Old school vibes. The musics sways to Sinatra. Very friendly service. Complementary valet parking (although not necessary on the Sunday night we went. Started with the beef carpaccio, tuna crudo and heirloom tomato and grilled peaches. All were excellent but if I had to pick one it would be the tuna crudo. Had the dry aged bone-in strip and ribeye which were also excellent and cooked to temperature properly. Of note they're dry aged for 60 days. The Mac and cheese were delightful. The only thing I wouldn't order again would be the mushrooms as they were quite bland. The lemon crème brûlée was torched tableside and was outstanding. So was the banana cheesecake. Had a delightful time and would say this is my favorite steakhouse in the Orlando area.

Great staff, we had a great night out. Bartender made great martinis! All our food was very good! What stood out was the bread service! The place was very nice to impress a date. It is expensive but no different than other chop houses. Desserts were good but I couldn't eat anymore.

Service was great! They provided top notch food recommendations, especially since it was a girls night out and we just wanted to split a bottle of wine and share some plates! Ambiance is very moody and perfect for a date night or GNO!! I'm still dreaming about their bread service

Awesome service, awesome food, and the perfect date night spot! The menu consists of a great deal of options for everyone. My wife surprised me for my birthday and I'm glad we celebrated here!

Outstanding Food - the price point is really high in my opinion but for a special occasion it is worth it especially with the location and the beautiful environment. Perfect date spot to celebrate a special occasion. The staff is very attentive and helpful when it comes to finding what you like.

I didn't plan on falling in love with this super expensive steakhouse (I mean it is really expensive in my opinion and their whole menu is a la carte so no sides are included with your steak.. definitely scared my wallet at first), but here we are... defying the odds. After reading some reviews, I will say this, don't go to a steakhouse if you don't plan on eating a steak. The cocktails were superb! The bread service bread was so soft and delicious (I just wish they had herb butter paired with it). Our beef tartare didn't just arrive; it made a dramatic entrance in a cloud of smoke. My filet was the standout of the night for sure...a TRUE medium rare that would make a steak purist shed a tear. Every suggestion from the lively staff was spot on, from cocktails to appetizers to sauces that pair well with our cuts. Our maple bourbon creme brûlée was fantastic and also torched in front of us by our waiter, Daniel! And then you find out the executive chef used to work at Bern's Steak House? Suddenly it all makes sense. The modern decor and delicious menu items will has me wanting to come back for more, but the price point will only have me coming back for special occasions ;)

First - really great service. We sat at the bar and the bartender was fantastic. Very attentive and friendly. Came in at the end of their social hour so it wasn't too busy. Ordered a couple of things to split and try. Will go back just for the bread service. Delicious! Great for a date or casual business meeting.

I enjoyed the "feel" of the place. It felt like somewhere I'd want to go again. We showed up about 9ish on a Saturday without reservation. The restaurant was full and no tables available but the bar had seats with a full menu. We were able to also put our name on the waitlist and got called within the amount of time we were told. Bartenders were nice and welcoming. Our server at our table was also very nice. Prices are on par for what you'd find a steak/chop house. That means you can expect a bill on the higher end. The drinks were generally good. However I feel like the Evolution was better in theory than in practice. The mango flavor was lighter than I'd like. Which could be fine if you prefer more alcohol forward drinks. A cut above taste like other classic cocktails (manhattan, old fashioned). Good, not great. As for the food: Scallops- very good. Asparagus - not my favorite, a little too firm for my liking. Shrimp cocktail - will always be a 10 for me regardless how simple , cocktail sauce seemed to be made in house Steak - in the same realm as a steak from Kres. So, how you feel about that will inform how you might feel. To me, just ok (definitely try it for yourself). Next time I'll go lamb which I love at Kres and see how it compares. Pommes Puree - simple, not my preference, but not bad In all, I enjoyed the experience. I'll be back I would give it a 4.2-4.5 but since I can't, I'll give it a 5.

