I recently ordered from Market Street Pizza through UberEats and was SO impressed... I already can't wait to order it again! NOTE: - Delivery or curbside only (no inside seating) - Online ordering: available on their website through ToastTab THE HIGHS: - All the food was hot and fresh when it was delivered - The boxes were clean and well packaged... nothing slid or made a mess during delivery - 8 inch personal pizzas are perfect for a single person - The panuozzos are MASSIVE - Open late THE LOWS: - None! THE PRICE: Very reasonable for the portion size - Meatball panuozzo ($15.95) - 8" mac n cheese pizza ($10.99) BEST BITES: - Meatball panuozzo (the bread stayed crispy the entire time and it was STUFFED with meatballs, cheese and sauce... one of my favorite meatball subs I've had) - 8" mac n cheese pizza (the mac n' cheese is in an even layer and is crispy on top) THE VERDICT: I've been sleeping on Market Street for a takeout pizza option... OVERVIEW: Order online or via phone for takeout only! You can pick up or pay for delivery. Pricing is reasonable (for Austin nowadays) but can still get expensive depending on what you order. We tried a little of everything for our first visit - the social media-viral Italian sandwich, the lasagna, and a mini pizza. All in was about $45. Everything was hot and fresh and had great flavor! We will definitely be trying more pizzas from here, as we really enjoyed the dough. They have a huge variety of toppings as well, including some non-traditional/more fun pizzas like Mac'n'cheese, chili dog, gyro, etc. I'd love to try their home style chocolate cake next time, also! It was sold out when we ordered on a Saturday evening. FOOD RATINGS: - Italian sandwich (4/5): Huge, as promised (allegedly nearly 2 LBS.). Great fillings. I just personally prefer a fluffier bread. - Lasagna (3/5): Rich sauce flavor. Noodles were okay - a little more buried than I'd like. Seen a few influencers post about this place on Instagram and was unsure since I've been to a few places that were over hyped by influencers. However, influencers got it right! Market street pizza is amazing and everyone I interacted with was so nice and friendly! I placed my order through the website and it was lunch time on a Friday so it was about a 30 minute time estimate. I got there early and called like instructed and let them know I was early but my order was already ready so they brought it out right away! They remembered the ranch, Parmesan, and red pepper flakes and included it in a little bag. The pizza was cheesey and loaded with toppings. The online order system made it easy to add, remove, or sub toppings. The crust had the perfect crunch and wasn't too thin or thick. It was so good! The panuozzo was so good and like nothing I've had before. I thought it was going to be too much bread but it wasn't . there was so much meat and toppings that it was perfect. The online system makes it easy to remove things but there are no substitutions. That was fine because I just don't eat tomatoes or mayo so being able to remove those allowed me to really enjoy it. This is now at the top of my list for carry out and I will be back to try some other items. read more

I ordered the Italian Panuozzo sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious! It's packed with meat, and the combination of flavors is incredible every bite is bursting with flavor. The sandwich is huge, so it's hard to take a bite without getting a little bit of everything. It's definitely enough to last all day, or you can easily share it with someone. A coworker had told me about the sandwiches here. They had ordered them a few times for team meetings. I wound up stopping by to grab one for lunch. ***take-out and delivery only*** That's on me. I might have missed that detail with his story. The store is for employees only. Call and let them know you're there when you arrive. They will bring it out to your car. The picture of the Mortadella doesn't do it justice. These are MASSIVE sandwiches. I suggested getting some for dinner one night. I ordered three Italians for my wife, one of my sons, and myself. I can only eat half of these. Which is great because the other half was a really good lunch. It's a little drive from my home, but these are some of the best sandwiches I've had in Austin. Best Italian sandwich I've had in Austin. Better than home slice by a mile and theirs was my long standing fave. It's curbside and delivery only, they bring your order out to your car. I pulled into a gas station parking lot to eat some of it like a little garbage rat and had no shame, it was so good. Also it was bigger than my head. And I have a big head so like, yeah. I've been on the hunt for a good Italian sub in Austin that doesn't cost $20+, and Market Street Pizza definitely hits the spot. It's affordable, the bread is excellent, and the fillings are generous. I also love the variety of pizza flavors they offer. Everything is made from scratch and cooked to order. If you're from the Northeast or Jersey area and craving a taste of home, this is the place. They offer takeout and delivery only. Delivery is handled by a third-party service, not Market Street directly, so if you have any concerns, I'd recommend ordering pickup. I've had delivery issues in the past where my food was stolen. It's not Market Street's fault at all, just the third-party service . Staff was very nice and helped replace my stolen items & issue me a refund . I personally stick to pickup unless delivery is necessary. read more

