My wife chose a Malbec from Argentina which we are somewhat familiar with and I rolled the dice and selected a Sauvignon Blanc from Baja California. We asked for a sample taste of each and our server left and didn't come back until 5 minutes after our entrees were served. My wife hardly ate her meal and was still hungry and ordered their churros. You can't go wrong with homemade churros. When they arrived, it looked promising, but that first bite was very sweet and the exterior was over fried and the interior was doughy and not a good texture. If I had to guess, the oil was too hot when they fried them. What a bummer. Everything seemed disjointed and not executed correctly after the cocktails and appetizer. Perhaps it was an off night because there are a lot of good reviews. I wish we could have gave a good review because everything was presented so nice.