I came in for brunch with my friends to celebrate finishing the OUC half marathon and had an amazing experience. The service was truly incredible. They were very accommodating when we had a last minute extra person join our party of 6. The restaurant is gorgeous and well decorated for Christmas. It was relaxing and sophisticated. To drink, I got the Bloody Mary. It was delicious and the blue cheese olives were perfection. I also got at cardamom bun from the pastry cart. It was served warm and had a lovely spice to it. I liked that it wasn't too sweet. The pastries were large and we loved being able to share them. I also got a cappuccino with my pastry and it was delicious. For my entree, I got the burger with waffle fries. The sauce on the burger was divine. Thick, mustardy, and tart. I could bath in that sauce. The fries were crisp, hot, and well seasoned. My friends got the steak and eggs, French toast, and French omelette and they all loved their experience as well. We will definitely be back again!

Bread and carpaccio. The best things of the night!
    Vincent L.

My overall experience was pretty good but like others have said the food here is just ok. The best things we had were the carpaccio, the waffle fries and the bread service. The main entrees were just ok. I had the braised short rib and it was bland. It was also a bit tough to cut through, not as tender as it should be. Usually with braised short ribs (if done properly) all you need is a fork. I still had to use a knife! I can say however their cosmo was perfect! One of the best I've had and I've had many! Final thing I'll mention is that I think it's a little odd that the chef prefers tables order everything at once. (This was communicated by our waiter) I understand it's a timing thing but I've NEVER in my life been told that at a restaurant. If a chef can't manage orders at different times...how can they operate? One and done for me. Hopefully this place will last.

Turned a rip age this year and figured it was worth celebrating with a good group of friends at a swanky spot. This place did not disappoint! Prep your wallet and come with an empty stomach because helpings are large and well... the prices are rightfully sized too. I ordered a huge 16oz prime ribeye which I couldn't finish, took home and made steak and eggs the next day. Service took a little bit but honestly it was slammed for a Thursday so understandable. Our servers dropped off an extra appetizer "by accident" but maybe they knew the entrees would take a bit haha One of those days where you're just happy a new business in Orlando is thriving. Winter park was missing something we didn't know, at least up until now!

    Kimone M.

First of all, the ambiance is lovely. I went with a couple friends. We had a reservation, we were seated quickly. We got bread service--- amazing. One of the team members, said don't fight over the last piece of bread... spot on bc it was that good. Our server made good recommendations. I had oysters for appetizer, I slurped it up so fast and forgot to take a photo-- it was great. For my entree I had the lamb (medium rare) but seem to be more rare, which is not a complaint :) AMAZING. I had the Ernesto, lovely cocktail. It gets busy, and I could tell our server was busy, but always pleasant. It's great place for friends or date night.

    John R.

A truly amazing experience. Not knowing Winter Park really well it was also nice to see another part of the town and have it be a little more quiet and easier to find parking. When coming here for dinner the place was only three weeks old but other than it looking new, service was like it has been there for forever. The Stracciatella - Heirloom tomato, sourdough, herb pistou and Grilled Garlic Shrimp - Tomato, chile, green olive to start were wonderful. The Bread Service - Milk bread, salted european butter is an add on but it works. I wish, however, there were more bread options. Splitting a Prime Ribeye was wonderful for dinner. Super tasty and cooked to perfection. I certainly didn't need it but the Kiwi Key Lime Pie - Graham crust, kiwi jam, meringue was a great finish to the meal. Overall, couldn't be more happy with the experience. Good beer selection too. I hope they rotate them on a regular basis to keep the selection fresh.

