Our second time dining here was just as outstanding as the first. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the outdoor space creates such a lovely atmosphere. This was the worst restaurant I've ever been to. I was there to celebrate my son's 23rd birthday thinking that this was a special high-end restaurant and there's nothing of Farm to table there. The ribeye steak was terrible. Nothing special about it. It was a classy ribeye steak for $90. The chicken was dry. The ratatouille was the only thing that was actually good. The appetizers were nothing special at all for a very small amount and high prices, the french fries were so soggy not crispy. The delay on bringing our food was outrageous. Our reservation was at 7:30. We didn't get served till a little past 9 o'clock. Our server was the only thing good about this restaurant she was excellent. The the ambience is nice, but I would never go back there at all. Go pick another restaurant for your special occasion because this place is terrible. read more

I love this little area of winter garden and this is prime real estate next to their Christmas events and farmers market. The interior is dimly lit and has a nice bar area and limited indoor seating. We had a reservation for 10 and they were very accommodating. Our server was so hospitable, friendly and thoughtful. We got bone marrow for the table and he asked if we'd like to take the leftovers for the dogs and promptly bagged it up. The website says you need reservations but we walked in on a Thursday evening and were seated right away. There were plenty of servers and each table got their own server, so lots of attention when needed. The portion sizes for the entrees was plenty to eat there and not have any leftovers. I ordered the tagliatelle. The pasta was cooked well, the sauce was good but too tangy/acidic for my tastebuds. Will order something else next time. My husband ordered the chicken and he liked it. Had my parents in town after walking around Lake Apopka. Highly recommend! The staff was incredibly helpful in describing dishes and the specials. My mom has dietary restrictions and they were extremely accommodating. Their PEI mussels were simple but perfectly executed and I just stopped shy of tipping the whole bowl of their cooking liquid into my mouth. I had made a reservation for 7:30 for my sisters birthday since it was a Saturday night, and had a relatively small party (3). We were greeted at the door and were told that the table where we were supposed to have still had people on it and it would be about a 10 minute wait. Unfortunately it was more like a 40 minute wait, which wasn't ideal since they closed at 9. Once we were seated, it did take a little bit of time to get taken care of, but once our server Michael came over, he took great care of us. We decided to look at the Magical Dining menu since they did mention how they were a participating restaurant. I started off with the Crab Beignets which were perfect little pockets of crab yumminess, I did wish they had one or two more on the plate because they were gobbled. For entree, I ordered a Short Rib with mashed potatoes and some veggies, the short rib was super tender and fall off the bone. I will say that I wish the short rib was a little more seasoned because even with the sauce it was still a little bland, however the mashed potatoes were amazing and added a nice creaminess to the meal! For dessert I ordered the crème brûlée which was very well done and the caramelized cheesecake had a crunch texture on top like a crème brûlée. I originally gave this place a 3/5 but the dessert bumped it to a 4/5. But as a Latina, I was disappointed when the tres leches came out because it was not a tres leches. It was yummy in flavor but it was a brownie, it did not have any "leche". I hope they change that or change the name of the dish. Overall, for a magical dining experience, it was pleasant. read more

Been wanting to try this place for a long time. We didn't make a reservation but were able to easily get a seat at the bar. The two bartenders were super nice and they both helped come up with the craft cocktail menu, which had some interesting selections. Honestly, I cannot remember the name of two of the drinks we ordered, but they were all very strong and delicious. They could also make whatever you wanted as they had a full bar with many liquors I hadn't seen before. For food, we shared the truffled gnocchi which was so, so good! This is my 3rd time here and this meal impressed me so much that I need to write a review. The halibut was incredible. I know they change their menu seasonally but compliments to the chef for creating this combo. It was absolutely delicious. That warm pineapple chutney added so much flavor to the whole dish. Prior visits I enjoyed their Lake Meadows chicken which I think would benefit some kind of roasted veggie but overall was yummy. And i also had their seasonal grouper which was served with polenta and was very tasteless. I requested a side of asparagus because the meal just seemed so plain. Our server, Badre, was fantastic - he is patient, very knowledgeable on the menu items, as well as careful to take care of the allergies at the table; a charming person and very professional. Thoughtful menu selections, all of which were tempting, as well as an extensive wine list. It was difficult to choose as this was our first time dining here. I ordered the Iberico pork steak, one of the specials they offered. It was as tender as a beef filet but juicier and more flavorful than any beef steak. Superb best describes this entree. Came here for dinner with some girlfriends during Magical Dining month. There were so many restaurants to choose from, but we chose Market to Table since the menu looked really good. The restaurant is right in downtown Winter Garden which was a perfect location. It looked really cute on the outside and even nicer inside. The starter my friends chose was the bone marrow and it looked like a decent size to to be an entree itself! They loved it. I went with the shrimp cocktail and it was ok, just like any other restaurant. The stand out was the braised short rib entree I ordered. My portion seemed a lot smaller than my friend's but that was ok. I ate the whole thing. So delicious. Overall, we had a great time and ate very well. It was a good value for the price. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was that our server hardly checked in on us or asked to refill our drinks. read more

