The ladies up from are sweet. However, I went in for sore throat pain that I told them was excruciating.. I had a feeling I had strep throat and was hoping I would walk out with antibiotics. In the office there are several posters basically saying how they are against giving out antibiotics. The doctor told me I had the flu and to take over the counter flu medicine. I paid $75 just to get an even worse case of strep because I didn't have antibiotics and had to drive 2 hours to a real doctor. read more

Awful, Awful service. These people should NOT be trusted to test people during a pandemic. The forced me to do an online consult before my test then after filling out forms online and going through all of that they told me they would call me back in 24 hours to schedule an appointment. WE are in a pandemic. They failed to call me back. I had to call them back. Now it has been over a week since the test and they can't even find my results. They took scrupulous info including social security number to make sure they were paid and then within one minute of coming in the room the doctor asked what he was expected to do for painful muscle spasms. I have visites them 3x for the convenience. Each time they didntbresolve the issue. My kid had a raah and they prescribed a cream and it was not doing anythingbso I had to take him to the pediatrician and they said that cream could spread the fungus. I had a ear infeccion and they prescribed me some drops and after 3 days I feel the same pain. I am going to another urgent care because my dr doesnt have an appt until August 22 and its July 11. read more

Second time in 2 years we have seen Les Mershon at this Urgent Care. He is very attentive and GREAT with kids! My 6yo was seen for a Nursemaids ebow. The staff was accommodating and even offered my girls organic juice boxes and a snack. Good experience for a stressed out momma with 2 kids in tow. We would have waited 6 plus hours at an ER for an incident such as this but we were in and out in a little over an hour X-rays and all!! Thankful for the X-ray capability and friendly staff. She was extremely positive, helpful, and understanding of my needs. She got things started and I felt very welcome. When I was seen, I met with Les Mershon, the physician assistant. He, too, was excellent! He was approachable and knowledgeable in discussing my issues. We went over my symptoms and he concluded it was acute bronchitis. He prescribed medications that would help and gave me suggestions to monitor and maintain its control. It was exactly what I was looking for /needed. I will definitely continue to take advantage of this Urgent Care when I am not feeling well. It is also close to my home and that helps with its convenience! The service here is atrocious, you go to all the trouble of calling to make an appointment after they are listed on your medical coverage website, at the time of making the appointment you ask them to confirm you are covered which they do, you then go in for the appointment and wait over an hour while they "check" your insurance only to be told "this is not covered here !!!!!" Unacceptable !!! if coverage is such an issue to confirm why don't they ask you for details before they make the appointment, they waste your time and theirs only to send you away or is their idea to just get you to pay in full !!!! This place should be shut down or have a major staff overhaul. read more

My first time visiting Marque urgent care was great. The check in process is speedy. I waited about 30 minutes until I was called back. Kristin is awesome and made me feel taken care of immediately when she called me back. She was friendly and punctual. Kristen introduced me to the ergotron computer system in the back, which allows you to talk to a doctor through the video screen. This way you don't have to wait in the lobby as long for a doctor in person. I was amazed by this advanced technology Marque urgent care had. NP Jackson was extremely helpful and our call was only about 5 minutes. He prescribed me medication and I was on my way. Such a quick, but well done process. Thanks Kristen for everything! I have been to this location twice....once for myself the other for a friend....my visit was ok...sat in my car during the wait which was not very long...however the visit with my friend....I went in got the paper filled it in for him, gave them his info....first person comes out and says stitches will be needed, we'll be right with you....young lady comes out after finding an issue with the insurance and tells us that the dr can't do anything for us because it had been too long since the injury occurred. We insisted on being seen, she then began telling us how much it would be and how it had to be paid and billing was not an option as if we could not pay. Reiterated to her that he wanted to see the dr....she walked away with an attitude. Was seen by the dr and received 8 stitches at a charge of $700....when we paid the same young lady had an even bigger attitude. Others in the office were very professional she was not. Wish I could remember her name... I learned that if you have asthma don't go to the PB location not sure about this one....was told they don't have the equipment to treat as an asthmatic (oxygen?) read more