We ended up sitting at the bar to avoid waiting for a table. The bar was really tight but we made it work. My friend ordered an espresso martini, and it was too milky. For our food, everything was excellent. The avocado toast was fresh and the eggs were perfectly over medium. The home fries were also perfectly crispy. My friend ordered the kale salad with chicken and we both agreed it was one of the best salads we've ever had. The kale was fresh, the chicken was very tender and the dressing was the perfect amount. Our high-top caught the steady breeze of people cycling in and out, trading blasts of humid Florida air with AC, but it was manageable enough. Our server was solid and attentive, though the kitchen had a couple of operational hiccups. I ordered the fried green tomatoes to start, but they were forgotten until after our main plates had already landed on the table. When they arrived, the execution was decent. The batter didn't adhere well and slipped off the tomatoes, though the accompanying sauce carried the dish nicely. On the drink side, the virgin blackberry lemonade hit the mark completely: balanced, tart, and refreshing. The breakfast mains were where the kitchen redeemed itself. I built my meal around the bacon and mushroom omelette, which was formidable. It was fully loaded with bacon, cheese, peppers, onions, and mushrooms without feeling greasy or heavy. They had run out of biscuits, which was surprising for a brunch spot mid-shift, so I subbed in sourdough toast. The undisputed star of the meal was the side of cheese grits. I am notoriously particular about grits, restaurants almost always serve them under-salted, gluey, or watery, requiring a table-side overhaul of butter, salt, and pepper. These were dialed in straight from the kitchen. The texture, dairy integration, cheese ratio, and baseline seasoning were spot-on without needing a single touch of salt or pepper. Minor timing and stock quirks aside, BriarPatch remains a reliable staple. I left full, satisfied, and reminded why it is always worth keeping in the local Park Ave rotation.

The steak frites are just as magnificent as my boyfriend and I remembered. Have you ever had a food memory? Years ago, my dad made the best steak I've ever had. He passed away when I was a kid, and two summers ago, when I took my first bite of the steak here, my mouth watered... but so did my eyes. It was one of the strangest, most beautiful experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. For a moment, it felt like Dad was sitting at the table with us. To taste something so familiar, something I hadn't experienced in over twenty years, was surreal. That's not a compliment I hand out lightly. So we each had that For this visit, we started with the rock shrimp tacos, and they absolutely did not disappoint. They packed a nice little kick without overwhelming the dish, and we practically inhaled them. Of course, we had to finish the meal the same way we did last time: with churros. Somehow they were even better than we remembered. Crispy, warm, perfectly sweet, exactly the kind of dessert that makes you argue over who gets the last bite. My boyfriend ordered two Old Fashioneds, and I had two Cosmos. Both were delicious and definitely generous on the pour. I was a little concerned when we arrived for our 8:00 p.m. reservation because the place was PACKED for a Thursday night. We ended up waiting a bit past our reservation time. The hostess suggested we grab a drink at the bar, but that area was just as crowded, so we hung out in the lobby instead. The wait ended up being completely worth it because we were seated at the exact table I was secretly hoping for: the most perfect little corner window booth, straight out of a movie scene. It was the ideal setting for our last night of vacation. And then there was our server, Anton. Anton could teach a master class on waiting tables. He was efficient, funny, attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what he was doing. In a world where great service sometimes feels like a lost art, Anton was an absolute delight. The Ravenous Pig delivered once again: phenomenal food, excellent cocktails, memorable service, and one of those meals you'll still be talking about long after you've gone home. We can't wait for our next trip to Orlando and our next visit back.

The snapper collar tacos were the star of the show. Easily enough to share between two people, with fresh fish and really good homemade corn tortillas. The fish of the day was also excellent and the fresh ciabatta with garlic butter was hard to stop eating. The cauliflower appetizer missed the mark a bit for me, the pieces were a little too big and came out slightly undercooked. The chicken salad was just alright, nothing bad but nothing memorable either. Parking can be a little tough in the area, but the complimentary valet makes it much easier. I love that they have a quicker option out back with the beer garden, you can't go wrong!

