The expired packages are pushed to the front and all of the new packages are way in the back. Go and look for yourself. You will see a bunch of ripped labels on the bakery items. Also, their produce section is pretty terrible. They also have a bunch of broken freezer doors that just literally stand open. I have been a few times and these doors are still just open right where the eggs are. I don't go here anymore.

A nearby cashier informed me they usually close it at 6:30 p.m. but a manager had done so early -- and it really all depends on what any given manager wants to do. I do not know why FedEx partners with this grocery store chain, which demonstrates about as much interest in sending and receiving packages as a tin can. But per the FedEx website, this location provides services until 8 p.m. every day of the week. I will say that the cashier was friendly, which is the only positive thing to report.

Like all the TJ's I have been to, this one stays busy; however, the crew keeps it fairly clean and organized. The cashiers moved quickly and the man that checked us out was amicable and chatty. It is very inconvenient to get through the customer lane if anyone else is there and we're not sure we really want to be that familiar with strangers. The clerk today couldn't have cared less when I mentioned that the New Narrower For You! lanes were too close. They need to remove a couple checkout lanes. The Cordova store should send a delegation to San Francisco, where we recently shopped at the Fulton & Laguna intersection store. ONE LINE! Brilliant! And the line feeds into a fairly open area with about 10-16 spots, not lanes, where the cashiers hang out. Is there any hope that the Cordova Joes management will wake up and make the checkout experience at least tolerable? (nope i don't think so either). And please corral the obstructive flower shop at the entry! Convene a Board of Customers to go through the store with an attentive professional management team and fix this place.
