So funny their automated calling service told me that I cannot pick up the medicine today saturday (april 2, 2016) @ 1am and they will call me back again. Then last month the automated calling service left a voice message that he medicine was ready to pick up and when I went and they told me to wait. I don't know who is in charge of these calls. However, starting this year the pharmacy's staff has taken a 360 degree change when it comes to customer service and respect toward their customers. I have been told negative remarks and there is a new girl on that just got hired which is very rude. I have been a customer of Market pharmacy for over 10 years. The staff is very friendly and I specifically want to point out how helpful Evette and Armen both are. Very good people. They are very quick to get me what I need and wait time is really low, usually 5-10 minutes. If there's a problem with my insurance they'll work with the doctor and the insurance company to get my prescription approved. All I have to say is that they truly care for their patients. No more stupid lines at CVS, or forgetting to refill your prescription and then falling behind. NO! You control the refill delivery date, you add or remove prescriptions as you need, if you decide to go on vacation they will work with your insurance to get you the additional prescriptions you may need while you are away. Superb! Their service is easy to use, they are super friendly, they are on top of it, and I always get my prescription BEFORE my desired delivery date. This pharmacy promises delivery but will often mail the prescription without bothering to ask you if you can wait for mail or if you prefer to pick it up. There is zero customer service here. Don't expect the staff here to pick up the phone and call you even when they are unsure of something. The pharmacy staff will leave you without your medicine for days and simply brush you aside when you call to inquire about when you can expect your medicine. The staff does not care about the individual customer. They hang up the phone during a conversation and don't apologize or try to call you back. read more

What can be said? Incredible staff and incredible service. We first started going here when we lived in Granada Hills, 12 years ago, and they were located in the Gelsons market in Northridge. We have since moved to Agoura Hills, and we gladly pass up the local chain pharmacies and make our trip to market pharmacy in their newer location. Both my wife and I require monthly and bi-monthly prescriptions and refills and are always greeted by the friendly, warm and professional staff. I been a customer of market pharmacy since they originally had there pharmacy inside Gelson's market. My entire family get all there meds through them. When my father was diagnosed with cancer in 2008 they were alway there. After reading the comment that Tammy J. Left about there staff calling an autistic patient stupid I had to create a yelp account and say something. Its so disappointing how easy anyone can try and tarnish someone else reputation, who and there right mind would believe that anyone would call a disabled person stupid nonetheless a pharmacy staff who primary job is to assist the sick and disabled. This place is pretty cool. I've used them twice. I haven't been in there physically, but what I love about it is that they deliver. Delivery drivers usually go out past 6pm so if you're expecting your meds you must be there or at least answer your phone. One of the delivery drivers arrived earlier than usual and called me to coordinate a time to meet when he was informed I wasn't there. He was cool and delivered my meds. read more

I love going to this pharmacy. They used to be located in the Gelson's and moved but I even make the extra 5 minute drive to go there because everything works smoothly. They deliver my father's meds on a monthly basis, and when I go to my doctor's office, they just fax in the prescription and by the time I go to the pharmacy it's all ready to go. The staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable. I just can't handle going to CVS and waiting in line for 25 minutes and dealing with unhelpful people. I tried to get my RX filled here and every time there is an issue I went there in April to fill it for the 1st time cause it was recommended by DR and they couldn't do it for some reason...so I went again the next month to fill cause I thought I give them another chance and still an issue....I asked why and they gave me an attuide when I asked what the problem was...that's twice I was not a able to fill it....If they were polite about it I would not care....I wanted to give them a chance so after I was treated the way I was today I wouldn't step foot in that place again... They are OK as far as getting your medication at the end of the day. Meaning they always deliver the meds late after 7 pm, which doesn't really bother me. Customer service is descent which could be better I think. First of all i always have to call them and request the refill. Every time i call i request them to put me on automatic refill. Still they don't do it. I guess my insurance is not good enough. To make even worst, on Saturday morning I ordered the refill for Propranolol. I have been taking this med 3 times a day for over 5 years now and I can't miss a dose. they didn't tell me they are open only until 3 pm on Saturdays. I couldn't do anything. I was very upset. I called them on Monday and the pharmacist was like no big deal , they will do it today. I got the med by 7:30 pm on Monday. All I can say don't trust them if its matter of right now for you as a customer. read more

I've been a customer of Market Pharmacy since 1999. You can't find better than this! Incredible, helpful, friendly staff. They take the time to help you, answer any and all questions you may have. They work with you, and your insurance carrier, if you have one, and if not, they STILL work with you. Whereas the "other" so called pharmacies, that pop up at every corner, and you still grow roots while your waiting, Market is run and operated by humans. Not robots that appear to hate their job. Discovered this pharmacy during the flu season of 2013. while all chain pharmacies were out - Market pharmacy had the vaccine in stock! I have been going to this pharmacy ever since.