OK, seriously this is the best sandwich I've ever had in my life. The bread is perfect. The vegetables the meats everything about this is great. I drove an hour one way to get the sandwich and I should've driven too. It's that great. The Italian sandwich is what this place is known for. It's delicious, packed with lots of meat and it's HUGEEEEE. These pictures don't do its justice. If you love Italian subs at Home Slice Pizza, you gotta give this place a try. The bread is toasted to perfection with a nice crunch without being chewy or doughy. They stack up the meat nicely between shredded lettuce, banana peppers, and tomatoes. Oil, vinegar and mayo add a nice contrast of a bit of tartness and creaminess to balance to saltiness and richness of the meat. The cheese is like a sheet of cheese grilled - slightly melted and well blended with everything else. I think one sandwich can easily feed 2 people with very big appetite, or feed 3-4 people. Its curbside pickup and delivery only, so don't come inside. Call ahead or order online and the staff will bring it to your car. It takes about 30 minutes. Definitely give it a try if you crave a sandwich or just something mouthful. read more

There's the saying "don't let your bad days define you" and our experience with Market Street Pizza certainly follows that. We recently ordered pizza from here a couple of days ago and they had gotten the order wrong which was a bummer. We left a review of our experience, not thinking much of it after we posted. To our surprise however, we got a call from Jamie the store manager of Market Street letting us know that they not only refunded the order entirely but also wanted another chance to win our business. We were shocked by the gesture and extremely grateful. It is rare that a business not only cares about reviews but also goes out of its way to make things right when they go wrong. Look, we are all human, mistakes happen. But what doesn't happen (at least often) is a business has the integrity to look a customer in the eye and make things right. We decided to take Jamie up on the offer and got another pizza and this time it was significantly better. The crust was far less doughy, the cheese was perfect, and the sauce was still good. Far, far better pizza, enough so that we would come back for it. The biggest takeaway from all this is that if you value good small businesses who practice business the right way and ethically then this is the spot for you. Some of us have been quietly feasting while the rest of Austin played catch up. Found this place online looking for other pizza options. The toppings were delicious but the cheese was a bit rubbery ( for me ) and the crust underneath was a bit soggy! Love the outer rim would have been better with garlic butter tho! The service was a little weird, but rather weird than bad. What I don't like is that you can't enter the building which is a little odd to me! So it's a no on the return to me I would like to see where my food is prepared or at least have the option. FYI, they only have 3 assigned curbside spots! Seems a bit chaotic system for service! read more

The flavors of this place are absolutely bonkers. Where else can you get a Reuben pizza, honestly. The only thing I don't care for is that the crust does not reheat well at all. This place is amazing. For starters This place is curbside only so all you have to do is drive up to a spot, call the phone number on the sign. My Italian panuozzo was probably the best sandwich I've ever had in my 21 years of living. The cheese bread was also just perfect. My food was brought to me by the owner Dave and we had a very cool conversation, he's really enthusiastic about his craft and you can tell he takes pride in what he makes. I'm back to Market Street Pizza. This time I was lucky enough to be the first person to try the NEW Turkey Reuben Panuozzo. It was AMAZING! From the fresh carved turkey to the homemade slaw with the fresh bread is a perfect blend of hot turkey with the crunch of the slaw to the yumminess of the fresh baked bread. I'll eventually make it down the menu to their pizzas. The service as well is top notch. Every time I've gone I feel like I'm the only customer they're dealing with. read more