I was very disappointed with meeting a dr by virtual means. The dr was unable to give me the correct diagnosis because he wasn't hands on. I was put on the wrong antibiotics and took them for a week as the infection continued to worsen. A week later I finally had to go to the ER due to the intense pain and growth of the infection. I was given an IV of a potent antibiotic along with a prescription for 10 days at 4 antibiotics per day because the infection had gotten so bad. I'm still recovering and in pain. After having the worst experience at Sharp Rees Stealy this morning (don't ever go there) I left without being seen. I went to this urgent care. They were amazing. The girls up front were great, nice and helpful. The Dr who saw me was awesome! I left there with a diagnosis and a prescription that I really needed. I'm from out of state and although I hope to not need their serves again but if I do, this will be the first place I will turn too. Thank you again! read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could. August first 2018 I walked in asking for help because I got stung by a bee before work. I was denied help because I had no medical insurance. I've never had an urgent care deny me before. I will never ever go to this place again. I had to walk into work, and take the stinger out myself. I worked all day. Later that night I ended up at the hospital due to the bee sting. They helped me get insurance and everything. The whole time I was at work I kept my eye on where I was red and where I was stung. Next time someone asks for help, you need to help them or get them help instead of denying any kind of help what so ever. I ended up having to be put into a wheelchair because it was too painful for me to walk. I had to hop into my aunts car to leave the hospital, and I was on three different medicines. All could of been avoided or dealt with when I walked in for help. Thank god for Kaiser Permanente. They saved my brother's life when he walked into urgent care in 2017. Thankfully I'm not allergic to bees or I could of died from this. read more

I had a wonderful first visit to this office on Friday 10/16/2020. I bet that Marque Urgent Care must treat its staff very well as a company because each and every staff member I interacted with today went above and beyond in the patient experience. From my very first interaction with them over the phone to the moment I left the office, I felt like an important and valued guest. Erica made sure I was comfortable in their beautiful modern facility by offering tea, coffee, and water and was prompt and polite in taking my first-time-patient information. Olga was an amazing help while taking my vitals and offering me my supplementary post-care resources. Most of all, I'd like to thank P.A. Les for making my visit so special. An urgent care facility is the last place you'd think you'd meet a medical professional who genuinely cares about your long-lasting health and medical condition. I expected to be tossed in and out of that room faster than a change of clothes, but Les took his time to listen to my issues, discuss his medical opinions, entertain my questions, and make sure I understood the implications of my treatment. Les is extremely well-spoken and communicative, not at all condescending or impatient. He was able to quell my fears, reassure me of my condition, and offer detailed follow-up information, even if it would be with my primary care provider and not with Marque Urgent Care. They treat patients well. Most have good attitudes , however I made an appointment and wasn't seen until an hour and a half later. For someone who has a busy schedule, this completely ruined my planned out day. Probably will not come back to this location . My husband and I went here last week for a smashed thumb. The nurse was very nice and friendly(I believe her name was Taylor) The doctor however had horrible bedside manner. He continued to hurt my husband and doing more movement with his hand then my husband was able to do. He did not care that he was in pain at all. He ended up having to have an X-ray and the tech was very nice also. The doctor came back in after the X-ray and told us it's not broken and that's pretty much it. He didn't really give us any after care instructions except ice and left without giving us the chance to ask any questions. (Which I do understand there isn't much that can be done if it's not broken. But still maybe stay for one more second so we can ask questions.) I ended up asking our nurse the questions that we had and she helped all she could while delivering the work note. Unfortunately the work note did not have any information on it on why he was there or that he could return to work. Because of this my husband had to go back in today, because I tried calling 5 times with no luck of anyone answering, to get a better note. The receptionist he spoke to said she doesn't get why his job wouldn't take this note and said we are very busy so come back later. Obviously that wasn't an option to come back later because he needed to get back to work. So my husband told her can you just have the doctor give me a note saying I can return to work? I'm sure they deal with this problem all the time because of work comp issues but she had no idea what he was talking about. She was very upset that she had to help him with this. But finally, an hour later and after much attitude and feeling like he was bothering them, he got the note. We will never return to this urgent care. I work for a hospital organization and there is no need to treat your patients the way they treated us. I'd much rather wait hours at the emergency room then deal with the outrageous attitude at this facility. The only reason I am giving two stars is because of the great nurse we had. read more

