Came here to pickup a new pair of Brooks. This is a small shop, but they offer quite a bit as far as shoes and services. They not only offer supportive shoes, they make custom shoes and custom orthotics as well. We were helped by three employees, who were all friendly and receptive to the type of shoe we were looking for. We ended up leaving with a new pair of brooks and will be back to get each color. They don't carry their full selection in store, but they can order what they don't have. read more

Would not recommend this store. We went to Marsden's after a visit to the Podiatrist. We were met by the salesperson. We showed her the list provided by the Dr. She showed us a couple of pairs from the list. She then showed us a pair of shoes I never heard of, which were quite a bit more expensive. About this time an older male asian possibly a manager came from the back of the store. He was trying to convince us that the more expensive shoes were more advanced then the New Balance shoes. We advised him that the shoes were not on the list provided by the Dr. The male asian then called the Dr's office asking them to put the pair of shoes on the recommended shoe list. Unknowingly to us they charged us for the more expensive shoes along with 4 pairs of orthodic inserts also recommended by the Dr. Approximately 30 mins later, we returned to the store stating we didnt want to purchase the unknown shoes and wanted the New Balance shoes that were recommended by the Dr. The older male asian, stated that the original insoles were missing. We never received the original insoles, because the insoles we purchased were inserted into the shoes and the original insoles from the shoe were not returned to the original box. I went home to look for the insoles, possibly left at home. Almost 2 hours later we were able to return the wrong pair of shoes, but they had to order the original shoes we wanted. It took almost 2 weeks to receive the shoes ordered. We also received store credit for the difference. Once the balance for the store credit is used, we will never shop here again. ​ read more

This shop has the best customer service I've ever experienced!! Tony took his time and pulled out as many shoes as it took to find ones that fit me right. As I've gotten older, experiencing all sorts of feet issues: bunions, wide feet, flat feet, etc. Many places they just care about selling shoes and pushing shoes on you that may not be right. Here, I genuinely felt that all the salesman here care about what's best for your feet and take the time to check and feel the shoe on your feet etc. to make sure it's right. I can praise them enough for their care and full service and attentiveness that they pay to their customers. Bonus: for my newest bought Brook shoes, he told me to hold on to the receipt and writhing 9 months, I can bring it here and they will clean it for me. They are awesome! read more

So because of the first review I gave . They would not allowed me to come back for my next order through Kaiser medical. They gave me an appointment for July 20,2025 and that date rolls up and they called to cancel my appointment. So they say due to an emergency. So later that day I have my wife call and they gave her my appointment at 4 pm for that same day at that point I called Kaiser and had them call and Kaiser tells me that the person she spoke with had an unexceptional answer! That made no sense to Kaiser. So I was sent to a location in Downey with a bigger selection of diabetic shoes, and inserts . Be careful what you post about that shoe store . Cause they will give you the run around on appointments till your claim expires as they did me . I forgot to say they offered me an appointment in September and that's when my claim expired. read more

My podiatrist sent me to Marsden's to look over the footwear and compression socks, as I approached the door a very tall gentleman whose name is Zee, asked if I needed any help? He was extremely knowledgeable about the footwear, compression socks and the arch support I needed. If I could given negative stars I would have. I took my shoes in to be repaired on Friday 3/21 for an event on Tuesday. Sales rep told me they would be ready Saturday 3/22 & they close @ 5pm. I called @ 2pm to check what time to pick them up. Person that answered the phone said she would have to have someone call me back. 3pm I get a call back saying they didn't have the pieces need for the repair and wouldn't be ready until Thursday. UNACCEPTABLE! They knew they didn't have the piece in the morning!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE! They should have contacted me as soon as they knew!!! I paid when I dropped the shoes off. Icing on the cake...it'll take 7 days to get my refund. This place is a joke. Not even an apology! read more

I've passed by after hours and thought the shoes were for elderly people. There are several salespeople and customers when I stopped by, and a welcoming atmosphere. They have a good selection of shoe inserts, including Superfeet. No wonder they've been in business for so long! read more

As I have had 3 surgeries on my right foot, I find it difficult to find shoes that are comfortable and fit. Several times I have just "dropped in" at the store only to find it difficult to have anyone provide service. Another time I received excellent help but just last year prior to Christmas, I purchased a pair of shoes that were to be the same size that I was wearing. Trusting the sales people know what they are doing, I pulled them out of the box and did not keep it. Now when I went into the store, the manager said they would not accept them since I did not have the box so I did not return all I purchased. They sold me a pair of shoes that were 2 sizes too small. The shoes were never worn. His business card indicates he was the store manager, Felipe Ibarra. Although we have lived in Fullerton for 48 years, my daughter has an office in uptown Whittier and we attend church in Whittier. I plan to tell everyone I know NOT to use this shoe store because they are difficult to work with especially since they are a shoe store that specializes in orthopedic shoes and have to fit shoes on people who have problems. but are not careful with what is sold I do not plan to return to this store ever. read more

There's many stores that will have you stand on their machine to measure your feet to guide you to a more proper fit. And I've found this very helpful to me. However my wife has more issues with her feet than simple arch issues. And that's why you go to this store. We worked with Dan for over an hour. He could tell from looking what my wife's issues were, why she had them, and what to do. Things only experience and desire to help people in distress can give. They do not have an extensive showroom but what they have is attractive. Besides, you are there for much more than simple style. But they do have style. I have had diabetic inserts custom made from Marsden for over 10 years and Ben is the best. Ben tailor makes these custom inserts according to what my feet need and my nee pain and back pain diminishes. The orthocist is personable and patient at being disingenous and non-transparent. The Propet shoes were poor quality and too wide. They're at the Goodwill now. The inserts have no arch support and no metatarsal support. They're in the landfill now. I was literally lied to when told that the inserts would provide both arch/metatarsal support. A flat slab under the insert was THAT SUPPORT. Podiatrist confirmed there was no support to be had. As a result, I am now suffering from indescribable metatarsal pain while I await new shoes and inserts from another outlet. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIFIC, PURPOSELY DECEPTIVE, DAMAGING DUMP THAT DOESN'T GIVE A FLYING F ABOUT YOUR FOOT HEALTH. $740.00 FOR PROVIDING UNIMAGINABLE PAIN, CRIPPLING STRESS/ANXIETY AND INFLICTING IRREPERABLE DAMAGE TO MY QUALITY OF LIFE. I found this store because my mom needed shoes, and she refused for me to get them online. They have a good selection of shoes, and the young lady assisting me was courteous. She left to help someone else, and I didn't see her anymore. So I asked a young male that works there for assistance. He was also courteous and helpful. I would have given this place five stars because of the shoe selection and those two workers if it weren't for what happened next. I was at the counter with my mom, and she wanted to get some of those disposable try-on socks from the box. She's an older person, so she was struggling with taking one out of the box. Well, a woman was sitting in front of a computer next to the counter and saw my mom doing this. She got up from her seat and took the box away from my mom! I told her that she just wanted to get some try-on socks, and she said, "I took the box away because people tend to steal the entire box." What the heck?! I explained to her that was definitely not the case and she took two socks and gave them to my mom. She was very disrespectful. I do not know if she is the owner or the daughter's owner.