Normally, the pizza is great and the salads are super fresh. But I just had an experience and I'm not happy about it. When I got my pizza, the flavors are great BUT the crust was so hard. Chewing it really hurt my jaws after a while. I called to let them know. And instead of "oh we'll make it right." I got a " I will let the manager know". Who does that? I didn't think Austin could pull off truly authentic pizza. I was dead wrong. Baldinucci is absolute sorcery. The moment I took a bite of their Roman-style pizza, I was instantly thrown back to the tiny, narrow pizzerias I stumbled into in Italy. It has that exact, hyper-specific airy crunch that is so incredibly hard to replicate outside of Europe. The dough is clearly fermented with patience. It's light, shatteringly crisp on the bottom, and has those beautiful, irregular air pockets that give it a pillowy structure without ever feeling heavy. Let's talk about the sauce, because that's where most places fail. It isn't that sugary, paste-heavy stuff you find at standard joints. It is vibrant, bright, and tastes intensely of sun-ripened tomatoes and clean olive oil. It is remarkably fresco; striking that perfect balance where the acidity cuts through the richness of the cheese without overwhelming the palate. The vibe inside the West Lake spot is casual and unpretentious, but they take their craft seriously. Food service is streamlined and efficient; you order at the counter, and they pop the slices back into the oven so they land at your table screaming hot. The staff is genuinely proud of what they're slinging, and they should be. If you are an East Coast transplant drowning in a sea of mediocre pies, do yourself a favor and get over to West Lake. It's the real deal. PS: The gelato flavors are also sorcery. However, a review of their gelato is for another time. I must continue to savor the pie for now.

First time ordering tonight. Excellent amount of food for the price. I had a large 1 topping (Pepperoni) pizza ($9.99), chicken alfredo, a small side salad, 2 gyros and 2 cookies. The pizza was amazing. Yes it's greasy....what do you expect with Pepperoni lol. The crust was perfect (not too chewy or hard) and the sauce was good (light sweet taste). The alfredo was VERY garlicy but overall I liked it. It came with 2 breadsticks which I thought were perfect size. (they were similar in size to pretzel rods) For once a pizza place that doesn't make huge breadsticks. I have not tried the gyros yet or the cookies but I have no doubt they will be good based on the food I have already tried. The man who delivered asked me if I was a first time customer, I said yes and he said he noticed when I ordered I was new and he wanted to deliver the food himself--- he is the owner!!!! Top notch pizza! We had the taco pizza, all meat pizza and the garlic cheesy bread, which were all amazing!!! If you come from the Midwest and have been lucky enough to enjoy a good taco pizza you'll know what I'm talking about. The all meat was fully loaded and is not meant for any light weights! The garlic cheesy bread was fantastic as well loved the crispy burnt cheese on the ends! Also doesn't hurt when the owner hand delivers you your food and you share a common bond common from the Midwest... When I knew where he was from, I knew the Taco wasn't going to let me down! He definitely upsold me on having future visits, talking about his other "speciality pizzas" as well and taking the time to just chat with a customer. You could really feel the passion that he had for his food and was later delighted to know that he didn't let me down. I've been to New York, Chicago, and even Italy and this pizza takes it. Best pizza I've had. The flavor of the crust is so delicious, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I ordered a BLT pizza my first visit and it was SO delicious. They make theirs with ranch, instead of mayo (other places use mayo), which I was skeptical about at first.. but it is THE best way to eat a BLT pizza. I also tried chicken Alfredo pasta and even that was delicious! I'd give this place 6 stars if I could. Not only was the food delicious the service was great as well. Beyond Disappointed! I went to get my pizza today to only discover that NONE of their employees are wearing masks. I ended up calling the restaurant directly asking for the contact for the owner hoping he could coach his staff, only to find out the owner was working and he said that he DOES NOT allow his employees to wear masks. He said that he takes temperatures so he knows if his employees are covid Positive (what a dumb response). Whatever you do avoid this place - Zero care and respect for their customers. He thinks because their dining room is closed it means his employees (including the ones who bring the curbside food out to you) don't need to follow the law and wear masks to prevent spread. read more