I have been here a few times and have always left feeling like I had an awesome experience. The staff is very nice and fast. The doctors seem competent and caring. I am new to town and do not have a regular physician so it's so nice to know I can come here and be seen easily and quickly. Today I was send for an upper respiratory infection. The doctor was on video which I have never done before but I was seen in 5 minutes. He was able to treat me on camera and listen to my lungs and heart. Had a 330 appt. Got there 320ish. Didn't get in a room until 420ish. Got out the door around 505. Could have been better, could have been worse. If we'd have gotten in before 4, I might have gone for a 4, but the wait with an appointment is not satisfying. Perhaps add an hour to your appointment time to reflect when you might get in. read more

Went to this Urgent care for a laceration on my foot. The receptionist, nurses, and the doctor were very professional. Quite enjoyed my visit! Dean did a great job and made me feel welcome. Came to this urgent care today to find the lobby full so then the two ladies at the front promoted me to use the tablet to make an appointment. On the tablet it said it would be busy until 9:50. So I come in at 9:58 and that is rude of me because I did come in late but my ride to here took awhile longer than expected. I walk in and it looks EMPTY no one in sight... so I'm wondering why they didn't call me in sooner.. but anyways I see the two front desk ladies looking like they are counting money. So they probably were closing up early. I sincerely apologized for being late and then the ladies said that they couldn't take me because I was late.. that they 'couldn't make an appointment' so what if I was just a walk in would they still deny my treatment. I just felt extremely discriminated against. And I feel like they couldn't make the appointment because they closed down their system early. Like I said I was and am sorry for being late I know they have other things to do but I really needed to see a doctor today and they denied me and blamed it on me. They are technically open until 10 so I just think they didn't want to deal with it. read more

Went to the Dr. to see what I could safely take for an inflamed joint one day prior to surgery. The Dr prescribed a topical gel and called the prescription in to CVS. Went to CVS where I found that it was not covered by my insurance. Called the Dr back and was told that he was busy with another patient but would phone in a different prescription and I'd be notified when that took place. That NEVER happened. Zero follow through. I would not recomend to use this urgent care. I cannot even call them "urgent" care. My dad came to them 10 days ago with fewer, alergy reaction on antibiotics and possible infection. They did his labs and sent him home without any prescription, because they were waiting on lab results. We were calling them every day and the only responce that we receiving was "your labs will be ready tomorrow" and "one more day". So, 10 days later still no lab results, my dad was going to emergency room and admitted to the hospital. read more

I brought my son in for chest pains. Prior to our visit, we reserved an appointment. We waiting in the front for about 20-30mins (this included new patient paperwork). Not too bad. We were called and greeted by Dean. He was very welcoming and pleasant. I cannot remember the doctors name but he was a middle aged African American doctor. He was very attentive and knowledgeable. This place is an awesome Urgent Care! My husband had to have a shot, and he REALLY hates needles. Well Dean gave him the shot and it was the best he ever had to have. Trust me, my husband rates all people who give him shots or draw blood and Dean is top notch, he barely felt anything. So if you have to have a shot or vaccine, go see Dean. The quality of care was outstanding, way better than the curtained rooms at Sharp Urgent care. Dr. was spot on and helped my husband who had a lung condition he didn't even know about as it was injury that brought him in. So glad we went to Marque. read more
