This was my first time at this particular Iconik location and I had a very positive experience. A spacious, open space with live plants, various seating options and upbeat music. The music was a bit loud so this might not be the best place to study or work if you want to concentrate. I ordered the breakfast tacos and a seasonal muffin. Both were super tasty! I also tried the filter coffee and was offered a sample before committing to one of the two available choices. The coffee was so legit that I didn't even need to add cream. Restrooms are clean and parking was easy. Between the ambiance, food, coffee and service, I cannot recommend this place enough. Undoubtedly one of the best coffee spots in all of NM. read more

The parking spaces were a bit tight. I like the aesthetic of the place. It's pretty big inside. My iced tea was ok, my wife's iced oat latte was very good. My wife got a Guatemalan bean and cheese burrito and to be honest it tasted like grocery store canned refried beans. The acai bowls were pretty bad they were like frosty from being refrozen but also meted and watery. The granola and strawberries were good but the pineapple and blueberries were not. I'd say if you go there maybe stick to espresso drinks. read more

Great shop! So much space, love the design! Food is always good the only thing- I wish they were consistent with portions. I order bean cheese burritos and sometimes they're nice and hearty and other days my gosh they're skinny and almost have no beans, and let's be for real beans are CHEAP.. they're the best vegan option when you're in a hurry! We had hot coffee specialty drinks and cookies to-go a few weeks ago (which were perfectly delicious), so we decided to check out the breakfast menu. We shared the Eggs Benedict and Chilaquiles and two brewed coffees, one Colombian, one Brazilian. The brewed coffee was just okay. I was delighted with the presentation of our breakfast choices. Eggs Benedict: Pickled red onions on fried potatoes? Those two flavors together were amazing! The bacon was thick cut and smoky. The hollandaise was perfect and lemony. My only knock is that the poached eggs were not runny. They were hard boiled in texture. And I wasn't asked how I wanted my poached eggs, so next time I'll ask for them to be runny. Chilaquiles: Great homemade crunchy chip covered in a red chile sauce, two eggs over easy, black beans, all perfectly seasoned. Portions were ample. Parking was plentiful. This location is great for group meetings, friend's gathering, or dining alone. Several people had their laptops out and were working. An office group was gathered at the big community table. Other folks sat in the comfy sofa area. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy with locals or to bring your visitors from out of town. We will definitely return to explore more of the menu. read more

I've run several coffee shops in Dallas and found Iconik amazing. I had a Rawandan pourover that was out of this world--smooth, fruity, great texture and presentation! I followed up with a drip coffee to go that was velvety and so tasty. They didn't know it was my birthday but got the day off to a great start! If you're in Santa Fe, check these folks out. My sister and I were in Santa Fe for a sister trip. We hit the iconik roasters 4 times while we were there. This is a fabulous place that has such a cool urban vibe. The staff is great. The coffee is great and the breakfast for two of those mornings was wonderful. We went to two iconic roasters. And they were both wonderful. The new Iconik is a nice change from the other two locations. While I love the mix match furniture of the other two this spot is much more spacious. The shop an open concept with great lighting and huge windows. There are plenty of small tables to work at with your drink and snack. Sadly not many big tables for groups. I will be coming back! Had to give it 4 stars because my latte was subpar but I think it may have been a fluke. And the space is too good for studying to not come back. read more

Iconik Red is big and bright and has a decent food selection. I like to go there to meet up with people. The baristas are always nice. If you go there be ready to wait a while for your drink and maybe not get an inside seat. We ordered a basic tea and a horchata latte, we got there at 11, waited til 11:30 to order because the line was long, we got our 2 drinks at 12:15. I feel 1hour 15 min is a bit of a long time to wait for a hot tea and a latte. To be fair They seemed short staffed and were very busy the whole time every seat was taken. read more

It costs about a quarter to make a cup of coffee at home. They buy in bulk, so it should be cheaper for them to do it. So, how do they sleep at night with their prices? When even pro-genocide, pro-apartheid, anti-union Starbucks can give free refills on their similarly ridiculously priced coffee, why can't this chain? At Panera, where the coffee is admittedly not nearly as good, you can get all the coffee you can drink for $10/month with the Unlimited Yearly/Annual Plan. If you get a cup here and two refills, you've already surpassed the $10 - in 2 hours. At Panera, you also get for that $10, unlimited hot and iced, green, herbal and black tea, lemonade, and other drinks including unlimited soft drinks. The pleasure I get from these savings far exceeds any increased pleasure I would have from drinking Iconik's better coffee. The food is similarly ridiculously priced at Panera but it's consistently hot - unlike Iconik. And a Walmart 20 lb bag of dried beans is $15 - that's 75 cents a lb before cooking. After cooking, they probably at least double their weight - so that's 37 cents a lb or less. Eggs are about 15 cents each now retail, so why are egg breakfasts $14 when they buy eggs in bulk at a cheaper price? I don't go to any Iconik because this kind of greasy, greedy business owner makes me long for guillotines. I much prefer places with reasonable prices based on cost and a logical, value-based profit. Charging 10 to 20 times cost, makes me angry. It should make you angry. read more

Update: the new guy at the counter was nicer than the last batch, but it was pretty unnerving that he was wearing a cropped top, exposing several inches of treasure trail body hair, and then watching him make beverages with said body hair so freely exposed and close to the food and beverages he was serving. I have no issue with cropped tops, but when it comes to preparing food and drinks, this fashion choice flies in the face of proper hygiene. Super gross. Also, I wish they'd start serving the Korean beef tacos they have at Lena Street. Please have your employees cover up and show up for work dressed professionally and appropriately for food service. Weird that I even have to mention this, and that management lets it slide. read more

How can I rate Iconik anything but five stars?! They now have three locations that I know of, but I really prefer the one on Baca Street. The cooks there just really have their act together, and the menu is my favorite of all three locations. Yummm. Their new Cerrillos location is perfect if you're getting your tires attended to at discount tire right next door. What a plus for that! and the railyard location is convenient and has nice outdoor seating as well. The staff at all three locations are great, they seem to have a talent for attracting good people. read more

Can't believe at over $4 for a cup of drip, they still charge another $2.75 for a refill!! PLUS ask that you get back in the line of other customers to pay for your refill. Wow! I told them even Starbucks offers free refills now for sit-in customers. Clerks response was..."well we have extraordinary coffee". Third try at Iconik RED. staff is cool but overworked. Food service is horrible. Food served COLD all three times. $$$ for breakfast hard to swallow as was the cold eggs. While the coffee is good, their prices are off-putting. They charge 4.50 for a latte that comes in one size only-10 ounces. When you consider other specialty roasters are charging 1.00 more for 6 additional ounces, you realize what a price gouge this is. The higher price is also evident in their whole bean prices; more money for 2 ounces less product. Their coffee bags have this annoying plastic zipper built into the bag so when you get 2/3 down in beans, your hand doesn't fit in to scoop out the beans. I won't be back and wouldn't recommend. On a positive note, the staff is very friendly. read more

This is an awesome spot and if I lived in Santa Fe I'd be a regular. The service is friendly and the food is a step above typical coffee shop fare. I had the El Ranchero and it was fantastic. It's also very spacious and they seem to encourage patrons working there for hours, offering power strips under the tables to recharge devices. I love the living wall too. read more

We were excited hearing they served Guatemalan dishes, but were quickly disappointed when actually trying the dishes, they were either too salty, flavorless and sad in general.
