, this location seems to be a great spot but there has been like 3-5 different restaurants in the building over the last 10 years. I hope Binki stays. Ok, so I wanted Ramen but I don't think this is their wheelhouse. I think the main focus are the drinks and treats. I got the Miso chicken Raman and it was good...not great. The presentation was kinda wonky with a plastic bowl with clear wrap on top like a school lunch meal...wait...was this frozen and they just heated it up?? Hmmm...anyway the service was...functional. No one acted like they really wanted to be there. I think this spot has a lot to offer, but as with everything the experience it important.

The ube soft-serve was topped with mochi and coconut. I was happy to learn it was lactose-free. Ube has a mild vanilla flavor and is not as sweet as other soft serves I have had before. They have a banana dessert that sounds good and I would get it in the future.

Anyone else beeline for the Amish doughnut truck at the fair as soon as you get through the gate?…read moreWell Glazed-N-Dazed makes those same huge yeast glazed doughnuts and they are available (almost) year around. They are soft, warm, fresh from the fryer doughnuts. They sell one type of doughnut-glazed. They sell them 1/$4 each or you can get 3/$10. Yeah, they are a bit more than some places but these are hand rolled homemade to order and served warm. Their logo also said coffee and milkshakes but I was there just for the doughnuts today. Glazed-N-Dazed is part of the family run Food Freaks Burger Truck. Sidebar: if you haven't tried these burgers yet you really should because they are some of the most unique and best burgers I've ever had- both Glazed and Dazed and FoodFreaks post their hours and days on Facebook so go follow them there if you want to check them out. This particular food truck of theirs has a permanent spot behind Jug heads Growlers and Pints on Country Club in Winston. They are usually only open serving doughnuts, burgers or both when Jug heads is also open but sometimes they serve doughnuts in the mornings on the weekends. Keep in mind this is a food truck. There are picnic benches to sit at but it's all outdoor seating. Jug Heads has some indoor seating though so if you're there when they are open, you can sit inside with your food. I know a food truck might not be the first place you think of going when you want a doughnut but these are really good and if you happen to see them around definitely stop in to try them.