Although Emily told us she has only been working as a server here for the last two weeks, I think she will have a great run at this location. She has an effervescent personality and was easy to talk to and laugh with, which she displayed to all of her customers. Obviously, we became good friends with her throughout the night. Emily allowed us to have a tasting of various wines to determine which one we would like to select for the evening. We went with the Adelsheim Pinot Noir ($88 a bottle) to start the night. We ordered the Bacon Wrapped Dates (serving of three), the Burrata (a combination of cheese, basil pesto, tomatoes and balsamic dijon vinaigrette on wood grilled ciabatta bread), the Tuna Crudo (seared ahi tuna with cucumbers, pineapple and cilantro) and a board consisting of Spanish style salame and aged Gouda cheese. The board also had roasted almonds and honeycomb, along with the bread. As the night continued, we ordered another bottle of the Pinot Noir and a second helping of the fantastic Burrata. We appreciated the fact that we were not rushed from our table as we were allowed to have a relaxing and enjoyable evening of great conversation. At the end of the night, Emily provided us with a slice of olive oil citrus cake on the house. (What a thoughtful touch!) It was a heavenly ending to the evening and went well with our wine selection. The parking in this plaza is always a nightmare with how many business there are in the area, but we snagged a parking spot behind the regal!

They provide a dry erase menu to build your burger or you can do one of the preset menu items on the opposite side. The food came out quickly and was made exactly as ordered. I tried the truffle fries with my order but felt that the plain fries would have been a good choice as well. The service was excellent and the location has a lot of windows with natural light as well as outdoor seating. Definitely would go back and have another.

We got the chicken sandwich, brussel sprouts, and steak special to share with a cocktail each. The brussel sprouts were not the crispy kind like most restaurant serve but were pretty good considering. The chicken and steak were delicious and drinks were refreshing. I think Hillstone is nice for an occasion but be prepared to spend a good bit for your meal.

Hillstone in Winter Park is such a great spot for lunch. The energy was buzzing today. Service was…read moretop notch the entire time, not once did we have an empty cup or even an empty sugar packet on the table. So attentive!! The freshly squeezed grapefruit juice was absolutely perfect, not bitter, not sour, just right. The spinach and artichoke dip is honestly one of the best in town. It is so smooth and creamy, almost like they blend everything together so there are no big chunks. I could eat that dip alone and leave happy. Haha. For my main I had the pan seared trout topped with rock shrimp and it came with the most delicious slightly sweet coleslaw on the side. My fiancé ordered the rotisserie chicken with wild rice pilaf and it was equally amazing. Everything about this lunch was on point. Hillstone is consistent and that's why we keep coming back.

I also love that there's live music in the evenings. You can't go wrong with the food. Anything you order is delicious. I enjoy the Brie appetizer and duck on French bread. I'm a big fan of the salmon tacos and seafood pasta They are usually a wine and beer bar but at this location they offer very limited mix drinks in collaboration with a local bar. The service is always spectacular and I love Tino. He's the coolest owner who loves manning the bar. It's a great place for a date, girl's night or just unwinding. I love the vibe. Since it's downtown Winter Park, there should be plenty of parking. My new go-to spot!

Got sat right away and the hostess said she'll bring some menus over. One of the TVs next to us was time lagged and had to watch a further television for the latest up-to-date action. The ambiance wasn't a sports crowd here so we just had a snack and decided to go to the Irish pub afterwards for more soccer fan action. Over half the people weren't even watching the TVs or didn't seem to know that this is the final FIFA game They had some specials today and wondering so bc everyone around us got wings but didn't see it on the menu. Got the wings and they were fantastic. I didn't like the thai sauce so much so was glad to have that on the side. Ask for a ranch but received blue cheese, didn't know until I found a big hunk of blue cheese in there but I didn't mind that, it just lacked flavor. I liked how they did only celery and no carrots for I enjoy that more when accompanying chicken wings. The tacos that were seen looked pretty good and was considering them Kentucky bourbon barrel ale and Black widow NA cider were nicely presented in cold glasses and complimented the wings well Good service, and got checked up on regularly. Just had to grab her for the check before the halftime started
