They did Excellent work on such a short notice, and tailored everything how it needed to be.

Alteration work is definitely 5/5 however i rate a 3/5 due to bringing in my item for alteration on a monday and being told it be ready for pick on that saturday upon pickup he couldnt even locate my item had to wait 15 minutes to later him finding it and realized he never even worked on it, non apologetic . He was able to get the work done in 3 hours but not the experience i expected to receive. read more

I brought in a dress for my engagement shoot to hem. Being a 4th generation sewist, I knew how the hem needed to be done and had the equipment to do it, but with the stress of planning, I chose to treat myself and higher a pro. I told the tailor exactly what type of hem was needed and showed him the original hem saying that's what I wanted. It was a sturdy hem for long dresses that wouldn't snag the fabric. They quoted me almost double what I was quoted elsewhere , but I figured I would rather pay the higher price for higher quality work. I said no rush so long as it was done in a week. They gave me a ready to pickup date of the day before my photoshoot and I was on my way. The day of, I called around 12 to see the progress since they said the dress would be ready at 1pm. 1. They said they forgot about my dress and were going to jump on it, but it would be ready by 1pm. I said my lunch is at 1:30, so that's great. 2. I show up at 1:45. Still not hemmed. They said I could wait 20 min and it would all be hemmed and ready. I had to go back to work, so I needed to go home. 3. My fiancé picked up the dress because I was still working at 4:30. The hem was a loose, haphazard serged hem, the kind you have at the end of your t-shirt before it's fully sewn. I was upset, but had to accept the poor quality work because I needed to travel for the photoshoot the next morning. I wore this dress for 45 minutes and the hem, as predicted, ripped and is tattered. I should have just done it myself if this was the case, because I now need to fix their poor craftsmanship. I was considering taking all my work blazers here for alterations before, but after this experience, I can not recommend this place. read more

I had a brand new, chiffon, bridesmaid dress altered and the seams were off on both sides of the dress. The layers of the dress were cut to different lengths. It's was just a really bad job. I will never have anything else altered here. I'd give zero stars but the app makes me give at least one in order to post this. read more

I arrived with the dress and shoes in hand, and he quickly was able to set a hem line that we both agreed upon. He gave me a date for pick up that provided a few extra days of "breathing room", just in case there were to be any additional alterations. Honestly, John is the best. He's straight with you, fair in price, quick and professional with his work. He helped me essentially rebuild my dress shirt and didn't complain when I asked for a more modern cut of pant. John, is second to none, I was very impressed with the first drop off clothes I've given him. It was beyond my expectations, his skills is unmatched to perfections. After retrieving my first drop off, two days later I came back, dropped off more additional clothes for him. I'm impressed with the several basketball NBA jerseys he has done to make it more fitted to my body. You could'nt tell it has been tailored. I had to returned of course and drop off, Pair of my expensive Hermés jeans and we both had a good laugh why was the Hermés label inside the Jeans and not outside as it should be. What a find! I had a shirt jacket and the sleeves were way too long. I took it to my usual spot in Pico Rivera they wanted to just cut the sleeves and hem, there are cuffs and a placket. She said it's too much work. I left and will not be giving them my business anymore. Took it to another shop, same thing.