We enjoyed a nice dinner at Market to Table in Winter Garden last weekend. This spot had been on our list for awhile and I'm glad we finally got to check it out. It was a busy spot, so I'm glad we were able to make reservations. They had well priced wine and champagne for just $11 a glass -- yes please! We started with the burrata which they do a bit differently, wrapped in prosciutto and fried. It wasn't my favorite preparation as the prosciutto was a little tough and hard to cut and the crostini served with it was stale. I'd probably skip that dish next time, however, we also started with the truffle gnocchi and it was phenomenal! I would go back just for that. You can tell the gnocchi is handmade fresh with care and they give you quite a generous portion. For my main entree, I had the halibut. It was light and cooked perfectly. I wanted something that wasn't too heavy and the fish hit the spot. I was also eyeing their short rib (which I'll have to try next time), but I wanted to save room for dessert. We got the olive oil cake and their fun cotton candy cloud which is fluffy & huge! It definitely makes for a great show and oh, the nostalgia. I can't even remember the last time I had cotton candy. It's super sweet, so highly recommend sharing it. We also really enjoyed the beautiful olive oil cake. We would definitely return to try more of the menu the next time we're in the area! read more

Hands down, this place is my favorite. I am particularly delighted when I come and they have sable fish. It comes pan seared and I love it with their mashed potatoes. The Iberico pork served rare (yes! Rare pork!) is outstanding! The food will not disappoint. The service is also well done! I ordered an old-fashioned libation and the waiter recommended their smoky sweet tea old-fashioned. I tried it and it was interesting! My husband loved his, but because I didn't LOVE it, they took it back and brought me their standard old fashioned. Great service! For desert...let me highlight 'The Cloud' a plateful of cotton candy nostalgia! Their assortment of desserts was lovely, but what other restaurant has cotton candy on their menu!! The price reflects the quality and I'd say it's worth it. Found this on yelp while walking through the area, had a good star rating, so we called and luckily they had space for us. The night started with our waiter Josue, who presented the menu well, and was very appreciative that we chose this farm to table restaurant. The food was exceptional. I had the short rib and recommend it. Unfortunately, I didn't order the Gnocchi after seeing it go out, I will need to go back for it. Interestingly, there is a Jazz bar upstairs that this restaurant services. We will be back to check that out and eat their great food. read more

We visited Market to Table on New Year's Eve for their prix fixe menu. The three of us were seated immediately in a cozy table by the window. I started with the cold smoked Buffalo, which was excellent. It was tender and flavorful. The mixed greens served with it were slightly overdressed for my taste, but my companion found them perfectly dressed. Next, I had the lamb with spatzle. This dish was interesting in that it was wildly inconsistent between mine and my companion's. He got significantly more lamb, more cheese, and less breadcrumb than I did. I was not thrilled because I felt that there wasn't enough lamb and it was dry with all the breadcrumbs, but when I tried some of his it was much less dry. After that, I got the halibut. The halibut was firm and nicely cooked, but unfortunately not very well seasoned. It tasted fine, but a little bland. The bean cassoulet underneath was delicious. For dessert, I got the spiced ginger cake. It was served cold with a scoop of ice cream. The ice cream was very good, but it was half melted when we got it, and they barely waited for us to finish our main courses to bring it out. To drink, I had a winter spin on a gin and tonic. It was very tonic heavy, and it advertised a hint of cranberry but didn't have enough to actually taste it. Overall, I was unimpressed. The meal cost 95 not including drinks. We all felt that was a little steep for what we got. It also took 45 minutes for the first course to come out, which surprised me. While I like coming here for dinner, I likely wouldn't return for a prix fixe menu event like this since I felt that it was not worth the value we paid. At 95, I would hope for at least a glass of wine to be included. read more

Worst food experience in Central Florida in quite sometime. It's unfortunate because I had heard good things in the past, but as someone who knows and loves food, I can only be honest in hopes to help others. We had a reservation tonight (Saturday) and were thrown to the loud table by the kitchen. Generally, I'd love sitting somewhere like this, but it seemed we were forgotten about by our waitress for the first hour we were there. After finally receiving waters and drinks, we put in our apps and entrees because of the wait and even threw in a bread order because we were so hungry. Our rolls were forgotten until after the appetizers came out. Though they were late, they were the only decent part of the meal for me. I ordered the short rib ravioli and the meadow chicken. The ravioli was ok. Three small ravioli with tons of mushrooms. The chicken dish was inedible. To my surprise, the dish was not served as the menu stated. It was supposed to be chicken, tagliatelle pasta, veg, and a quail egg. The chicken was not at all seasoned - not even salt and pepper and was served over a lousy quick-boiled risotto with no quail egg. I couldn't eat it. At least there's dessert, right? I chose the chocolate cake thinking it's hard to go wrong with that. It tasted like chemicals. I'm still unable to identify it, but after one bite I could no longer eat it. I'm not sure if they started to clean the kitchen and some sort of chemical or soap (honestly more like a hairspray or nail polish remover taste) got into my dessert or what the deal was. Someone else at my table ordered the same thing and had the same experience, saying it tasted like plastic. Bizarre.. We couldn't eat and I left hungry. I'm super upset that an establishment that is assumed to deliver quality could be this poor. read more

