So the photos on this listing are for the location across the street, but the address has it for the location within Target. It's really confusing having 2 CVS locations across the street from each other. (though I have a suspicion that once the stand alone location is done with their renovation, this location will be closed & the staff migrated over). The staff here at the Target location is great. They're very friendly and helpful and really know their stuff. I've never had any issues with them and if my pediatrician's office calls in a subscription, it'll be ready within 30 almost guaranteed. I really like this location. I do hope that if it does get closed down that everyone comes over to the other location. They have some of the best pharmacy customer service I've ever had. read more

Upon entering I am always greeted and given a smile by staff. I have gone to this CVS Pharmacy several times to get my vaccinations and have always had a good experience. The Pharmacy staff are friendly and I've actually never had any pain with the injections when they are administered to me. read more

I go to the northridge CVS on Balboa. They just remodeled and I love the drive-through to pick up my prescriptions. There's never a line. Never a problem always very quick. Staff is very friendly. Love that place. read more

I would have given this pharmacy a much higher rating because I mostly liked the staff and understood the load and importance of their work. But my recent experiences have been disappointing. During my last two visits, the pharmacist on duty, ironically it was the same lady both times, communicated with me in a very irritable manner, when the time came to give me a consultation and she was busy accepting vaccination clients. After administering vaccinations, she just walked back to the pharmacy without acknowledging the fact that I was waiting for her. During my most recent visit, she informed me that my prescription wasn't ready, even though my doctor had sent it two weeks prior. Talked in the same irritable manner again explaining that she was busy with accepting vaccination clients. To make matters worse, she informed me, on the go, that I should still had 5 pills from my previous prescription. By the way, that prescription was short two pills. After speaking with my doctor, I confirmed it should have been a full supply. Today, I took my last pill, and despite the pharmacy calling my doctor last Friday, my prescription still isn't ready, and today is Monday. Not Disrupting my medication intake is absolutely critical. This level of service is unacceptable, especially for essential and highly regulated medications. I hope they improve their communication and accuracy moving forward. read more

This is a small old CVS. They do a fantastic job managing n implementing covid rules. Nice option to deliver my meds. Pharmacy employees are excellent. Pharmacist Tina and Josh are very kind. They're very helpful.. It's also nice you have sanitizer now. I think the only issue I have is it needs remodeling. I also wish you had rubbing alcohol and lysol but it's understandable why it's low at these times. read more

I normally despise CVS, especially the cosmetics department. This section of the store in most CVS that I've gone too is dirty, picked over, makeup smudges everywhere.......ugh! So you can imagine my surprise when I stepped foot in this store and the cosmetics dept was spotless. It was just so clean and all the make up was put in its right place. I'm telling you, I was so happy I had to call my niece to tell her and she couldn't believe it. Next time I need a CVS (especially for cosmetics) I will be driving the extra mile for the more clean store. read more

What is it with this town with slow workers? I came in here to print some pictures which normally only takes less than 5 minutes. To my luck the ink needed to be changed. So Cruz proceeds to take on the task at hand however he didn't know where the ink was...once he found it he didn't know how to put it in the machine...then he had the nerve to give me attitude! This review is for the pharmacy mostly. They are absolutely great. Always on point with the medications, service, and notifications. I couldn't imagine getting service on my relative's medications from anywhere else. As far as the retail portion of the pharmacy, the staff is always friendly and positive. This is the second time that I checked the website for an item, verified that the item was in store and once I got to the store, the item was for a higher price. I just went to this CVS for the first time. Danny was super helpful and sweet and he even helped me find a deal on the protein powder that I needed. He was very polite in handling a guest in front of me that was obviously trying to return things that he hadn't bought from CVS. He was professional and kept his calm. And he likes Coldplay so that is a bonus. ;) lol. I would recommend going this to the store and if I were Danny's boss I would give him a raise because he is awesome! :-) :-) I don't know if he'll ever see this so if you see him, you should tell him to check it out! read more