The service was extremely rude and unhelpful from the start. The cashier showed no interest in assisting customers and made the interaction uncomfortable rather than welcoming. The ambience was just as bad. The overall atmosphere felt unpleasant and poorly maintained, which made it hard to enjoy the experience at all. Unfortunately, the food was the worst part. It lacked quality, flavor, and care, and it was clear that very little attention was given to preparation or presentation. Overall, this was a very disappointing visit. I thought I would update my review since I have been frequenting this restaurant for almost a yr. I normally just post one comment and don't update but I feel this place deserves it. I have learned that this place is family owned and have stayed consistent with taste, quality and customer service. One of the owners told me they make everything from scratch. WOW!! In the past yr or so we have ordered just about everything on the menu and it's delicious. The inside is clean and the people that work there actually care. I give this place a 5+ stars. Finally!!! A good pie in north Austin. I have lived here for 15 years and was glad when I tried this place. Everything was good ...light fresh crust perfect sauce and cheese. I no longer have to order pizza i don't like. Very nice staff too. I order pick up and I usually get the $9.99 large pepperoni. The kids won't let me get any other pizza now. The family-owned restaurant is located in a bit of an eerie-looking industrial complex. They only have a counter inside with some picnic tables outside. They primarily do deliveries. I ordered the rigatoni bolognese, which I read was a popular choice from their reviews. It tasted alright, and the meat sauce was just okay. It was $20 for a decent portion that I finished in one meal. The two pieces of garlic bread were so soft and delicious though. It was also very cute that they gave valentine's day chocolate and candy in a little pouch.

Think almost cracker-like as opposed to crispy outside/chewy inside like a New York pizza. The tomato sauce had a slightly tangy flavor that worked well with the thin crust. We ordered a half cheese, half vodka pie. The vodka side is the one with the pepper on it in the picture. Both were really good and kid approved, which is always the real test ;) You order at the counter, and they take your phone number and text you when your food is ready. We ended up wandering around Springdale General and checking out a few of the little shops while we waited. It was about a 30 minute wait on a Saturday around 6 pm. When we came back to the shared seating area they actually brought the pizza and salad directly to our table even though we didn't have a table number or anything. I'm not sure if that's standard or if they just recognized us from ordering, but it was a really thoughtful touch. You're eating off paper plates with plastic utensils, so very casual experience. It feels like the kind of place where you could grab takeout or bring kids. We also ordered the Little Gem salad. It was a good size and easily split between two adults and two kids. I was also impressed with the beer and wine selection. I didn't notice any NA beer in the display case, although the menu mentioned Athletic Lite. The dining setup at Springdale General is shared with a few other places including a sushi place, The Front Page bar, and Medici Coffee. The space was pretty packed when we went. Both trash stations were completely overflowing. It was honestly a balancing act to get our plates in there. Since it's a shared dining area I don't think that falls directly on Smalls, but whoever manages the space probably needs to keep a closer eye on it. Also, for a casual place, they didn't offer self-serve soda. They give you plastic cups and you can refill water at a water fountain down the hall by the bathrooms. I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars. New Haven style pizza is extremely thin and crisp, and the crust almost eats like a cracker. Personally I still lean toward a New York or New Jersey style with more chew, but I tried to rate this based on the experience and the quality of what they're aiming to do, not my personal preference of New York over New Haven. Austin already has a lot of great pizza, so I'm not sure how often I'd go back, but I'm glad a place is bringing New Haven style into the mix.

Seriously, their cheese and crust are on a whole other level. I always enjoy the Margherita pizza and the classic Pepperoni pizza, with the added yummies of mushrooms. And I can never not pair my pizzas with the Rasta Pasta Salad. The ranch dressing is delicious. For our sweet tooth, I can't forget the BIG NY cheesecake for dessert. The pizza rolls are always an easy favorite as well!

The margarita drink was also pretty good Overall good service and it's nice to see something that reminds me of home however I'll give it some time before I revisit

Overall: good flavors, amazing bread, but a little pricey for what we got.