Very thoughtful menu What I got a craft cocktail, Floridita, it was very nice and refreshing. I can taste the alcohol, crafty. I also got the parmesan fries with the parmesan on the side (I don't eat dairy). The bartender was very nice to give me a side of the truffle oil. It was good fries, i don't doubt it would be better with the aioli and the parmesan. I also got the ahi tartare. This came with small pieces of bread. I thought I wouldn't like it cause of the capers and olives but I actually didn't taste it. Pretty good. This past Friday evening I caught up with some friends over dinner at Market to Table in Winter Garden. Let's talk about it. Market to Table is on the ground floor of the Roper Garden building. A bit small, it makes up for the interior space with nice outdoor seating and a lovely ambience inside... ie mood lighting/decor. Our server was great, friendly, and knew the off menu specials from memory including preparations. We started off with the Parmesan truffle fries, bread basket, and the lamb ravioli. All were great. Especially the ravioli which had a deep rich umami flavor from the mushroom cream sauce. The star of the show was the bread basket with the 3 different butters and truffle honey. I could eat that all day and twice on Sunday. The presentation was wonderful on all of the starters. My entree was the short rib with vegetables, subbed with risotto instead of pureed potatoes. You could have cut the short rib with a spoon... however everything was mostly bland and I had to request a shaker of table salt to amp up the flavor a bit. That did the trick. Dessert was the crème brûlée. It was your standard fare but the portion size was fairly generous. Delish. All in all, I enjoyed my short stay at Market to Table and will probably make a return visit at some point in the near future. read more

So this is very disappointing because I always want to have something good to say about all establishments that I go to. Even if it's terrible service, I still want to find something good to say about the food venues because I have once worked in the food industry. I won't do my regular formatting in this review because of how I felt my experience went. Everything started pretty well. We decided to get appetizers cause we didn't see anything on the main course menu we wanted. The drinks were good, and even the Parmesan fries and the calamari were pretty good. My friend got the gnocchi, which was okay until we saw a larva in her food. We didn't freak out too much because we had been in food management before, and we understand situations happen. But I have always been taught when there is a foreign object or an insect in someone's food. The guest should be taken care of. I don't think we were taken care of; they charged us for our entire meal and didn't recover anything. The waiter asked us if we wanted to replace it with something else, and she did, but she never took it off the bill. We got the flourless cake, and it was okay. The manager also came out to speak to us, and he apologized and was very nice. Honestly, he should have been the one to comp the whole meal at the table. I have been to plenty of fine dining restaurants, and I have no issue paying for food. If anyone finds an insect in their food, there should be some compensation, especially in higher-end restaurants. read more

Made reservations here some time in January. Since it was so far in advance for an early Valentine's Day i had to fill out a form to have someone follow up with me. I was pleasantly happy when someone contacted me via phone call two days following me filling out the form. Fast forward... on the 11th , I received a text message to confirm my reservation. And another text reminder and hour or so before my scheduled dinner plans on 2/12 . Me and my husband arrived and parked in the garage behind the restaurant. Once we arrived i was so happy we did make reservations because it looked to be quite a wait time since quite a few people were standing outside. Once we made it inside people were also being turned away since i assume they were at capacity. We were seated right away once we told them our names. Our waitress Andrea came over a few minutes afterwards, and she was so pleasant and informative explaining the menu and specials they have. We started with an appetizer( Fried Calamari ) and drinks, followed my ordering our food. They had four cocktails and we tried them all. The waitress Andrea recommended the beef short rib & I'm glad she did it was delicious and as she said "fell off the bone" . She told us to save room for dessert but we were stuffed & my husband had sweets awaiting me once i got home. I will definitely come back to try the strawberry macaroon . Had dinner here for the first time on a Saturday evening. We came at opening at 5pm and were seated right away at our preferred bar seating. The bartenders here are top notch, and far exceeded our expectations. It is by far the best cocktail program in Winter Garden. Mike and Sha made it such a pleasant experience for us. The drinks on the menu were all amazing, but either of the bartenders were happy to make a custom cocktail based on your preferences! The food was also great, don't skip the filet!