My favorite local pharmacy, I'm always greeted when I go in. The CVS pharmacy has great hours throughout the week and there is always parking. Never full and very well stocked with a variety of items. Kaveh the store manager is very helpful and friendly. read more

This place sucks. All the prices are double anywhere else unless you use their CVS Bucks and/or coupons. The Pharmacy staff is terrible and rude. I came in right after surgery, looking like shit, in pain and sweaty. I think the tech thought I was a pill popper and didn't want to give me my pain pills. I've been going to this CVS for many years and the pharmacy staff is always polite, professional and helpful. The rest of the store is small compared to most of the other stores in this chain and you may have to go to a larger store to find all you're looking for. The regular prices are high on many items and sometimes their sale price is higher than the regular price of the same item at Target. I get my prescriptions filled here because of the great people working here, but I go elsewhere for most of my other shopping. Five stars for the staff and pharmacy, three for the rest of the store. read more

I am writing this review specifically for the pharmacy and the excellent pharmacy staff. I have been coming here for my prescriptions for years, like since it was still a Sav-on. I've been to other CVS pharmacies before, but this one is by far THE BEST. I actually go out of my way to come here, despite the fact that I neither live nor work near by, and there are probably 10 other pharmacies (including multiple CVSes) closer to my home/job. The staff is super-helpful! Throughout the years, they have gone above and beyond to accommodate my needs. I have a condition that requires me to refill prescriptions all the time, so I'm glad I found a pharmacy that I can depend on. Highly recommended! read more

For over a year the pharmacy at this cvs consistently tells me my prescriptions are available for pick up. But when I get their there's always 1 missing or not ready and have to wait or come back! Excellent customer service! Everyone I spoke with on the phone and in person was very accommodating! I was in need of a prescription immediately, When I spoke to the pharmacist on the phone, she verified they had the prescription I needed in stock, and then she called my other pharmacy to have my refill moved over. The staff is always helpful and although they're sometimes very busy, they give accurate estimates as to when your prescription will be ready. They are thorough as well, making sure you know how to take your medication and other important things. read more

They were out of the stuff I needed, which was a major bummer but they seem to have everything else the other CVS store have. Came in for the first time in years and was greeted immediately by a cashier. (LUIS) He asked if I needed help with anything. I wanted to be in and out so I asked him where the car chargers were located. Luckily, they were right by the register and he showed me a few different ones. Once I made my selection and was ready to be rung up. The charger was ringing up at 9.99 when they are labeled as 5.99. I mentioned that to him, he quickly double checked (I think they had all been misplaced) and he override the price to 5.99 without hesitation. I really appreciate the customer service. I've been living in the area for 4 months and have visited this CVS a number of times. I'm astounded at how their shelves are nearly empty. Several times they've been out of what I was looking for and I had to make the trip across the street to Target where I inevitably found what I was shopping for and for much less. This store is dingy too. The staff is helpful however, they will try help you find what you're looking for. read more

I go to a couple of CVS's for my meds and this place is not pleasant. They look stressed out and backed up back there. That is isn't a big deal and would not have stopped me from going back there. What is, is when they don't do their due diligence because they're not your "pick-up" CVS. ($$$?) I only went to Balboa because I needed some help for time's sake. My personal information was shouted across the counter so that others could hear it, the supervisor (manager?) glared at me as if I was trying to pull a fast one or off due to not having my meds. They made some quick and wrong decisions, and hurried me off. Luckily my pick-up location (On Sierre-Madre in Pasadena) took the time to assess and at least find an approach to the problem over the phone. The solution also showed me Balboa really couldn't have been bothered. I suggest that the Balboa site learn to ask the right questions and generate the right conversations, especially for those will not be able to help themselves. read more

I went in CVS and gave them my card phone number. I'm 100 percent positive it was correct but their computer could not find it. I have used it there a dozen times before and yes I am positive. The clerk refused to honor the card price and let me walk out. I went to Walgreens. That clerk was an idiot! read more
