A legendary spot in Pike Place Market! I had many friends suggest I visit this spot while in Seattle and it was worth the hype...especially if you love tea. Every tea imaginable is available here, plus they're particularly famous for their orange cinnamon black tea (which tastes like non-alcoholic Fireball). If you can't decide what to get, I highly recommend the "Sack of Sh*t" -- a mystery bag filled with teas and coffees to try! Super worth it.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A lovely little tea shop nestled in the corner of Pike's Place Market.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would consider it a core part of the tourist Pike's Place experience, since it is located nearby the fish-slingers and offers unique samples of exquisite tasting teas. Their cold tea sampler was a refreshing, rejuvenating part of walking through Pike's Place and I purchased some individual tea bags with some crazy flavors (there was a "pho broth" tea!). The employees are super friendly and they've got some funny gimmick "loot box" type random bags for adventurous types. Huge fan, will bring others back.

This little tea and spice shop at Pike Place is a gem and a great place to buy gifts and souvenirs. The cinnamon orange is their iconic signature tea. Right at the entrance, they have samples of the hot tea to lure you in. It's very good! (For anyone who's been to the Kobuk tea shop in downtown Anchorage or at the ANC airport, this tea is very similar to their Samovar tea! A good substitute!) They offer a range of packaged tea that come in teabags and also loose leaf. The smell is incredible. I bought a few on my most recent visit to give away as xmas gifts and also bought a bag of loose leaf tea for myself. Be careful and make sure to read the labels cuz they cone in caffeinated and decaf (I absolutely have to have caffeinated). There are way more teas and they have a wall of spices. I also saw that they sold yerba mate and also the mate cups you drink out of which was cool to see. The cashier was friendly. It's a small space so hard to linger. Check it out if only for the smell and the free tea sample! It a fun stop at Pike place!

MarketSpice is a retail shop located in the Pike Place Market that dates back to 1911. We got to taste some of the tea samples and ended up going in to look around. Service was ok, not super friendly, but no real complaints. I just was not impressed and there was a lack of personality of the employees that did not feel too inviting. It is a cute little shop with a variety of teas and picked up a Bee mug for my Mom, and a 10-Teabag Pack of the MarketSpice Cinnamon-Orange Signature Black Tea and a Chai 10-Teabag Pack. It was just Ok for me but stop in if you are in the area and your experience maybe better.

Lots of selections of teas, herbs, & spices. Staff was really nice. There were tea samples.

Feels Like Home: Whenever I'm home for the holidays, MarketSpice at Pike Place Market in Seattle is always on my must-visit list. The Cinnamon-Orange Tea is one of a kind & a flavorful combo that delights me every single time! Yum! While home for Thanksgiving, I decided to try some of their other items as well! Cinnamon-Orange Tea: One of an kind! Incredibly fragrant & so delicious that there's no need for sugar...its sweetness is all natural! I picked up 2 Boxes; 48 Tea Bags. I love this tea so much, because it reminds me of home. Whenever I run out, I won't even throw away the box until a new one arrives! Love it! Spiced Cider Mix (4 oz.): Another winner! I tried a sample & immediately had to take home with me. Reminds me of a warm hug. It's fragrant & perfect for winter. I also purchased this for my brother & sister-in-law. They loved it as well. Note: Be sure to also purchase Apple Cider at the grocery store to complete this mix! Cinnamon-Orange & Clove Hot Chocolate(6oz.): Purchased for the first time; it's a unique combo. Glad I tried it. Milk is needed. I tried it with almond milk. Chai Tea(10 bags): Purchased for the first time. I also love that there are also smaller samples to buy at MarketSpice. Masks: Still required around 2022 Thanksgiving, 2022 Christmas and as of January 2023. Free masks are at the door! Overall: I keep MarketSpice Cinnamon-Orange Tea stored at home all year long, as I absolutely love it. Each sip takes me back to Seattle & reminds me of being at home with family; it's a natural winner!

MarketSpice is one of those special places that are hidden away in the Pike Place Market but located in a little corner it is really a spice lovers' delight. There is literally basically ever type of spice you've ever wanted (and many that I didn't know existed). Yes its crowded and yet its hard to find things, but that is pretty much the charm of the place. So don't just get that store bought spice and leave it on your shelf five years, instead when making a special dish, come by here, get what you need and you will be rewarded with more flavor than you can imagine

We found what we needed there to help our wee doggie get through a respiratory issue comfortably…read more A naturopathic syrup formula of Slippery Elm, Marshmallow Root and unheated raw honey soothed his cough by the second dosing (3x's per day) and symptoms went completely away in two days. However we continued for one more day and he has had no relapse. That said, not all pet illnesses or discomfort can be cured with herbal formulas and so we do not disregard seeing his veterinarian for a diagnosis for anything alarming or persistent and he is vaccinated. However, we do support and enhance positive health, his and ours, through diet first which can include health enhancing formulas which I prefer to make myself rather than trusting formulas that are not regulated and can contain whatever ingredients profiteers without consciences want to put in them. Was thrilled to find such an apothecary in the Seattle metro because it allows me to know exactly what I gave my sweet doggie during his discomfort and I can obtain formulas or make them myself to support our family's health as needed.

She truly cares about her customers and what she dose. The establishment has numerous herbal supplements and extracts, as well as many fresh herbs that can be used for culinary and multiple uses. The prices at Good Vibrations are extremely affordable. One product I purchased, I purchased previously from a supplement store. Good Vibrations sold the same item, for 40% less. This is a must try if you want to explore natural remedies, purchase fresh herbs, coffee, tea or incense.

The coffee was delicious especially with the house-made nondairy milk, but what really stood out was the frosted cinnamon roll, which was almost like candy. I am not sure if this happens during the busiest moments in the shop, but they did have staff bussing the tables, and one staff member actually brought us our order (I'd been listening for my name to be called and didn't hear it). It was a really nice touch with some really pleasant waitstaff.

They clearly care about their image as they offer a free mug for first-time customers with an email sign-up. The drinks here are ok, but they average between $8-$10 each. I think the pricing is just much too high. You're paying for the vibes, not for a great cup of coffee. The matcha we tried was mediocre. There are so many other great places for coffee in Seattle, for just a fraction of the price. I think Storyville is preying on tourists visiting the market. They probably have to charge that much to keep the 8 employees milling about behind the counter employed. The space does have lots of seating, but it was nearly full during our early afternoon visit. Save your money, find another great local coffee spot!
